TR1UMPH Ingredients

TR1UMPH boasts a completely open label that consists of 16 (yes, you read that correctly) ingredients all intended to support muscle growth, strength, recovery, and even mental focus and “vigilance”. You’ll find a welcome blend of familiar and not so familiar ingredients on the panel starting off with:

  • Maximum Health & Well-Being Activation

    Olympus Labs TR1UMPH Ingredients

So Glorious. Have you tried phosphatidic acid or lecithin granules yet? If not, run this for a couple of months and see!

    • Soy Lecithin (15g)

Lecithins are oily compounds found naturally in plants (soybeans) and some animals. Soy lecithin is extracted from soybeans either mechanically or chemically using hexane (a hydrocarbon).

Commonly, people supplement with lecithin for its high choline content to improve their overall brain function and focus. While that will certainly happen in this case, Olympus Labs has standardized this particular Soy Lecithin for its phosphatide content which are known to host a number of anabolic benefits, many of which we’ll cover in the following phosphatides.

The real reason this is here is for the gains that the phosphatidic acid brings, which is discussed below, but we break down everything because there’s several beneficial components.

    • Phosphatidylcholine (3.5g)

Phosphatidylcholine is a phospholipid that is a major constituent of cellular membranes and heavily involved in intercellular communication.[1] Additionally, it’s also part of the phosphatides found in soy lecithin, which supports muscle building due to their phosphatidic acid content.[2,3]

The back half of phosphatidylcholine is choline, a molecule that many of us simply don’t get enough of in our diets. It also serves as the backbone of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine.

Choline supplements are associated with increasing focus and cognition.[4,5] So, aside from sparking new muscle growth, you should experience a state of heightened focus as well

    • Phosphatidylethanolamine (2.98g)

Phosphatidylethanolamine (PE) is classified as a membrane aminophospholipid that converts to phosphatidylcholine in the body[6]

What’s this got to do with building muscle?!

Research has determined that a lack of PE impairs fatty acid oxidation, and leads to weight gain (fat, not muscle).[7] One spot where a lot of fatty acids are oxidized for energy is your muscles. So lacking in PE, severely impairs your body’s ability to use the proper energy source for its required tasks you are performing.

Getting enough PE helps keep your fat gain at bay, and ensure the weight you do gain is in the form of muscle!

    • Phosphatidylinositol (2.15g)

      Olympus Labs Ally Van Schaik

Head Demigoddess Ally Van Schaik knows what it takes to reach the next level.

Phosphatidylinositol (PI) is a member of a family of lipids known as phosphatidylglycerides. PI is heavily involved in lipid-signaling and cellular function with protein regulation.[8]

Like all the other phosphatides covered so far, PI is another in a long chain of compounds that work on the cellular level to help ensure your body is working in proper order to support muscle gain while you’re outside of the gym.

    • Phosphatidic Acid (913mg)

Phosphatidic Acid (PA) is a phospholipid. Basically, it’s a diglyceride fat with a phosphate group bonded to the glycerol backbone.

Phospholipids are a major constituent of cell membranes, and influence a number of mechanisms in cell metabolism. Several studies have been conducted on PA and found that not only is it highly bioavailable[12], but it can:

      • Increase Mass Gains[9]
      • Boost Strength[10]
      • Reduce Stress[11]
      • Enhance Fat Loss[9]

PA has been one of the more interesting ingredients to surface in 2015 and it’s nice to see another company starting to include it in their products.

You could read more about PA on our article titled Phosphatidic Acid – The Next Great Muscle Builder?!

    • Phosphatidylserine (114mg)

Phosphatidylserine (PS) is another fat-soluble aminophospholipid, that’s molecularly related to PE that we discussed above. Typically, it’s used to boost cognition and enhance memory.[13,14] This is due to the fact that high amounts of PS reside in the brain.

Furthermore, PS increases the brain’s capacity to perform mental calculations.[13] Interestingly enough, it also helps control control cortisol levels in the body. PS supplementation lowers ACTH levels in the body, a hormone secreted by the pituitary gland.[15]

The primary function of ACTH is to regulate the steroid hormone cortisol. Chronically elevated levels of cortisol are known to impair muscle growth, not something we’re interested in.

So, lowering ACTH results in a reduction of cortisol, which helps lower stress, but ultimately results in better muscle-building!

    • Lysophosphatidic Acid (14mg)

      Olympus Labs Destiny

Conqu3r your destiny with the perfect coming nation of TR1UMPH and Conqu3r Unleashed!

Lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) is also an intermediate in the synthesis of phosphatidic acid and a phospholipid derivative. Like all the other phospholipids we’ve covered, it’s a potent signaling molecule in cells[16] and helps the body function optimally to support muscle growth and limit fat gain.

  • Maximum mTOR Activation & BMP Anabolism

    • Rhodiola Rosea (100mg)

Rhodiola is a well-known adaptogenic herb frequently used to aid the body with various physical, emotional, and psychological stressors. Adaptogens like rhodiola also increase alertness and endurance while reducing mental fatigue from stressful situations.[17]

Rhodiola also enhances memory and cognitive functioning due to its actions on the neurotransmitter systems for acetylcholine, dopamine, serotonin, and norepinephrine production.[18]

    • Stearoyl Vanillylamide (20mg)

Stearoyl Vanillylamide is an analog of Capsaicin, the compound in chili peppers that gives it the quintessential tongue-numbing heat. Unlike Capsaicin, however, Stearoyl Vanillylamide doesn’t possess a strong flavor or smell, which usually alters the taste of powdered supplements.

Stearoyl Vanillylamide has been found to enhance endurance via increasing adrenaline secretion in animal trials.[19] Not much has been done in regards to human studies, but expect that to change in short order.

  • Maximum Ergogenic Ignition

    • Creatine Hydrochloride (2.5g)

      Olympus Labs Demigod

Whether you’re striving to be a Demigod or Demigoddess, nothing helps better than supplements from Olympus Labs.

The benefits of creatine of need little explanation, because most of the aspiring Demigods out there started their supplementation with this potent molecule. Creatine has long been synonymous with increasing lean mass gains and strength, while reducing fatigue.[20,21,22]

We do have to wonder why there’s only 2.5g included and not the clinically recommended 3+g dose though…  although this is close and is better than the typical 1-2g of Creatine HCl we normally see. It could be due to some overlap with the next ingredient…

    • Betaine Anhydrous (2.5g)

Betaine, a.k.a. Trimethylglycine (TMG), is a metabolite of choline and commonly found in beet root. Just like creatine, betaine is a proven strength and endurance booster that improves power and lean mass gains.[23,24]

Furthermore, betaine works synergistically with creatine to increase the body’s own production of creatine.[25] This supports the benefits of creatine and further enhances its effectiveness in the body.

You can read more in our article titled Betaine: A Safe, Natural Muscle Builder

    • L-Carnitine L-Tartrate (2g)

LCLT is a superior form of L-Carnitine that has some strong research demonstrating it’s incredibly effective for a much more diverse population than just elderly and vegetarian.[26,27] LCLT increases endurance and blood flow while reducing soreness and damage done to muscle fibers induced by rigorous exercise.[28,29,30]

LCLT further enhances recovery by increasing the density of androgen receptors in muscle cells.[31,32] What this means is that anabolic hormones like testosterone work more efficiently in the body which in turn helps you to get more “bang for your buck” from your workouts.

  • Maximum Energy, Endurance, Focus & Recovery Matrix

    • L-Alanine (1.5g) & L-Glutamine (1g)

      Ally Van Schaik 2

In or out of the gym TR1UMPH helps you make GAINS!

We’ve combined these two ingredients for a particular reason. Glutamine is well-known for enhancing muscle protein synthesis and recovery.[33] Typically though, glutamine is broken down in the stomach WAY before it ever reaches the intestines. This means glutamine isn’t absorbed into the bloodstream and transported to your muscles, where it should be used for growth and recovery.

Combining L-Alanine with L-Glutamine fixes this by improving the bioavailability of glutamine and its absorption.[34,35] This means your muscles all the great benefits that glutamine has always been hyped to confer.

    • elevATP® (150mg)

Also seen in Conqu3r Unleashed, elevATP® is a combination of extracts from apple and “ancient peat” (fossilized plants) developed by FutureCeuticals. It helps bolster ATP production in the body, which increases overall energy without the use of stimulants.

One study using elevATP® showed that 150mg dose increased “intracellular ATP in  blood cells”[36] which is the precise dosage included here. We really loved the endurance boost it yielded when using the new Conqu3r, and glad to see it used here as well.

    • AlphaSize® Alpha GPC (250mg)

Alpha GPC is a choline-containing compound that increases production of the “learning neurotransmitter” acetylcholine.[37] Studies using Alpha GPC show it can enhance focus, mood, and even “mind muscle connection.”

Other research involving Alpha GPC demonstrates it enhances endurance, power, and can even spike post-workout Growth Hormone (GH) output.[38,39,40]

Flavors Available

In keeping with an entirely brand new product, Olympus has crafted two brand new flavors to go along with TR1UMPH. You can choose from either Orange Cream Sorbet or Peaches n’ Cream Sorbet.

These flavor combinations are something you’ve probably never come across in any other muscle-building product. If the flavoring of TR1UMPH is as good as the new Conqu3r Unleashed was, you’ll be a happy camper.

We’re extremely excited to try this, since it will be unlike most other supplements – the lecithin granules add a sweet but slightly chalky taste that we normally just throw into oats. This could have several uses, but hopefully it’s easy to drink right out of the shaker with water.
