Glaxon entered the supplement industry in November 2019. Despite just one year of incredible success, the “Goons” decided to do a complete rebrand — or what they like to call “season two.” The goal is to make things even better and, offer more options, and reach a wider audience.
On top of releasing entirely new supplements (detailed on our Glaxon news page), they’re also updating product labels, formulas, and flavors for many of their existing products from “season one,” such as Plasm Surge V2 and Super Greens V2.
The supplement that Glaxon is most known for is Specimen, a high-stimulant pre-workout that hits harder than you might think. Most users couldn’t even handle a full-scoop, which really got people talking about this new brand.
Glaxon Specimen V2 Has Arrived With a New Formula and Non-Yohimbine Option
This is the moment that a lot of Glaxon fans have been waiting for… the release of Specimen V2. Not only does the second version of Specimen have a new look, flavors, and formula, but it also has a slightly different name:
The “original” Specimen, with its yohimbine blend, is upgraded and now called Specimen YoYo!
Specimen YoYo contains several ingredients that the original Specimen didn’t have, such as Astrolyte, betaine nitrate (as NO3-T), and yerba santa (as SantEnergy Nu).
Although Specimen V2 YoYo still contains the same amount of caffeine as Specimen V1, the addition of SantEnergy Nu should give you a more intense and longer-lasting energy boost. The changes that Glaxon made to Specimen V1 were significant, but now there’s a new Specimen on the block to talk about!
Also Introducing a new “Specimen Worldwide” — without the Yo-Yo Blend
If you thought the first version of Specimen was too strong, then it’s likely that Specimen YoYo will be as well. Fortunately, Glaxon is releasing another version of Specimen that’s suited for anyone who prefers a lower stimulant content. And the company intends to release it globally.
Here are some key differences between Specimen YoYo and Specimen Worldwide:
Specimen YoYo contains:
- Alpha-yohimbine and yohimbe (two alkaloids that significantly raise energy levels)
- 400 milligrams of caffeine anhydrous per serving
- 60 milligrams halostachine (an alkaloid with a similar chemical structure as ephedrine that also significantly raises energy levels, motivation, mood, and focus)
Specimen Worldwide contains:
- No alpha-yohimbine or yohimbe
- 300 milligrams of caffeine anhydrous per serving
- 170 milligrams of bitter orange fruit extract (increases fatty acid metabolism and decreases hunger)
Overall, Specimen YoYo contains more exotic stimulants, so it’s quite a bit stronger than Specimen Worldwide. Beyond those key differences, the remaining portions of the formula in Specimen YoYo and Specimen Worldwide are identical. Both products use a fully transparent label and split panel dosing, meaning that they list the exact amounts of each ingredient for both a half (one scoop) and full (two scoops) serving.
Regardless of which one you decide to try, we always recommend starting with half a serving (in this, one scoop) to assess your tolerance. They’re stronger than they look so get ready for a full-body experience!

Label Comparisons
Before getting into the details, let’s show all three labels for comparison:
- Specimen Original Formula (with yo-yo blend)
- Specimen V2 Yo-Yo
- Specimen V2 Worldwide (some retailers call it “Specimen”)
Specimen YoYo Ingredients
For optimal results, Glaxon recommends mixing one to two scoops of Specimen YoYo with 16 ounces of water and consuming 30 to 45 minutes prior to exercise. Specimen YoYo contains a total of 21 servings or 42 servings, depending on if you take a full or half serving.
Here’s what two scoops (15g) of Specimen V2 YoYo contains :
-
Beta-Alanine – 3.2g
-
Betaine Nitrate (as NO3-T) – 2g
-
Betaine Anhydrous – 1.25g
-
Astrolyte Electrolyte Blend (Fructooligosaccharides, Magnesium Citrate, Sodium Chlorides, Potassium Citrate) – 1g
-
Taurine – 1g
-
L-Tyrosine – 1g
-
Yerba Santa (Eriodyctyon californicum) [aerial parts] Extract (as SantEnergy Nu) – 400mg
-
Caffeine Anhydrous – 400mg
-
Cholinace (Vitacholine (as Choline L+Bitartrate), Alpha-GPC, Citicoline) – 300mg
-

-
Rauwolfia (Rauwolfia vomitoria) [leaf] Extract – 3mg
-
Yohimbe (Pausinystalia Yohimbe) [root bark] Extract – 2mg
Note: This is likely strongly yohimbine-based, but is labeled as “yohimbe” for compliance purposes. We think it feels very close to what you get when you take ~2mg yohimbine HCl.

Glaxon Strikes Again!
Glaxon is one of those unpredictable brands — you never know what’s going to come next. They continue to impress with creative labels, out-of-this-world flavors, innovative ingredients, and powerful formulas. Ever Since PricePlow first started working with Glaxon, we could immediately tell that the brand would change the industry in some way.
After just one year, Glaxon has made a major imprint on the market and is looking to do even more in 2021. Season two is still just the start.
Specimen is the flagship product that started all the buzz surrounding Glaxon. And over the past few months, Glaxon set its sites on overall health and reaching a wider audience.
For example, the company recently launched a greens power (Super Greens), stress relief supplement (Serenity), an immune system product (ARC Immune), and a premium multivitamin (100% Premium Daily Multi). All of these health-focused supplements could benefit most people since we all deal with stress, and are challenged to consume enough greens, vitamins, and minerals.
But for the stimulant-junkies that come to improve their sports performance, Glaxon has you covered with Specimen and Specimen YoYo. It’s anyone’s guess what Glaxon will release next…but we know you’re not going to want to miss it!
