Olympus Labs Massacr3 Brings Innovation and a Laxogenin Mega-Dose

Next up in a series of Olympus Labs updates is Massacr3, a supplement that works to promote natural muscle-building through a natural three-ingredient formulation in true Hero fashion. This supplement actually came out a year ago – November 2017 – but we’re finally catching up to it now. Will it help you Massacr3 your workouts or will it Massacr3 your wallet?

Olympus Labs Massacr3

You can tell from the looks of this bottle that Olympus Labs is going to dose something a bit more aggressive here…

The Premise: Massacr3 the Strength Barrier

Becoming an absolute unit, in terms of both size and strength, is the fundamental goal that gets us inside the gym. However, new lifters are all too often plagued by impatience. To hasten their results, they may turn to gray-area supplements like prohormones or SARMs, but those can have disastrous effects on the endocrine system if not handled with experience and care. Is there a middle-ground?

Olympus Labs introduced Massacr3 as an alternative option for those seeking heightened gains and strength increases, but with natural and legal anabolic ingredients. It’s a capsule formulated product that contains only three ingredients, two of which we’ve grown to know and one that’s relatively new for those seeking something different. It’s also designed to work well as part of Olympus Labs’ muscle-building stack, as it may work with their other anabolic supplement with no ingredient overlap.

Fresh off of a major rebrand with a cleaner look, Olympus Labs is one of those companies that always surprises us with their formulations, and Massacr3 is looking to be no exception. It’s a new take on an old trick — a massive dose of Laxogenin. You may be asking: what DOES Laxogenin do? Let’s cut to the science to find out, but first, you can sign up for our Olympus Labs price drops and news alerts as they keep rolling out new products:

Massacr3 Ingredients

Get ready for the biggest laxogenin dose we’ve ever seen!!

  • PhytoFUSE™ Laxogenin (600mg)

    Olympus Labs Massacr3 Ingredients

In just two capsules, you’ll get a new ingredient in Urolithin B and the largest dose of laxogenin on the market!

5a-hydroxy Laxogenin, or just Laxogenin, is a sapogenin. Sapogenins are steroid components of certain plants, often sourced from asparagus. Sapogenins are further classified as brassinosteroids, which are compounds found in plant matter.[1] To put it simply, it’s a freakin plant steroid! Laxogenin enhances muscle protein synthesis while preventing protein catabolism. By enhancing MPS and preventing catabolism, laxogenin should help you build more muscle and recover more.[2-3] While its anabolic properties are its most well-known features, Laxogenin may also help:[4-5]

    • Control stress levels through cortisol regulation
    • Improve general health markers, including cholesterol and blood sugar
    • Enhance body composition
    • Reduce perception of pain
    • Increase strength

PhytoFUSE lipid encapsulation for increased absorption

However, it has one massive issue that has held it back in the past: poor bioavailability. While this has been a huge turn-off in the past, Olympus Labs is here to bring Laxogenin back via PhytoFUSE! PhytoFUSE is a delivery system that uses soy phosphatidylcholine to improve the bioavailability of Laxogenin.

    Massacr3

It’s time to Massacr3 the gym

By encapsulating a the ingredient in a lipid matrix (which your intestines love to absorb), it improves the absorption of the ingredient as well. Once the lipid layer is broken down in the blood stream, the ingredient then gets released to do its work. Consider it a “trojan horse”. This has been a major selling point for Olympus Labs’ laxogenin-based products for years, and is why they’re leaders with this ingredient.

The increase in strength listed above is the anecdotal benefit, which is sometimes felt when dosing at around 150mg/day but with realistic expectations — we usually say that you should be able to squeeze another rep out of your 1RM bench press, for instance. But that may all change with this dose:

    Monstrous dose alert!

But the real story here is the dose — 600mg!!! This is about three times larger than the next best product. So with this one, you’re basically going all-in on laxogenin, and those gains discussed above may become a bit more serious here. We’ve honestly never taken such a dose, and we don’t know how intense it may get, but this is taking Laxogenin supplementation to a whole new level!

In turn, we’re going to need to amp up the blood flow next:

  • VASO-6 (300mg)

VASO-6 is an ingredient that combines six compounds extracted from green tea leaves into one awesome nitric oxide booster. By enhancing the amount of nitric oxide in the body, VASO-6 enhances blood flow throughout the circulatory system. While enhanced blood flow is amazing due to the jaw-dropping pumps you’ll experience, the ingredient also may improve glucose uptake and muscle protein synthesis due to its effects on nitric oxide.[6-7]

    Olympus Labs Massacr3 VASO6

Not just epic pumps, but epic delivery of the other two ingredients!

In addition, VASO-6 may improve recovery by interacting with nitric oxide synthase, the protein responsible for endogenous nitric oxide production. Since VASO-6 also includes epicatechins, we wouldn’t be surprised if the recovery boost is due to its epicatechin content![8-11]

The boost in nitric oxide is generous. An initial study showed that VASO-6 improved endothelial dependent relaxation of the vasculature 15% more than a control group. Numbers like 15% are a big deal in terms of blood flow, so expect fun gym sessions while using Massacr3![12,13]

So while we do believe this is a great pre-workout ingredient and Massacr3 should be taken 30-45 minutes before training (it can be taken anytime on non-training days), the added nitric oxide benefit will also include increased delivery of laxogenin and UroBolin!

  • UroBolin (150mg)

And they got us again. In almost every Olympus Labs review, the brand of Heroes hits us with a new idea or a ingredient. Urbolin, or Urolithin B, is one of four metabolites that comes from ellagic acid / ellagitannins.

    Ellagic Acid Benefits

When it comes to Urbolin’s benefits, is ellagic acid the name of the game?

Recent research showed that urolithin B enhanced the growth and differentiation of C2C12 myotubes through an increase in protein synthesis… which means it helps muscle hypertrophy in vivo. The same investigation showed that Urolithin B may have anti-atrophy qualities.[14] The mechanism may work through modulation of the androgen receptor and MTORC1 pathway, but more research is needed to solidify the connection.

This is yet another market innovation that Olympus Labs has found before the competition. The most convincing research we found was an in vivo trial, so we need to see human or at least rat trials before we’re sold, but the underpinning theory looks really good.

Massacr3 Dosage

Massacr3 Dosage

Just two caps, but taking it pre workout gets the VASO-6 benefits too!

As alluded to in the VASO-6 section, take two capsules 30-45 minutes pre workout (best on an empty stomach). On non training days, take it anytime, but it’s probably best to try to take it around the same time each day to keep things regular.

Stacking

This can be stacked with nearly any of Olympus Labs’ products, but for those looking to gain muscle, the two that come to mind are K1ngs Slayer (the other anabolic to pair up, featuring Korean Mistletoe) and Elim1nate (to keep estrogen under control).

And of course, you can’t go wrong with the I Am Suprem3 Black Magic pre workout, which is the same formula as Re1gn.

Conclusion: It’s time to Massacr3 those weights

Olympus Labs New Logo

What’s your story? Olympus Labs has refreshed their message, focusing on you.

Massacr3 is an interesting take on an old idea, but with that Hero twist that we nearly have to demand at this point. Olympus Labs was the first company to improve the bioavailability of Laxogenin, and that tradition of course continues to this day. However, that dose of Laxogenin is unlike anything seen before this!

In addition, we will always will take VASO-6 wherever we can get it, and UroBolin is sure to be a huge highlight for customers looking to try something new — which is typically the Hero way of doing things over at Olympus Labs!

If you’re looking to Massacr3 your workouts, then grab a bottle and let us know what you think!
