CORE Nutritionals LIFELINE is Here with Five Health Supplements

Core Lifeline Icon

Fans of CORE Nutritionals’ founder Doug Miller have long known that he’s a man who’s always put health in the forefront — for himself, for his customers, and for his family. In fact, as he explained to us in Episode #050 of the PricePlow Podcast, Core actually began with Core MRP because he couldn’t find a reasonable meal replacement that wasn’t full of unhealthy ingredients.

With years of incredible protein powders (Core Post Hot Cocoa and Core Pro PB&J are two favorites) and pre workout supplements like Core Fury, the brand recently released a few products like Poise (a woman’s health supplement), B-Complex, and a Calcium / Magnesium supplement, but you knew more was coming. More is now here, and it’s here in a big way:

Introducing the Core Lifeline Series

Core Nutritionals Lifeline Series

Introducing the Core Lifeline series! With Doug Miller at the helm, this is an unsurprising move — but wait until you see the dosages in these supplements!

The Core Lifeline Series is CORE Nutritionals’ latest foray into general health, but with expert dosing that attack specific health and organ issues. They’re releasing with the following five supplements:

The product names are self-explanatory, save for Soothe, which is a comprehensive inflammation mediator. They’ll be covered below, with specific articles detailing the formulas to come in the future (starting with Gut).

If you haven’t noticed from our CORE Nutritionals news page, this brand has been keeping stores busy, but you can sign up for our alerts so that you don’t miss what’s coming next:

Below are the labels and brief descriptions of the Core Lifeline Series supplements, and they’re all full of trademarked, research-backed ingredients:

  • Core GUT

Core GUT is labeled as a comprehensive gut microbiome support supplement with pre-, pro-, and post-biotics.

    Core Nutritionals Gut

Core Nutritionals Gut has prebiotics and probiotics, but have you heard of post-biotics?! Time to learn about tributyrin!

This is a five capsule serving size, which brings more than most competing supplements, and is meant to be used daily with a meal. Inside, you’ll get:

    Prebiotics, probiotics, fiber, and postbiotics!

    • A 30 Billion CFU Core Probiotic blend with:
      • 16.5 billion CFU Lactobacillus blend
      • 8.5 billion CFU Bifidobacterium blend
      • 5 billion CFU of saccharomyces boulardii
    • 1000 milligrams of CoreBiome, yielding 300mg tributyrin
    • 1000 milligrams of Sunfiber Guar Fiber
    • 150 milligram Digestive Enzyme Blend, consisting of protease, lactase, amylase, and lipase

    A “post-biotic” named tributyrin

We’ve recently become fascinated with tributyrin, which is a variant of butyrate, a short-chain fatty acid that supplies the digestive tract with fuel that improves healthy colon function and far more. It can fortify intestinal walls, help fight disease, facilitate electrolyte absorption, and has anti-obesity, anti-inflammatory effects.

The probiotic blend is fully disclosed and uses multiple families with multiple strains, providing an incredibly well-rounded batch of healthy bacteria to facilitate excellent gut health.

Sunfiber promotes healthy digestive support without the bloating or gas you get with other fibers, and can even reduce the glycemic index of other foods you’re eating, as it helps blunt postprandial insulin spikes.

    Core GUT

Now this is how you do a gut health supplement. Have you tried tributyrin yet? If not, and you have any gut issues, then get this on your list!

Finally, CORE customers are also no stranger to digestive enzymes, which are added to many of their protein powders. These enzymes will aid in the digestion of different types of foods, including proteins (from protease), lactose / milk sugars (from lactase), starches / carbs (from amylase), and fats (from lipase).

An excellent start to this series! Read more in our article titled Core GUT: Prebiotic, Probiotic, and POSTbiotics from Core Nutritionals.

  • Core SOOTHE

Core SOOTHE is the brand’s anti-inflammatory supplement that is once again dosed in several capsules – six to be taken throughout the day. This one brings back one of our favorite ingredients from the 2000s, that disappeared from the scene for no good reason whatsoever:

    Core SOOTHE

Core SOOTHE brings back cissus, which we couldn’t be more excited about. There could even be weight loss benefits here!

    • Cissus Quadrangularis Extract (5% ketosterones) – 1.6 grams
    • Boswellia (65% boswellic acids) – 1.5 grams
    • Curcumin (95% curcuminoids) – 1 gram
    • Gingever Ginger Extract (10%) – 180 milligrams
    • Phyto-C Vitamin C blend – 150 milligrams
    • Bioperine Black Pepper Extract – 10 milligrams

The three things to note are the return of cissus quadrangularis, the huge doses, and the strong standardizations!

It’s been far too long since we’ve written about cissus, which is great at healing injuries (including injured tendons and ligaments) and even has research demonstrating faster broken bone healing! The ingredient needs high doses yet doesn’t taste good, which is possibly why it disappeared from the scene, but we truly believe it’s worth it – especially when you can split Core SOOTHE up into three capsule doses 2x/day.

Meanwhile, boswellia is consistently used as a potent anti-inflammatory ingredient used to combat issues ranging from allergies to osteoarthritis. We’ve always loved the ingredient, but don’t normally see it dosed this high.

The same goes for curcumin, which has more benefits than can be counted, but often suffers from low dosing and/or poor bioavailability. Both of those problems are resolved here by CORE, who dosed it twice as high as most companies, and then added Bioperine black pepper extract, which has been shown to improve curcumin’s bioavailability by 2000%!

Adding icing on the cake, we have a strong ginger extract, which is normally used as a dietary and GI soothing supplement, but has anti-inflammatory effects of its own that can help reduce muscle pain.

Finally, Phyto-C is added to yield not just natural antioxidant-rich sources of vitamin C, but supporting polyphenols and flavonoids as well.

If you’re into “joint supplements” but feeling a bit disappointed lately, then Core SOOTHE is a must-try. Learn more in our article titled Core SOOTHE: Comprehensive Anti-Inflammatory Supplement.

  • Core HEART

    Core HEART

Core HEART brings more than just heart health support – we see some immunity ingredients as well!

Next, things get a bit more serious, focusing on cardiovascular health in Core HEART. After kicking things off with a properly-dosed Vitamin D3 / K2 / Zinc combination, CORE hits numerous parts of the cardiovascular system with yet another six capsule supplement.

Blood flow improvements come from hawthorn berry and curcumin (which is still well-dosed at 500 milligrams), while lipid level improvements are driven by bergamot and red yeast rice.

One of our favorite immunity ingredients of the year is included in olive leaf extract, but the multi-faceted plant extract is really here for oleuropein’s prevention of LDL oxidation. It serves many benefits, and was in Core POISE for women’s health as well (where we discussed it in terms of thyroid health).

But it’s not a heart health supplement without the powerful antioxidant coenzyme Q10, which is cardioprotective by preventing lipid peroxidation, improves endothelial function, can limit blood clotting, and can also reduce blood pressure.

Once again it’s amplified with Bioperine black pepper extract, and we have a cardiovascular health supplement that’s very well-rounded and likely provides some immunity protection while we’re at it.

Keep Crushing It with Good Organ Health

CORE Poise PricePlow

Core POISE was such a hit that it was only a matter of time before we saw more formulas like it!

After Core POISE (which could also be moved into this series) was launched, it was clear that Core had something to add to the surge of general health supplements we’ve been seeing. Athletes and bodybuilders do care about their overall health, and with years of preaching the good word, Doug Miller was just the right guy to launch a serious health support line.

In the Core Lifeline series, we’re seeing some major doses, and they’re all fully disclosed. We’re also seeing some unique ingredients that haven’t been used before, and the return of other compounds we’ve been missing.

Incredible new lineup from an incredible brand that’s already had us busy — sign up for Core Nutritionals alerts so you see the rest on PricePlow:
