Today, they circled the wagons and set the next phase in motion, by expanding their Natural Series with a new sucralose-free variation: EAA Natural now has a flavor!
Introducing NutraBio’s Natural Strawberry Lemonade
Not EAA Natural though — they’ve also added it to the NutraBio Natural BCAA as well!

A formula that stands on its own and can be taken on its own
Adding unflavored EAA Natural to another drink was a great start, but its formula is easily good enough to stand on its own during a training session.
Both of these are powered by stevia and monk fruit extract, the latter of which is becoming quite popular in the natural sweetener world, despite its higher price (we feel it’s worth it).
Based upon the Strawberry Lemon Bomb flavor?!
It’s our hope that this flavor leans on the incredible Strawberry Lemon Bomb flavor system, which is with NutraBio’s “standard” sports series of supplements that includes sucralose. Over the last couple of months, this flavor system has become PricePlow’s #1 recommended sports supplement flavor system for those who are OK with artificial sweeteners. It’s nearly perfect – not too sweet, not too tart, no aftertaste, and never lasts too long in the mouth.
If Michael Perez, NutraBio’s flavorist, came even 10% within this flavor while using Stevia to make the new Natural Strawberry Lemonade flavor here, then we can already tell you this is a flavor to be excited about.
The trick is using the strawberry flavor to bring the front-end sweetness, but then using the citric acid, malic acid, and lemonade flavor to cover up the fermented amino acids that come with these huge NutraBio based formulas. It worked so very well with Strawberry Lemon Bomb that they had to try it in the Natural Series, and bring stevia along for the natural sweetness!
No added cane sugar in these!
As you can see in the EAA Natural label posted above and below, EAA Natural only has 1g carbohydrate (and there’s 0g listed for BCAA Natural!) which is fantastic because it means that no cane sugar needed to be added to the formula!
This is unlike the monstrously loaded formulas of NutraBio Natural PRE Workout and Natural Intra Blast, both of which have 5g natural cane sugar added to help with sweetening. While EAA Natural’s formula isn’t as big and tough to mask as Intra Blast, it’s definitely no slouch of a profile, so we think this is a great play.
On the other hand, we do concede that the cane sugar in Natural Pre / Intra Blast actually help performance, but many people would still love to train without it. Either way, those 5g carbs will be burnt in about two minutes of training, so we’re not worried – we’re just pointing out that NutraBio’s flavoring is getting so good they can rely on flavor, stevia, and monk fruit extract alone!
NutraBio’s Keeping it coming
We’re glad that the Natural fans got a bit of extra love here throughout all of the recent releases (on top of Strawberry Lemon Bomb there was also Grape Berry Crush last week).
