Cellucor C4 ELITE? Is the C4 Successor Coming?

Cellucor C4 Elite

Is it finally happening?

Update: On December 11, 2014, the new Cellucor C4 formula for the G4 (4th Generation) was announced. Click the link to read about it.

It’s now our belief that nothing will come of the trademark C4 Elite, but we’re leaving this post here just in case. C4 Sport is the low-end Wal-Mart version, while just “C4” is the new 4th Generation formula for the supplement retailers.

Heads up, Cellucor fans and C4 Extreme users! Our Google Alert just buzzed us about a few potential new product names out there: Cellucor C4 Elite, Cellucor C4 Sport, and C4X.

Three products seems like a lot, so we’re guessing they still need to figure out the product name or two. But we can’t say this is totally unexpected – even though Cellucor currently holds the best-selling pre workout supplement on the market in C4 Extreme, it is slowly slipping, as users have been clamoring for stronger workout supplements. This is also reflected in its slip in our top ten preworkout supplements list.

NEON Sport Volt is a suitable replacement from the same guys

One thing that many people don’t know is that Cellucor is owned by another company, Nutrabolt, in Bryan, TX (not far from the PricePlow Texas office). Nutrabolt is the umbrella organization for three companies: Cellucor, NEON Sport, and Royal Sport. A more intense pre workout from these is Neon Sport’ Volt, so if you’re a fan of this company’s products, check out Volt, you won’t be disappointed.

Guesses and Opinions on these new products

First off, let’s just say that this is all from a Google Alert, not from Cellucor. So we don’t know if anything is going to happen at all here. It could be nothing.

But the timing is about right for a new pre workout, and Cellucor would be smart to branch off in two directions: athletic performance (such as from C4 Sport), and aesthetic performance (for bodybuilders and the like), in C4 Elite. That is our guess, with absolutely no other information to go on.

Meanwhile, C4X has come up, but we have no clue how that’d fit in. Three products seems like a bit much… Cellucor could pull it off, and we don’t know what is planned at all, but sometimes too much choice is a bad thing. They could just be sitting on some names.

Any C4 Elite Ingredients?

Nope, we don’t know anything yet. If this does happen, we’ll update this blog with an ingredient profile, and as always, give you the full analysis on the profile. Then hopefully, we can get to the next part…

Beta Tests and Reviews?

Cellucor doesn’t always do beta testing on new products, but if they do, we’ll do our best to get in on the action. We’ll also push to get a few of our power users signed up for Cellucor alerts in on the action, but obviously, no promises there. The product might just get released…

What is the release date?

As of writing (late September 2014), no C4 Elite release date has been announced… if the product is coming at all. We’ll update this post when more information hits, so stay tuned!
