Intro and Day 1 Thoughts
Today was my first day taking Alpha Pro Nutrition UPLOAD.
I just came off reviewing Finaflex STIMUL8 RTD and nothing really can compare to its enormous load of stimulants, so my tolerance is high and I’ll likely need to use more than a scoop of this later on.
I took one scoop of UPLOAD about 20 minutes before my leg training session. Once I got to the gym, I could feel the affects of the beta-alanine kick in with some tingling but not overdone. The taste of UPLOAD was great, they only have one flavor as of now (watermelon) and it tasted like watermelon. There were a few sentiments after mixing that were at the bottom.
Overall my training was excellent, I went to a Navy base gym which had some different equipment so I tried a couple of different machines out. The workout took about 1 ½ hours to complete and really felt the leg doms kick in.
Training – Mountain Dog Training Program
Right now I’m in the middle of a 12 Mountain Dog training program developed by John Meadows.
I did hit a personal best on the leg press with 6 reps of 700lbs and felt pretty good.
My overall impression of UPLOAD is that it’s a good preworkout with a few positives and negatives. I will eventually change doses to 1 ½ and eventually to 2 scoops.
- Positives: Taste, Increased Energy and beta-alanine tingles.
- Negatives: Proprietary blend, little pump and focus.
