AML Power Rep: Boost Workouts with Peak ATP and More!

AML Power Rep

Power Rep is a unique stackable pre workout capsule from Advanced Molecular Labs powered by the new wave muscle builder PeakATP.

Sometimes when you’re looking for the perfect pre workout stack, your current pre workout takes care of most of the essentials like citrulline, caffeine, and alpha gpc. But many of those pre workouts don’t have some of the new cutting edge, science-based top muscle builders that have recently gained popularity in the industry.

One of the newest muscle building and endurance boosting supplements around is Peak ATP. Now we’ve seen Peak ATP before in a few other products, but not packaged in quite this way. Enter in Advanced Molecular Labs with their new pre workout add-on Power Rep, which includes three great ingredients that aren’t in most other pre workouts.

We love “workout toppers”. Products like 360 Pump for extra strength or Antaeus Labs Psyche for a bit of energy are great to get into the cabinet when you have some extra cash, ready for that perfect moment. AML Power Rep could be our next one though.

Power Rep Ingredients

Instead of giving you just a straightforward Peak ATP product and charging a ridiculous amount of money (cough MuscleTech cough cough). AML also adds two less commonly used stimulants to provide additional energy and focus.

Note: Doses listed below are for 1 full serving (2 capsules)

  • Peak ATP®  (450mg)

    AML Power Rep Ingredients

Power Rep includes the full clinical dose of Peak ATP as well as solid doses of Advantra Z and TeaCrine.

Peak ATP® is a patented form of ATP, chemically known as Adenosine 5’-Triphosphate Disodium. It’s been developed to enhance athletic performance and overall body composition by strengthening muscular contractions as well as improving blood flow and recovery.

Supplemental ATP is nothing new, but the vast majority of these forms aren’t readily absorbed by the body. Peak ATP®, however, has been shown in clinical studies to be incredibly bioavailable.[1]

In the body, it acts like a complete fuel source for the body, and increases a muscle’s ability to contract with less fatigue.[2] Additionally, Peak ATP® helps offset fatigue during a workout, improve body composition and lean mass, and even increase vasodilation (a.k.a. PUMPS).[3,4]

This really is a unique ingredient and we’re glad to see some other companies aside from the Iovate family starting to include it.

You can read more about this ingredient in our specific Peak ATP article.

  • Advantra-Z® (100mg)

When ephedra was banned way back when, supplement formulators began to look for a new “go-to” ingredient that could accelerate fat loss and boost energy. What they came up with was Advantra Z®. Advantra Z® is a patented Citrus Aurantium bitter orange extract (30% Synephrine). Now, don’t worry, unlike ephedra, Advantra Z, a.k.a. P-synephrine, has been shown to be safe, and effective, by numerous studies.

How is it effective? Wel, Advantra Z® boosts energy levels while also decreasing fatigue and the rate of perceived exertion![5,6,7] Furthermore, synephrine also enhances fat burning due to its ability to induce lipolysis. Basically, this allows the body to use fat as a source of energy during workouts, sparing muscle glycogen for the really intense work.

    Where’d Synephrine go lately?!

Unfortunately, fewer and fewer pre workouts seem to have it anymore, and it’s great for both the energy and fat burning side of things.

Case in point, it was in Cellucor’s best-selling C4 Extreme pre workout, but is no longer in the new Cellucor C4 Gen4 formula. If you want to bring synephrine back to your Cellucor pre workout, this is what you’d add (although the new C4 does have the next ingredient).

  • Teacrine™ (100mg)

    AML Female

Advantra Z isn’t just for energy, it also helps accelerate fat loss by inducing lipolysis.

Our last ingredient is yet another trademarked ingredient. Teacrine™ is a patented extract that contains 98% concentrated theacrine. For those of you unfamiliar with theacrine, it’s another xanthine-like molecule that is chemically similar to caffeine and possesses many of the same benefits.

The difference between the two is that theacrine doesn’t have a tolerance build up like caffeine notoriously does.[8] In simple terms, higher and higher doses aren’t needed to keep seeing the same effects, like you would with caffeine. Plus, there’s some other advantages to using theacrine. It reduces oxidative stress in the body when used for at least seven consecutive days,[9] and elevates dopamine levels in the brain, similar to caffeine.[10]

At 100mg, this is a pretty serious dose, and far more than the smattering we’ve seen in other products. If you want to feel the real effects of this new compound, AML Power Rep is where it’s at.

We also discuss this ingredient in further depth in our Theacrine article.

If using solo, AML recommends taking 2 capsules before heading to the gym. However, if you’re stacking Power Rep with another pre workout, consume your pre workout about 30 minutes before hitting the weights and then consume Power Rep immediately before beginning your training session.

Don’t forget about AML’s stim-based pre workout!

If you need a bombastic pre workout, Advanced Molecular Labs Pre Workout is absolutely loaded!

AML Power Rep Stack

Whether you choose to use AML’s pre workout or your own, make sure to add Power Rep for the ULTIMATE POWER STACK.

Advanced Molecular Labs may be a little known company, but Power Rep is an extremely unique, well-dosed product that’s sure to draw the attention of quite a few people, us included. The overall reviews on Peak ATP have been incredibly popular, and Power Rep is the latest to include the full clinical dose shown to elicit the greatest gains from the powerful patented muscle builder.

Will we start see Peak ATP work its way into more pre workouts? We can only hope. Until then, you’ll have to pick up a bottle of Power Rep or one of the many other Peak ATP products and stack it with your current pre workout.
