Well, the brand has been rather busy since its debut on the PP blog, slowly releasing products over the course of 2017, and the latest one really grabbed our attention — Genius Test. It’s an all-natural testosterone booster packing a full 1g of KSM-66 Ashwagandha!

We’ve got more info on the massively-loaded product below, but first, take a moment to check the best deal and sign up for alerts from PricePlow:

Genius Test Ingredients

As we’ve come to expect from The Genius Brand, all of their products are transparently labeled, and incredibly well dosed. Genius Test is no exception, as you’re about to see…

Note: Doses listed below are based on 1 full serving (i.e. 4 capsules).

  • KSM-66 Ashwagandha (1g)

    Genius Test Ingredients

Genius Test is all about male hormonal optimization and combatting the factors that could inhibit natural testosterone production

    WHOA! Check out that dose!

KSM-66 is the premier ashwagandha extract on the market, and Genius has packed in a serious dose of the powerful adaptogen into each serving of its test booster. Aside from its stress-combatting qualities, ashwagandha has been shown to improve semen quality by increasing circulating levels of Luteinizing Hormone (LH), as well as lowering levels of Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH).[1,2]

Moreover, Ashwagandha also helps reduce cortisol production. In case you weren’t aware, cortisol is an incredibly catabolic (muscle-wasting) hormone that can stunt testosterone production and limit your capacity to build muscle.[3,4]

We’ve seen this at 600mg – which feels incredible – but have never tried a whole gram every day. Right off the bat we’re in for some good times.

  • PrimaVie Shilajit (500mg)

    PrimaVie Shilajit Logo

PrimaVie Shilajit is an ultra-high quality extract of the ayurvedic remedy shown to boost testosterone production and muscle repair.

PrimaVie is a patented, top quality extract of Himalayan Shilajit standardized to 50% Fulvic Acid, a powerful compound that improves the bioavailability of all the other ingredients in Genius Test.[5,6]

But, that’s not the sole reason PrimaVie is included — Shilajit is a powerful testosterone boosting ingredient in its own right and has been well documented to enhance testosterone secretion and stimulation.[7] Additional Shilajit research has noted the compound can improve the pliability of muscles as well as their ability to repair itself following intense exercise.[8]

If you’ve been following natural testosterone boosters lately, Shilajit is definitely one ingredient that’s trending – and the feedback has been phenomenal.

  • Fenugreek Extract (500mg)

    Genius Test Orange

Genius Test the support you need for optimal health, energy, strength, and body composition.

Fenugreek has long been used as a component in natty test-boosters. Research shows it can improve testosterone levels as well as decrease in body fat.[9] The mechanism by which Fenugreek appears to work is as an alpha-5 reductase inhibitor.

This helps prevent testosterone converting to dihydrotestosterone levels (DHT), keeping you with your test and not with that hair-loss-inducing DHT!

  • Quercetin (250mg)

Quercetin is a powerful flavonoid / antioxidant found in onions, apples, broccoli, tea and many other foods. Most research conducted on the ingredient highlights its effects on improving performance or combating free radicals. But, more recent research indicates that Quercetin may help improve testosterone levels too.

UGT2B17 is an enzyme in the body that converts testosterone into testosterone glucuronide, which is then excreted from the body by the kidneys. Which means that you’re effectively peeing out testosterone — lowering your T-levels!

An interesting piece of research shows that red wine inhibits the ability of UGT2B17 to convert testosterone into testosterone glucuronide. Researchers then identified quercetin as the specific compound in red wine that provided the most significant UGT2B17.[10]

  • Diindolylmethane (250mg)

    Genius Test Benefits

The long list of benefits you’ll receive from Genius Test.

Diindolylmethane, DIM for short, is the primary active component of indole-3-carbinol, I3C. Essentially, it’s a more direct or refined way to get the goods out of the plant. It’s found in broccoli, cauliflower, and several other cruciferous veggies and lauded for its ability to block estrogen production and inhibit the aromatase enzyme.

DIM reduces estrogen levels in a number of ways including: stimulating Phase I enzymes[11], activating AhR to produce more “good estrogen” and less “bad estrogen”[12] and boost 2-hydroxyestrone (good estrogen).[13]

  • LJ100 (100mg)

Genius continues to roll out the goods with the best quality Longjack extract available LJ100 It’s the first commercially-trusted, scientifically validated, Longjack extract verified to be a true 100:1 standardization of Longjack that contains 40% Glycosaponins, 28% Eurypeptides, 30% Polysaccharides, and Eurycomanone.

Originally created by HP Ingredients[14], LJ100 has been extensively studied and proven to enhance body composition, hormone regulation, and sexual health.[15,16,17] If you’re ever going to try LongJack, it really should only be LJ100!

You can get even more about this ingredient in our LJ100 post, or in our large-scale tongkat ali post, where we really delve into the research.

  • Boron Citrate (10mg)

    Genius Test Highlights

Genius Test only packs the best all natural ingredients to support optimal testosterone production and overall well-being.

Most know boron as an essential mineral necessary for optimal bone growth, but it’s also been studied for its effects on testosterone levels. In fact, research has shown that boron supplementation may help increase free testosterone levels and decrease estrogen levels too[18]

One study in particular showed that consuming 10mg of boron (the same dose here!) significantly increased active (free) testosterone levels and decreased estradiol after only seven days of use! In total, study participants saw a 28% increase in free testosterone and a 39% reduction in free estrogen levels.[19]

This is all in addition to boron’s regular roles in the body cognition, bone maintenance, learning, etc.[18,19,20] Suffice it to say, this is one mineral you don’t want to be lacking!

On the Formula

”We honestly were laughing at testosterone boosters… It’s common knowledge, you can’t boost T-Levels anywhere near the stratosphere of prescribed testosterone and yet “rapidly increase muscle mass” and phrases like that are on seemingly every label! Prohormones are different of course but in terms of natural test boosters, the category was ruined.

We went for male optimization. Better well-being, natural energy, etc., etc. The goal is to have a positive impact on all aspects that may hinder testosterone production but at no point will you mistake this for something it’s not. Heavily dosed to have a true impact but realistic at the same time.”

— Genius Brand HQ

We love the honesty! It’s of course not a prohormone or exogenous testosterone injection, but as far as natural ingredients go, this is definitely one worth trying.

Dosing

Genius Stack

Looking to burn fat and build muscle? Genius has you covered with their comprehensive stack.

Take two capsules with a meal twice daily. On training days, consume one dose approximately one hour before you train and the second dose later on that day (if you train in the AM). If you train at night, then take your first dose in the morning.

On non-training days (who needs those?), take one dose in the morning and the second dose at night, i.e. one dose each with breakfast and dinner.

Takeaway

Natural testosterone boosters catch a lot of flack around the industry for being pretty ineffective. That’s primarily because most products are underdosed or using ingredients really vetted through research.

Genius Test, however, has included only proven testosterone-boosting ingredients, in their proper doses to create an all-natural testosterone boosting supplement that should deliver exactly what users are seeking — higher natural testosterone levels!
