Primeval Labs Vasogorge Black Modernizes the Nitric Oxide Pill

Primeval Labs Vasogorge Black

Primeval Labs has re-launched Vasorgoge as Vasogorge Black, bringing glycerol and VASO-6 to capsule form!

As if Primeval Labs fans needed that much more pump given the explosive formulas of Mega Pre and Mega Pre Black, the intensifying and upgrading of Primeval Labs’ supplement line is nowhere near complete.

Last month in the blog post linked above, Primeval Labs went to the “dark side” by releasing an “energized” formula of Mega Pre, which was masterfully formulated from all angles.

But what if you’re the Primeval follower who just wants to pop a few capsules before training, want a solid evening workout option, or want to get even crazier with your stim-based pre?

Then Primeval has a six-capsule behemoth here that will enhance nitric oxide for epic pumps, prevent nitric oxide degradation, and provide cell hydration for that “hydration pump” if taken with enough water. Further, even one of the inactive ingredients should be of benefit!

Primeval Labs is well-known as a company built on great taste and even greater pumps. Today we’re clearly going to talk about the latter. First check PricePlow’s deals below, sign up for our Primeval Labs news and review alerts, and then let’s dig in:

Note: This is an upgrade to the original Vasogorge supplement, which has been discontinued and is only available at a couple of stores at time of writing.

The premise behind the product is to enhance muscle pumps during exercise, specifically weight training.

Vasogorge Black Ingredients

The following ingredients are provided in a six capsule serving (there are 25 total servings in the 150 capsule bottle):

  • 1.5g GlycerPump

    Primeval Labs Vasogorge Black Ingredients

Three ingredients in Vasogorge Black to provide both the water pump and a prolonged nitric oxide pump.

Vasogorge Black starts with a hefty dose of 1.5g of Glycerpump. This is a trademarked form of glycerol that provides the cell-saturating, muscle-pumping benefits of glycerol without causing your standard powdered pre-workout to clump.

The name of the game here is cell hydration. In studies using very large doses of glycerol, you reach a state of “hyperhydration”.[1-3] But before that, it’s rapidly absorbed by the body and gets distributed between fluid compartments before its metabolism in the liver and kidneys.

When consumed with enough fluid — which should be done with Vasogorge Black — it actually increases osmotic pressure and your body can retain that large volume of fluid! This then leads to the expansion of those fluid spaces in the body, thus creating the “hyperhydration” discussed above. Cell hydration during training, especially for hard-working weight trainees and endurance athletes, should assist with performance.

FYI: The other “benefits” of GlycerPump

    GlycerPump Logo

GlycerPump is a new, stable from of 65% glycerol powder made by Pinnacle Ingredients.

While those “anti-clumping” benefits aren’t needed in a capsule-based product here, we are definitely on the GlycerPump train when it comes to using glycerol, especially in powders. Compared to the competition, this form is clearly out-performing its peers, at least when looking at those tubs of pre workout.

As you can tell, this is also what’s driving the large six-capsule serving size, since a lot of room will be taken up here.

  • 300mg VASO-6

Now it’s time to get us some nitric oxide amplification. Why? Because that will get us a vasodilation effect, yielding an increase in blood flow, enhanced glucose and nutrient uptake, drive ATP production, and even potentially improved muscle protein synthesis. But it’s usually the “increase in blood flow” everyone is shooting for, because that means pumps when resistance training!

    VASO-6 Vasodilation

Charts like this always make us put our skeptical hat on, but after enough use, we’re believers!

How to do it? There’s many ways, but Primeval Labs is going with the latest, greatest, and hottest of nitric oxide boosters, VASO-6.

Sold by Compound Solutions, VASO-6 is an extract of grape seed and green tea that activates nitric oxide levels. There’s a rather lengthy patent on this ingredient,[4] but the general gist is that there have been six constituents (hence the VASO-6) found to improve endothelial function.

Of those six constituents, the patent discusses a few forms of the NO-boosting, myostatin-inhibiting epicatechin, which is very promising since we’re big fans of epicatechin for its myriad of health benefits.[5] Specifically here, we’re talking about galloylated epicatechins in the patent here.[4]

More to come on VASO-6? Stay tuned…

Rumor has it that some new research is coming from Compound Solutions and we’ll be able to give some more data, so sign up for our Primeval Labs news alerts to get on our newsletter and get notified when it comes!

  • 300mg L-Norvaline

    Vasogorge Black

    Bloodflow DOMINATED!

Finally (but not finally – wait until you see the inactive ingredients), we have 300mg of L-Norvaline. This is a derivative of the BCAA (branched chain amino acid) valine, which inhibits enzymes that degrade arginine levels.[6] This ultimately keeps both arginine and citrulline levels higher, for longer.

We call this “playing defense” — The main purpose of L-Norvaline it to keep nitric oxide levels high to enhance that nitric oxide pump during exercise. VASO-6 is “on offense”, norvaline is on defense. We’ve never written about these two combined together, so pump junkies may be interested in checking out Vasogorge Black for that single reason! Not too many companies have gone in this direction… but out come the copycats when Primeval Labs does something, so don’t be surprised if you the combo more often.

    “L-NorPrimevaline Labs”?

It’s clear that Primeval Labs loves L-Norvaline. 300mg in the full dose of Vasogorge Black here, 300mg in the full dose of the stim-free Mega Pre, and 300mg in the full dose of Mega Pre Black.

    Mega Pre Black

Need the stims? Mega Pre Black is one of the best formulations we’ve seen in a long time!

With that said, if you’re considering stacking both Mega Pre Black and Vasogorge Black at full-doses, you’ll be getting 600mg L-Norvaline, and this is a dose we’ve never tried nor seen sold before. So we’d suggest one scoop of Mega Pre Black in this stack if going down that road.

As a note, there’s also 99mg calcium added here (yielding 8% daily value), which we’ll never complain about (we love our minerals), especially to those of you who have undertaken dairy-free diets and probably need more.

Dosage and Timing

It’s six capsules, but if you’re on a stretch budget we could foresee the “feels” start at about 3-4 capsules.

Primeval Labs says to take your dosage 15-20 minutes before working out, which sounds good to us. Oftentimes we say “30 minutes” but ain’t nobody got time for that — it’s time to train!

While Mega Pre Black was the bigger jaw-dropper, we have to say that this is another supplement that’s been well-formulated and keeps it fresh and strong. We don’t see too many quality glycerol-based capsules, so if you’re digging for that, then this is going to provide that… but a whole lot more thanks to the NO boosters.

Word is that Primeval Labs as plans to release at least one other product on their “Black Series” line before the turn of the new year. Keep your eyes peeled to your Primeval Labs alerts on PricePlow. There will be more good deals, new flavors, sales, and products coming through the pipeline.
