Primeval Labs Electrolyte is a simple, great tasting electrolyte formula that will give a boost prior to, during, and after training. Each serving (2.6 grams) provides a quality dose of essential electrolytes, which includes calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, sodium, and potassium.
During exercise or increased exertion, electrolytes are lost through sweat. This may not seem like a big deal, however, with as little as a 2% loss in hydration can lead to severe cramping, a decline in performance, and can lead to altered central nervous system function.[1]
Primeval Labs Electrolyte is a great source of electrolytes and a great source to hydrate during and after exercise. Read about this great product below but first sign up for PricePlow’s Primeval Labs news.

Calcium, phosphorus, and potassium come from Calci-K, which is a trademarked form of calcium potassium phosphate citrate. So just what is CALCI-K? Let’s get into it.
What is Calci-K?
Calci-K, developed by Albion Human Nutrition, is a patented hybrid of calcium and potassium electrolytes. Both are crucial in helping maintain proper hydration levels in the body and ensure optimal muscle contraction.
Calcium is required to form and maintain strong bones, as well as ensure muscles fire properly. Potassium is another essential electrolyte involved in the function of muscles, specifically the heart and nerves. Low levels of potassium can lead to muscle cramps, fatigue, and slower reflexes and, as an athlete, these are not something you want occurring during workouts or athletic performances.[2]
Phosphorus, which is the second most abundant mineral in the body, works with B vitamins to help support kidney function, and, like the first couple ingredients we covered, muscle contractions, too. Additionally, phosphorus helps maintain a normal heartbeat and supports adenosine triphosphate (ATP) production.
Magnesium, another abundant mineral in the body, helps regulate nerve and muscle function, which is a common theme for Primeval Labs Electrolyte. Magnesium promotes stable blood sugar levels and supports immune system function.
Sodium, from pink Himalayan salt, helps the body maintain fluid balance, regulates blood pressure and blood volume, and is required for proper muscle function. Salt consists of sodium and chloride, and it’s important for normal physiological function. In athletes, high sweat rates results in loss of both fluids and sodium. Fluid replacement with hypotonic solutions, a solution that has lower solute concentration compared to another solutio, leads to incomplete rehydration and possible complications such as hyponatremia, decreased performance, heat cramps, or other heat-related illnesses.[3]
Each of the ingredients used in Primeval Labs Electrolyte have a common goal — that is to assist you before, during and after your workout by promoting proper muscle function and maintaining optimal hydration and electrolyte levels in the body.

As an athlete we are all looking for that ability to get one more rep, one more lap, one more set. You can go back and forth to the water fountain, fill our bottles with water but as we stated above that will only lead you down a bad road of cramps or worse. Primeval Labs Electrolyte will give you the necessary electrolytes and hydration ingredients an athlete needs to get that last rep, lap or set.
