Cutler Cognition Ingredients

A brief explanation is coming. For now, feast your eyes on this perfect “small coffee topper” that comes in two capsules:

  • Acetyl L-Carnitine – 500mg

    Cutler Nutrition Cognition

Cutler Nutrition Cognition brings a solid blend of our favorite nootropic ingredients, but not too much caffeine to rock your day!

Acetyl L-carnitine is one of the most well-known nootropics on the market, touting a wide variety of neuroprotective, neurotrophic, and antidepressive effects.[1] This amino acid derivative helps the body burn fatty acids by shuttling them to the mitochondria,[2] creating energy that has proven useful in terms of cognition. Research has shown that carnitine can improve brain synaptic response,[3] enhance learning ability,[3] and help defend against decline in brain functioning![4]

  • Alpha-GPC 50% – 450mg

Alpha-GPC is a phospholipid that contains large amounts of choline,[5] which is used by the body to create acetylcholine, perhaps the most crucial neurotransmitter in world of brain and motor functioning.[6]

Since this stuff helps increase levels of what’s known as the “learning neurotransmitter”, one would expect it to hold some pretty powerful benefits. Spoiler alert – it does! Alpha-GPC has been shown to increase acetylcholine levels in the frontal cortex of the brain (the area of the brain responsible for motor control),[7] while also proving capable of improving memory formation and long-term cognitive health.[8,9]

  • L-Tyrosine – 250mg

A rather unique amino acid, tyrosine differs from most other “muscle-building” amino acids. It is essential in creating several important neurotransmittersdopamine, adrenaline, and noradrenaline.[10] Dopamine is known as the “feel-good” neurotransmitter, while the other two are used by the body to handle stress and stressful situations. Understanding this, it should come as no surprise that tyrosine can improve mental performance in stressful situations.[11]

  • Caffeine Anhydrous – 120mg

    Cutler Nutrition Cognition Ingredients

Cutler Cognition is an energy nootropic that doesn’t rely too heavily on caffeine!

This one needs no introduction – caffeine is without a doubt the best source of energy out there! However, in addition to providing a bit of a kick, it turns out it offers quite a bit in terms of cognition, as well! One study from 2008 saw caffeine increase perceptual memory, albeit at the cost of worsening motor memory when compared to placebo.[11] This essentially provides evidence that caffeine wakes you up and makes you more aware of your surroundings, and when combined with the other focus-enhancing ingredients in Cognition, yields a truly powerful brain-boosting experience!

While the dose is not as crazy as many other products, the product still packs a solid punch due to the Dynamine, Neurofactor, and theobrombine below. This also allows some of us to have just a dash of coffee alongside!

  • L-Theanine – 100mg

Theanine is an amino acid found in green tea that has a relaxing yet non-sedative effect once ingested. Taken in conjunction with stimulants, it helps promote smooth energy, as well as intense focus![12]

  • Dynamine – 75mg

Dynamine is a relatively new (and freshly GRAS!) neuroactive stimulant on the market. It’s quite effective – it provides a quick-hitting jolt of energy, but settles into a nice long-lasting euphoric energy as it wears off. Being able to stimulate neurotransmitter receptors, this stuff brings a bit of focus and mood-boosting to the table,[13] as well!

  • Neurofactor – 50mg

    Compound Solutions Dynamine GRAS

Dynamine is now Generally Recognized as Safe and can be sold into more stores!

Neurofactor️, a patented form of coffee fruit extract, is yet another novel but effective ingredient within the industry. This innovative compound has proven capable of increasing brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF),[14] a protein imperative for enhancing overall cognition.[15]

  • Theobromine 99% – 25%

A cousin to caffeine, the stimulant theobromine takes action specifically in the heart – research shows that this ingredient increases heart rate in a dose-dependent manner.[16] This may not sound all that encouraging at first, but considering that a slightly raised heart rate releases adrenaline and other euphoric neurotransmitters, you can see how this fits neatly on a label looking to give you energy and focus![17]

  • Huperzine-A 1% – 0.75mg

We alluded to the importance of acetylcholine earlier – it’s pretty vital for elevating cognitive health and mental performance. In order to protect acetylcholine activity, huperzine-A steps in on defense! This stuff inhibits the enzymes that break down acetylcholine within the body,[18] which in turn keeps those brain-boosting effects lingering around a bit longer than usual!

Conclusion – Brain power fit for legends!
