Carnosyn® Beta Alanine (1.6g)
Commonly seen in pre workouts or post workouts, Beta Alanine is the ultimate in endurance-boosting compounds. Once ingested, this compound binds to histidine to form the powerful intracellular buffer carnosine.
In skeletal muscle, carnosine helps prevent lactic acid accumulation which offsets that nasty “burning” sensation that sets into working muscles during extended sets. Ultimately, this translates into greater endurance, power, and strength with less fatigue which directly increase both anaerobic and aerobic performance![4,5,6]
Here’s why we love having this here: a lot of pre workouts also have ~1.6-2g worth, but the daily dose for the clinical gains referenced is 3.2g or greater. So if you’re getting half in with your multivitamin, and your pre workout has the other half, then you are set for the day on your BA needs. No more fussing with adding raw powder later on. Carnipure™ Carnitine Tartrate (1g)
L-Carnitine has long been known as a powerful ergogenic that imbues the users with a number of benefits including increased vasodilation, nitric oxide levels and androgen receptor density, as well as enhanced recovery.[7,8,9]
The problem with most carnitine supplements is the form in which they’re included in supplements. Filling in the “Gaps”: BA and LCLT
One thing we notice with A LOT of pre workouts out there is that they underdose the beta alanine due to people not liking the “tingling” sensation the full dose of BA carries with it. Ultimately, people must either find a way to supplement with bulk BA or they just go without it entirely, thus never reaching full saturation and missing out on the endurance-boosting properties of the ingredient.
