BOGO Supplement Deals Now Listed at PricePlow!

Buy 1 Get 1 Free Supplements

BOGO is officially at PricePlow! What more can we do to save you money?!

Over the past few weeks, PricePlow users may have started noticing a cool new feature on the main site and through price drop alert emails: Buy 1 Get 1 Free availability for some supplements!

Today, we’d like to officially introduce you to our latest three pages, which are part of our Supplement Deals setup:

When we first made the BOGO page, all of these deals were on the same page, but it was way too big! We considered that a good problem to have, but decided to break them up.

Participating stores only

If you click on a few of the store links, you’ll notice that most of the BOGO deals are at the same stores. We’re only showing stores that have enabled this technology for us.

Some stores send emails about their BOGO offers or manually edit their product descriptions, but that’s not good enough – we need a consistent data feed to get them placed appropriately.

If you run a store and want to be considered, you can contact us. We’d love to get more BOGO offers up on this page!

How the pages work

You’ll see slightly different behavior on each page, but if you see the yellow flame icon, that means you’re about to be sent to a BOGO offer.

PricePlow BOGO Supplements

BOGO (not BOGO50 or B2G1) get the fire

  • On the BOGO deals pages

On the BOGO/BOGO50/B2G1 pages linked above, we only link to a page if it’s the best deal for that product size.

For instance, if some store runs a BOGO on 2lbs of XYZ Protein for $40.00, but some other store has that same protein for $19.99, the BOGO is not going to show up.

Similar to our philosophy on coupons, it’s our goal to get you the best overall deal — not blindly show something because it’s a BOGO (or has a coupon).

  • On the supplement deals page

If a BOGO offer is deemed to be a hot deal, it will say in red, Buy 1 Get 1 Free Offer

    PricePlow Deals Page BOGO

On the main deals page, you’ll see the red (Buy 1 Get 1 Free) text as well as the flame

  • On the main site’s product pages

When you’re looking at product pages, BOGO offers are currently the only products that get special treatment.

If the BOGO offer is the best overall deal for its size, then:

    • In the “Quick Links to Best Prices” section, you’ll see it say “Buy 1 Get 1 FREE!” underneath the product’s size.
    • In the regular price comparisons, the BOGO will get special attention and bumped to the top if it provides the best overall deal.

It doesn’t need to be the lowest price, but it needs to offer the highest value.

  • On category / brand pages

If a Go to Store link has that yellow flame, you’re being taken to a BOGO offer.

What’s next?

Seriously… What do you Want Next? (Click Image for the full awesomeness)

At this point, there really aren’t a whole lot more ways we can get you better deals! But, we plan on the following:

  • Getting more stores to work with us on BOGO offerings
  • Adding new icons to call out B2G1 and BOGO50 deals.
  • Add a few more key stores in general

After that, we have some basic code cleanups to do, and then it’ll be time to talk about the next major feature – moving forward as always!

Until then, you can sign up for deal alerts on any of these pages:

Thanks as always for the support!
