C4 Whey Introduced in the Nutrabolt Hershey Collab… with Real Reese’s!

One of the first major players in the massive world of pre-workout supplements – and one of the most recognizable – was Nutrabolt’s C4, originally launched under their Cellucor brand. Throughout the years, the C4 lineup has undergone several iterations with Nutrabolt’s most recent 5th Generation of C4 bringing several innovative changes to the market.

C4 Whey Hershey's and Reeses!

The C4 x Hershey’s collab continues, with the legendary Hershey’s Milk Chocolate and Reese’s Peanut Butter & Chocolate flavors in a brand new C4 Whey protein powder supplement!

Thanks to the incredible success of both the C4 pre-workout series and the C4 Performance Energy Drinks, C4 became a brand of its own, usurping the Cellucor name itself. C4 has brought us numerous major collaborations, including Bubble Yum (part of the launch covered today), Starburst, Skittles, and Hawaiian Punch. However, this one may be the biggest of them all:

C4 x Hershey’s is Here!

There are few candy brands as iconic as Hershey’s. The company was founded in Pennsylvania all the way back in 1894, with the Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bar hitting shelves in 1900. Since then, the company has become a behemoth and source of dozens of popular candies and other delights.

With this new collaboration, we’ll be getting flavors reminiscent of products like Bubble Yum, Jolly Ranchers, Reese’s, and of course the original Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bar. We’ve already covered the new Bubble Yum C4 collab, but that was just the start:

C4 Whey is Introduced in Official Reese’s and Hershey’s Flavors!

Thanks to this collaboration, we now have a new C4 supplement that isn’t an energy product — it’s a protein! Specifically, it’s C4 Whey Protein, available in three flavors:

  • Reese’s Peanut Butter & Chocolate
  • Hershey’s Milk Chocolate
  • Vanilla Bean

Finally, the two flavors that nearly every brand tries to clone have officially entered the dietary supplement industry — and they’re bringing their classic, trademarked flavors to the party.

We’re going to dive into a little summary on how each relevant C4 product works, but first, let’s check PricePlow for good C4 deals, and check out our video review of the new flavors:

C4 Whey Protein

Behold – the first C4 product that’s not an energy drink or pre-workout of some sort!

C4 Whey Hershey's Reese's Flavors

While pre-workouts and energy drinks are generally better suited to fruiter, lighter flavors, protein powders are ideal for rich, chocolatey flavors, making C4 Whey the perfect choice to showcase some of Hershey’s most recognizable flavors: Hershey’s Milk Chocolate, Reese’s Peanut Butter & Chocolate, and a Vanilla Bean Flavor.

C4 Whey Nutrition Facts

All flavors of C4 Whey Protein contain a solid 25 grams of protein. Depending on the flavor, you’ll get 130 or 140 calories per scoop:

  • Calories: 130-140
  • Protein: 25g
  • Total Carbohydrate: 2-4g
    • Dietary Fiber: 0-1g
    • Total Sugars: 1-2g
  • Total Fat: 2-2.5g

The highest calorie content comes from the Reese’s Peanut Butter & Chocoolate flavor, which has added peanut flour to bring in that great peanut butter taste.

C4 Whey Ingredients

C4 Whey Hershey's Milk Chocolate Ingredients

C4 Whey provides 25 grams of protein from Whey Protein Concentrate (WPC) and Whey Protein Isolate (WPI), two high-quality proteins derived from cow’s milk. Both are rich in essential amino acids and branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs), which are crucial for muscle repair, growth, and overall health. However, they differ in their processing methods, nutrient profiles, and suitability for various dietary needs.

  • Whey Protein Concentrate is produced by filtering whey to remove some of the carbohydrates (lactose) and fats, resulting in a protein content typically ranging from 34% to 80%, but generally closer to 70-80%. WPC retains more of the naturally occurring bioactive compounds found in whey, such as immunoglobulins and lactoferrin, which can support immune function. Its slightly higher lactose and fat content contributes to a creamier taste and texture, making it a popular choice for those who prefer a more natural and flavorful protein supplement.
  • C4 Whey Hershey's HeroWhey Protein Isolate, on the other hand, undergoes additional processing to further reduce the lactose, fat, and carbohydrate content, achieving a protein purity of 90% or higher. This makes WPI an excellent option for individuals who are lactose intolerant or are following low-carb or low-fat diets. WPI is rapidly absorbed by the body, providing quick delivery of amino acids to the muscles, which can be particularly beneficial immediately after exercise to enhance recovery and promote lean muscle growth.

By combining WPC and WPI, C4 Whey offers a comprehensive protein source that leverages the strengths of both forms. The blend provides a high protein content with a balanced nutrient profile, catering to those seeking muscle-building benefits while enjoying a rich taste. This combination ensures that users receive a sustained release of amino acids, optimal for muscle repair and growth, while accommodating a variety of dietary preferences and needs.

Both collaborative flavors contain cocoa, while partially defatted peanut flour supports the Reese’s flavor, as mentioned above.

We couldn’t be more excited about this, and our video review will be posted above!

Game-Changing Collaborations From Two Industry Giants

    C4 Whey Hershey's Milk Chocolate

Nutrabolt’s C4 Original Pre-Workout has been around for a long time, but that doesn’t mean they’re done innovating. To the contrary, they’ve updated the formula 5 times (including novel ingredients like PeptiPump), added an entire line of products around it, and have gone to great lengths to bring some truly awesome flavors to market.

This latest collaboration with Hershey’s is proof positive that the brand is still on the top of their game, and there is no sign of letting up. So sit back and enjoy the same flavors you loved as a kid on Halloween night – this way, though, you’ll be getting muscle gains instead of fat gains.

C4 is no longer just energy – it’s delicious whey protein, too.
