Pistachio Delight Classic Whey Extends NutraBio’s Ice Cream Parlor Series!

NutraBio Classic Whey Pistachio Delight Small

Pistachio Delight Classic Whey tastes like it came straight from the ice cream shop!

2019 was full of new products and flavors from NutraBio! We thought the trend would slow down, but it turns out they just keep on rolling. NutraBio has always been known for having the most transparent labels, clinically dosed ingredients, and unmatched quality (as well as publicly-shared third-party tests). However, entering into 2019, their flavor game was a little outdated. Since everything else was nailed down, it was time to focus on developing delicious new flavors.

Ever since then, Mike Perez, NutraBio’s flavorist, got to work and came out with some amazing new flavors for NutraBio’s Classic Whey, such as Strawberry Shortcake and Ice Cream Cookie Dream. You can consider those the NutraBio “Ice Cream Parlor Series”. Beyond that, Perez even made a Chocolate Peanut Butter Bliss flavor — allergen free!

Did Someone Say Pistachio Delight?!

Early into the new year, NutraBio launched a Alpha EAA in the highly reviewed flavor of New York Punch Alpha EAA and Orange Dream Classic Whey, which was perfect! Next up for 2020, NutraBio announced another flavor of Classic Whey was coming, and we’ve never seen a flavor like this from anyone else. We’re excited to say that Pistachio Delight Classic Whey is here and ready to shock your taste buds!

Classic Whey Pistachio Delight Ingredients

NutraBio always fully discloses every single ingredient’s amount, which is very rare. They’ve been doing this for decades and it just shows founder Mark Glazier’s commitment to transparency and quality. NutraBio has nothing to hide and he’s extremely proud of that.

Now let’s check out what Pistachio Delight’s ingredients are all about!

Classic Whey Pistachio Delight Nutrition / Macronutrients

NutraBio Classic Whey Pistachio Delight Supplement Facts

Fully transparent, fully loaded. We still don’t know how they pack so much flavor with those macros!

As expected with Classic Whey, it delivers 25g of protein from 32.47g of pure whey protein concentrate 80% (WPC-80), which is the highest quality form of WPC.

One serving (34.17g) of Classic Whey Pistachio Delight delivers:

  • Calories: 130
  • Fat: 2g
  • Carbohydrate: 2g (2g Sugar)
  • Protein: 25g

With NutraBio, not only is the protein yield disclosed, but the entire flavor system and sweetener amounts are also listed, so you know exactly what you’re getting!

As you can see, the macronutrient profile is very solid for a concentrate. NutraBio offers a 100% Whey Protein Isolate powder in some amazing flavors as well, if you can’t handle lactose or want to spare a few extra calories. However, Classic Whey is by far one of the highest quality protein powders on the market, and with that concentrate you get creaminess and other benefits discussed next:

The Classic Whey Advantage

Classic Whey comes ins wide variety of delicious flavors to suit anyone’s preferences!

Although whey protein isolate (WPI) seems to get all the glory these days, whey protein concentrate (WPC) has some hidden benefits most people are unaware of. WPC is a bit less expensive and has a creamier and thicker consistency, which makes for a better flavor. WPC-80 may also help boost your immune system by providing immunoglobulins and lactoglobulins, many of which get filtered out when whey undergoes further processing to become a whey isolate, remove nearly all the lactose, carbs, and fats. By filtering those to get to 90% isolate, we also filter out some of the beneficial compounds!

PricePlow highly recommends WPC, especially if the company states its pure WPC80 like NutraBio always does. If the label doesn’t state its WPC80, it can range from 34%-80% or be a blend of two percentages. That just helps the company cut costs but gives the consumer a lower quality protein powder. But with a WPC80, it’s only 10% lower in protein than WPI. Therefore, if you can handle a small amount of lactose and maybe an extra carb or gram of fat, you’ll save some money and get added benefits!

It’s also important to note that NutraBio uses only cold-processed, cross-flow microfiltered whey, which ensures the protein is not denatured during the processing method.

Classic Whey Available Flavors

If Pistachio Delight doesn’t sound like your sort of flavor, Classic Whey comes in a wide variety of other options to suit your needs! As we mentioned, Nutrabio came out with some amazing flavors last year, and two of our favorites were Ice Cream Cookie Dream and Strawberry Shortcake!

NutraBio has been in the industry since 1996, and they’ve always believed in creating the best products possible without compromise. Mark Glazier never settles, and each year he’s on a mission to improve the company in any way possible. Just last year they renovated their state of the art facility to ensure everything was up to Mark’s standards — you can read about it and watch the videos in our NutraBio Plant Tour article.

So not only do they have incredible quality and transparency that beats out any other competitor, they now have insanely amazing-tasting products too! NutraBio even has third party tests listed on their website for anyone to see, which is quite incredible and still rare to see years after they started doing it. We love being able to work with a company that is truly changing the industry in such a positive way.
