Summer Scoops time continues for Musclesport, the brand led by Jason Mancuso, aka the “Supp Chef”, who’s been living up to his name and far more with an insane slew of new flavors.
We recently covered a Root Beer Float flavor of Lean Whey (their flagship protein) for Father’s Day, a Toasted Almond launch in Lean Whey and Collagen Peptides, and their 4 for the 4th celebration that included a new Apple Pie a La Mode and the annual Patriot Cake classic Lean Whey as well as two BCAA revolution flavors.
But if you thought the flavor assassinators were done, then think again:
Summer Scoops! Lean Whey Arrives in Orange Creamsicle and Pistachio Ice Cream
This round, it’s time for some ice cream style flavors, with Orange Creamsicle and Pistachio Ice Cream in Lean Whey. But that’s not all – just like in the above Toasted Almond launch, they’re also putting out a Pistachio Ice Cream flavor of Collagen Peptides!
Longtime Musclesport fans have seen these in the past, but they’ve been out of stock at all stores we track for a while, so it’s great to see them back.
We’ve got the coupon-powered deals below, and then we give a brief overview of MuscleSport’s Lean Whey and Collagen Peptides. You can sign up for their deals on PricePlow in the widget below so that you don’t miss out on the next one:

A bit about Lean Whey
We best explain the incredible Musclesport Lean Whey ingredients in our Root Beer Float release, so if you want the full science, check that link.
But for the quick read-up, here’s what’s inside:
- 25 grams of protein from a high-quality blend whey protein isolate followed by hydrolyzed whey protein. This is both fast- and easily-digested, so you can get back to a positive nitrogen balance and have some immune-boosting properties thanks to whey protein, the tried and true dairy protein source.
- Fibersol-2 provides soluble fiber, good for gut health and toxin removal.
- Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCTs) are the healthy saturated fats that provide near-instant energy (since they quickly get converted into ketone bodies) and can also support gut health. They also help with creaminess and texture.
- L-Carnitine L-Tartrate is a form of L-Carnitine that’s bound to tartaric acid (which generally helps taste) — this ingredient is useful for fatty acid shuttling to the mitochondria so that those fats can get converted to energy in the form of ATP.
- Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) is an omega-6 fatty acid that has some backing supporting fat loss, at least in lower-fat dieters who aren’t getting enough of the molecule.
- Ignitor – Musclesport’s chosen digestive enzyme complex, which uniquely consists of endopeptidase and exopeptidase, “smart” enzymes that can recognize amino acids and cleave them so that they’re digested better.
- Lactase – Don’t miss this on the label – this is of course the digestive enzyme that supports lactase breakdown — lactase is the main milk sugar that some individuals need a bit of support with.

What is Collagen Peptides Revolution?
As opposed to whey protein, which supports muscle protein synthesis (thanks to its high leucine and BCAA content), Collagen Peptides contain amino acids that are more useful for soft/connective tissue, including hair, skin, nails, and joints. We’re talking about higher quantities of amino acids like glycine, proline, and hydroxyproline.
Musclesport keeps this one a bit more simple, but also includes Vitamin C (which supports collagen synthesis, 150% DV) and biotin (a B-Vitamin that’s useful for nail growth, 834% DV).
What we also love about Collegen Peptides Revolution is that the label has a full amino acid profile disclosed, so you can see just how much you’re getting. This provides less confusion for avid label readers – the leucine is definitely lower than in a whey protein!
