A few months ago we covered Axe & Sledge Farm Fed on the PricePlow Blog and did a complete breakdown of the macronutrients, ingredients, and flavors while also providing some background on how Farm Fed was created. It turns out that Seth Feroce, co-founder of Axe & Sledge Supplements, has a difficult time properly digesting and absorbing protein powders.
Therefore, throughout most of his competitive bodybuilding career, he strayed away from protein powders and used whole foods instead, such as chicken, steak, and eggs. Now that Seth has a family, multiple businesses, a podcast, and continues to train just as hard, there are numerous times that drinking a protein shake is his only option.
It was a good day for everyone when Patrick Williams, co-founder and chief formulator at Axe & Sledge Supplements, formulated a protein powder that Seth could enjoy without worrying about gastrointestinal distress. All Patrick had to do was combine a premium 100% grass-fed protein with a comprehensive digestive enzyme blend called DigeSEB Plus. It seemed to have solved Seth’s issues.
Farm Fed is Now Available in Glazed Donut
Not to mention, Farm Fed comes in several flavors, including cinnamon apple pie, s’mores, and cookies n’ cream. So it helps satisfy Seth’s cravings for sweets. Although we did a complete product breakdown of Farm Fed last month, Axe & Sledge recently added two new flavors to the lineup — salted caramel and glazed donut.
Salted caramel Farm Fed is loaded with a sweet and salty flavor combination that customers say they enjoy. To celebrate the arrival of Black Friday, Axe & Sledge will release another flavor, glazed donut. It’s definitely a unique flavor.

The Farm Fed Flavor Train Rolls On With Glazed Donut and Salted Caramel
Axe & Sledge does have some more traditional flavors for Farm Fed, such as vanilla milkshake and chocolate milkshake. However, their past few flavor releases have been far from traditional. For example, when Axe & Sledge launched cinnamon apple pie Farm Fed, it was supposed to be a limited-edition flavor. But it quickly became a best-seller, so the company is keeping it around.
Last year, Axe & Sledge released a s’mores Farm Fed that featured a chocolate protein powder with marshmallow and graham cracker inclusions. Yet again, the company seemed to hit another flavor home run. We’re excited to see that Axe & Sledge is starting to launch more flavors for Farm Fed because it’s been over a year since s’mores was came out. Rather than rushing the process, it seems that Axe & Sledge would rather take their time perfecting new flavors.
Farm Fed Macronutrients
For optimal results, Axe & Sledge recommends mixing one scoop of Farm Fed with 6 to 8 ounces of cold water or another preferred beverage. You can take Farm Fed any time of day, but post-workout is ideal for fueling recovery.

The Farm Fed Difference
Farm Fed is made with 100% grass-fed whey protein isolate, so it contains virtually no lactose. Even people who are lactose intolerant or sensitive to lactose should be able to enjoy this supplement with no unwanted side effects. In addition, it’s non-GMO, gluten-free (except the s’mores flavor), low fat, packed with 22 grams of protein, rich in naturally-occurring branched-chain amino acids and essential amino acids, antibiotic-free, and it’s naturally flavored/colored.
Farm Fed is one of the only whey protein isolates with DigeSEB Plus, a comprehensive digestive enzyme blend that helps the body digest and absorb nutrients. In theory, if your body uptakes more protein, it can use those amino acids to repair and rebuild muscle tissue after an intense training session. If you’ve had trouble with whey proteins in the past, try out Farm Fed to experience the difference of a 100% grass-fed whey protein isolate.
