Blood Orange Review: More like a creamsicle

Myprotein has a ton of these types of products in Europe. They company is bringing many of them to America shores.

I’m not the biggest citrus guy, so I assumed strawberry, dragonfruit, and wild cherry would stay on top of my list. That’s mostly true, but it turns out this particular. citrus flavor tastes smooth and not overbearing, which is what I expected from “blood orange.” But caveat that with the fact that I’ve since learned to use extra ice water, which I think makes clear proteins far better. At 10 to 12 ounces, it will taste more powerful, but personally, I like it smoother.

Long story short, this is the citrus flavor to get. Lemonade, which was part of the original releases (our video can be seen below) wasn’t bad. Blood orange just seems better put together! But if you still like “standard” fruity flavors, strawberry is likely to be your first option.

Unlike milkshake-style protein powders, Clear Whey Protein Isolate is lighter, fruitier, and more refreshing – especially when you take Mike’s advice above and use even more water.
