Ghost Whey Lemon Butter Cake: Mama Guzman Approved

Legends who’ve been following Ghost Lifestyle since the beginning know the story behind Ghost Whey. Ghost was one of the first to have a fully-disclosed protein blend, and then created some industry-elevating collabs like Ghost Whey Chips Ahoy! and Ghost Whey Nutter Butter.

Ghost Whey Lemon Butter Cake

What could be better than watching your own cake come to life in a protein powder?! Ghost Whey Lemon Butter Cake is Mama Guzman Approved!

Now for the first time, they’re collaborating with an athlete — or shall we say athlete’s mom — for an all-new flavor of Ghost Whey! It’s none other than Christian Guzman and his mother (“Mama Guzman”), who’s well-known for her lemon butter cake, a delicious dessert that’s especially special as a post-competition cheat after grueling contest preps are over.

Ghost Whey Lemon Butter Cake: Just like Mama Guzman Makes it!

This marks the third of three Christian Guzman collabs, the first being Ghost Legend CG V4, a higher-caffeine Legend pre workout with no beta alanine or rauwolfia, and Ghost Focus, a stimulant-free nootropic with loads of cognitive boosters. Both, unsurprisingly, in the lemon flavor!

The tub may look different, but it’s still that legendary Ghost Whey formula… now just in lemon butter cake flavor! This means you’ll get:

  • 25g Protein
  • 2g Fat
  • 6g Carbs (2g sugar)

…all in 140 calories of golden, yellow, buttery cake goodness. The protein blend remains the same, and is disclosed below. Let’s get into the backstory, the reviews, and the full label, but first check out our coupon-driven deals and PricePlow’s Ghost news alerts:

And a brief bit of info on the protein blend (37g serving) and other add-ons:

  • Protein Sources

With Ghost Whey, Ghost was one of the first protein powders to fully disclose their entire protein blend, something most companies still don’t do to this day. Here’s the breakdown:

    • Whey Protein Isolate 90% – 14.53g delivering 12.5g protein

    • Whey Protein Concentrate 80% – 13.16g delivering 10g protein

    • Hydrolyzed Whey Protein Isolate – 2.98g delivering 2.5g protein

These three protein sources all bring a great deal of essential amino acids (including the three branched-chain amino acids) while being relatively low in fat and lactose (milk sugars). You can use this any time of the day, but note that it’s a faster-digesting protein powder, so it’ll be especially useful post-workout.

  • Other Ingredients

The other ingredients vary slightly from flavor to flavor, but for Ghost Whey Lemon Butter Cake, we get:

    • Shortcake pieces – authentic cake in every sip!

      Mama Guzman Lemon Butter Cake

Mama Guzman’s Lemon Butter Cake Ghost Whey flavor has been an effort years in the making!

These are made from Bleached Wheat Flour, Sugar, Palm Oil, Coconut, Natural Flavors, Nonfat Dry Milk, and Salt.

    • Natural & artificial flavors

    • Salt

    • Digestive Enzymes (proteases, bromelain, and lactase) – improves absorption and digestibility

    • Citric Acid and Tartaric Acid

    • Xanthan gum (thickening agent)

    • Turmeric Powder (for color)

    • Sucralose – artificial sweetener

We’ve covered a lot of them over the years! Below is a list of all of the flavors of Ghost Whey that are in stock, with links to their associated articles and deals alongside:

Ghost legend Christian Guzman V4

The fourth installment of the legendary Christian Guzman limited edition series of Ghost Legend is here, and it looks incredible – especially if you don’t want beta alanine or rauwolfia!

Life gives you lemons, make Lemon Butter Cake!

This is a limited edition tub, but from the sounds of it, this flavor is going to be too good to let fall by the wayside. Ghost is the king of collabs, but a protein flavor collaboration with your top athlete’s mother? That’s some next level business right there. Meanwhile, half of the industry is still trying to perfect a vanilla flavor (which is admittedly hard to do).

With these three supplement launches all on the same day:

    Ghost Legend Lemon

    Legendary collab series

…this collab season is off to an incredible start, and we’re excited to share in the excitement.

What’s next from the Legends? No clue. So sign up for our Ghost News alerts below, there’s no doubt they’re not stopping.
