Core Nutritionals ISO Clear Protein Launches in Fun Sweets Cotton Candy!

The big news over at Doug Miller’s Core Nutritionals last month was the release of their MOOSE TRACKS Protein Brownies. They launched in two flavors: Blondie, and Brownie, and they are nothing short of delectable.

This month, though, we’re getting another new product from Core – ISO Clear! This isn’t just a new product launch, it’s a new product launch in the Fun Sweets Cotton Candy collaboration, which originally launched with Core Fury and Pump pre-workouts and expanded to Cotton Candy Core Hydrate flavors.

These flavor systems were just too good to leave with the sports supplements, so Core’s taking it to the next level — with protein!

ISO Clear: As close to pure protein as it gets

There are a ton of protein powders on the market, and many of them are formulated around whey protein isolate, which is at least 90% pure protein by weight. Even Core Nutritionals has their own Core ISO, which does incredibly well in its own right.

That said, most other protein powders still end up with a few grams of carbs and fats (Core also has Core PRO, Core MRP, and Core PUDD’n).

Core’s ISO Clear, however, is diferent from all of these — it’s a clear whey protein isolate, meaning it settles translucently and has a thinner mouthfeel and texture. While it really does have zero grams of fat, it has a single gram of carbs. This is about as close as you can get to the platonic ideal of protein.

But the taste of these two flavor systems: So perfect with a clear whey isolate!!

We’re going to dive into a little summary on how ISO Clear works, but first, let’s check the PricePlow for good Core deals:

Core ISO Clear – How it Works

Whey protein stands out as the predominant choice for supplemental protein in the industry, and its popularity is grounded in several compelling reasons:

One significant advantage of whey is its high bioavailability,[1] which means a large portion of the protein consumed is absorbed and utilized by the body, more so than other protein types.

Moreover, whey protein is known for its rapid action, achieving maximum blood concentration within just an hour of consumption, in contrast to approximately three hours for meals with mixed macronutrients.[2] This swift absorption is crucial for quick recovery post-exercise.

In comparison to plant-based protein supplements, whey boasts a higher concentration of essential amino acids, which are vital nutrients that must be sourced from our diet.[3] Research supports the notion that incorporating whey supplements into a diet rich in nutrients and whole foods can enhance body composition and strength for both men and women.[4-7]

Whey protein isolate – which is the form found in Core Clear ISO – is special because it contains at least 90% protein by weight.

Clean macros, Clean Protein, Insane Flavors

Protein powder – along with creatine – is one of the primary staples of the serious athlete’s supplement stack. You take it early and often, and a good protein powder helps to pad your macros with enough good protein to effectively repair muscle tissue.

Most protein powders are still pretty “adulterated”, though. Some carbs and fats sneak through. While this isn’t always a bad thing, it can make engineering your macro count a bit more difficult. In the case of Core Clear ISO, though, this is not a concern. Each scoop is almost entirely composed of protein.

Just throw it in a shaker cup with ice cold water, shake, settle, and you’re headed to sweet, sweet flavortown.
