Magnum Carne Diem – Seize the Fat Loss!

Magnum Carne Diem

Carne Diem is the newest non stimulant fat burner from Magnum Nutraceuticals that puts a truly unique spin on carnitine supplements.

When looking for a quality fat burner, we often see the stimulant-overload options that simply cram more and more caffeine. Sure, some is good, but too much really isn’t for most people.

This eventually leads most to look into the non-stim fat burner market. However, this is a harrowing road to navigate, as it’s filled mostly with junk herbal based products with little to no scientific backing (ie half the stuff mentioned on Doctor Oz over the years).

Fortunately, Magnum Nutraceuticals brings a new stim-free fat burner to the market that’s a perfect standalone option or ideal to stack with their potent stimulant-based fat burners like Rocket Science or Heat Accelerated.

Carne Diem is a straight-forward, no non-sense carnitine based product that utilizes some other well known compounds to increase its bioavailability and effectiveness.

The unique ingredient here we’re excited about is Russian Tarragon alongside a high dose of choline, which are going to support a better uptake of L-Carnitine than standard carnitine fat burners.

Carne Diem Ingredients

Carne Diem doesn’t follow the conventional non-stim fat burner route by throwing together a mish-mash of herbal extracts. Rather, they select a few choice ingredients effectively dosed that enhance the body’s natural fat burning processes.

Note: Doses below are based on 1 daily serving = 4 capsules.

Magnum Carne Diem Ingredients

Carne Diem contains ingredients that enhance Carnitine’s bioavailability without the need for carbs.

  • L-Carnitine (1g)

    Carne Diem Candidate

Here’s a candidate we can all get behind!

L-Carnitine is an amino acid synthesized from the combination of Lysine and Methionine, that’s an extremely effective non-stim fat burning ingredient. This potent amino acid helps shuttle long-chain fatty acids, such as triglycerides, into mitochondria where it can then be oxidized to produce energy.[1] Carnitine has also been shown to reduce fatigue and serve as an appetite suppressant as well.[2]

However, the problem with most L-Carnitine products is that they’re typically excreted by the body before fully utilizing the fat-burning benefits of the amino. To maximize uptake, it’s usually advised to take L-Carnitine with a healthy dose of carbs in order to spike insulin levels and help shuttle Carnitine into the cells.

But, we’re trying to lose fat here, and keep insulin levels low, so how do we get around this problem? That’s where the rest of Carne Diem’s ingredients come into play. Each of the following ingredients works to enhance the body’s uptake and utilization L-Carnitine.

  • Choline Bitartrate (1g)

Choline is predominantly used when trying to improve focus and the “mind-muscle” connection during workouts.[3] But, the powerful compound has also been shown to enhance the body’s uptake and transport of carnitine into cells.[4,5] When the two are combined, increases have been seen in not only fat burning, but increased sprint speed and overall volume of work performed.[6]

Choline also helps augment the effects of L-Carnitine by preventing the body from excreting it through the urine.[10] Keeping the two compounds active longer in the body means greater effectiveness for longer periods of time, basically better fat burning for longer periods of time.

This is quite a high dose, and we’re nearly going to guarantee that you’re going to feel this one. 500mg of choline is fun, 1g is just awesome. This will help whether you’re using Carne Diem pre workout or “pre work”!

  • Potassium Magnesium HCA (Hydroxycitric Acid) (750mg)

    Magnum Carne Diem Sieze

Carne Diem helps you sieze hold of fat loss without the need for a bunch of stimulants.

Hydroxycitric Acid (HCA) is a derivative of citric acid found in a number of plants, Garcinia Cambogia being the most well known. Multiple studies have found this powerful compound to reduce fat accumulation in both humans and animals.[7,8,9] While the exact mechanism isn’t fully understood, researchers have found that HCA regulates a particular lipid metabolism-related gene that controls fat deposition in the body.

Basically, HCA inhibits lipogenesis while increasing lipolysis which ultimately leads to less fat accumulation in the trouble areas in the body. Garcinia is indeed one of those Doctor Oz ingredients we moaned about in the intro, but it does seem to have some effects.

  • Russian Tarragon (500mg)

Russian Tarragon is a member of the Asteraceae family of plants sometimes referred to as the “King of Herbs.” The herb has been investigated for its unique ability to increase insulin, lower blood glucose levels & reduce blood insulin levels in humans, namely those with diabetes.[11] Here’s the real magic behind RT, the ability to slightly elevate insulin.

Remember up top, we said that L-Carnitine is best absorbed when insulin levels are spiked, thereby enhancing uptake into cells. Russian Tarragon has been shown in studies to effectively increase the absorption and utilization of other supplements like creatine without the need for insulin spiking carbs or fatty acids.[12]

The same logic can be applied here, and the combination of Choline + RT should set the body into a very pro-carnitine absorptive state.

This ingredient is also used in Magnum’s Big C, an equally unique creatine pill product that uses Russian Tarragon alongside Panax Ginseng and Astragalus Root to boost uptake.

Dosing

Consume 2 capsules twice daily. Ideally, you would take your first dose pre workout, and your second dose before bed.

Too often, non-stim fat burners try to over complicate things by throwing every single herb known to man to have some potential fat burning benefits. This usually results in a rather ineffective product that did nothing for your waist but did put a considerable dent in your wallet.

Effective non-stim fat burners use science backed ingredients, in the proper doses and in combination with synergistic ingredients to enhance the body’s own natural fat burning properties.

Carne Diem takes all of this into account and allows your body to seize the fat and banish it once and for all – we have a feeling this one is going to end up on our best fat burner buyer’s guide somewhere in the non-stim section, even if it’s for the focus effects on its own!
