‘Merica Energy: An All-American Energy Drink!

It’s hard to find a truer Red, White and Blue supplement company than ‘Merica Labz!

When a company drops monster sized cereal pieces and cookie bits into its whey protein, you know you’ve found a larger than life company that embodies the good old fashioned ‘Merican spirit. If you’re not sure what we’re talking about, check out our review of Patriot’s Whey and then it’s time to check out the company’s new energy drink!

That’s right, ‘Merica Labz is throwing its hat into the ring for “on the go” energy drink cans:

Red, White, and Boom: ‘Merica’s Energy Drink!

Merica Energy Drink

‘Merica Labz has introduced its newest addition to its lineup, with an all-American energy drink!

Ready-to-drink (RTD) hybrid pre worktou supplements / energy drinks have been skyrocketing in popularity, and many players are getting into the cold drink market. A company as outgoing and bold as ‘Merica Labz is doing everything it can to stay ahead of the curve, and as you can see, these cans will definitely scream in the fridges.

So ‘Merica Labz is now dropping a new “on the go” energy drink titled ‘Merica Energy!

More energy drink than pre workout!

But here’s what’s different than the others from the sports nutrition world like VPX and Cellucor: This is an energy drink, not a “pre workout”!

It can be used as a pre workout if you like, but the eventual goal is to go after the broader energy drink market here – not just stay in gyms forever – despite Merica Labz being a sports nutrition company.

Memorial Day 2018!

This canned version of the “Red, White, and Boom” pre workout supplement (which is quite different and is a pre workout, mind you) launches on none other than Memorial Day — May 28, 2018. A fitting and historical day for the most patriotic supplement company on the block! The launch featured four distinct flavors, but below is the up-to-date listing:

The name “Red, White, and Boom” is a bit of a spin-off from the preworkout. However, this version is tamed down on the stimulants and is more approriate as an energy drink.

    Merica Labz

‘Merica Labz is charging forward and changing what energy can be about with its Red, White and Blue attitude!

Similar to VPX’s Bang or Cellucor’s new C4 carbonated On the Go energy drink, “Red, White, and Boom” is targeting users in a similar approach with a new available energy choice.

The tub version of “Red, White, and Boom” is a stimulant heavy pre-workout that is not for the faint-hearted. Packing a whooping 400mg of caffeine anhydrous and 250mg of Theacrine, “Red, White, and Boom” definitely offers a boom factor! The original pre-workout has a substantial amount of citrulline, beta alanine and tyroisne as well.

So how does the canned drink compare to the pre-workout tub?

    ‘Merica Energy Ingredients and Label

A straight-forward label, ‘Merica Energy is taking a hold on the energy drink market!

Take a look at the ingredients, ‘Merica Energy is fairly mild compared to it’s tubbed predecessor with:

    • 20mg of Niacin
    • 2mg of Vitamin B6
    • 6mcg of Vitamin B12
    • 10mg of Pantothenic Acid (Vitamin B5)

      And then the fun stuff:

    • 250mg of Acetyl-L-Carnitine
    • 250mg of Choline Bitartrate
    • 190mg of Caffeine Anhydrous
    • 50mg of Guarana Extract

This makes for a total of 200mg caffeine due to the guarana adding a bit on top of the regular caffeine.

Most of these ingredients align with what we expect in an energy drink and all work in a synergistic manner to promote a stimulant-based product, but add a bit of focus-enhancement too. With the combination of Vitamin B derivatives combined with stimulants from caffeine and Guarana Extract, ‘Merica’s Energy Drink gives you a new star-spangled way to get your daily energy.

“Zero calories” but some sugar alcohols to assist

Each serving of ‘Merica Energy comes in a sixteen ounce can with zero calories and zero carbs, fats, or protein. It does rely on 3g of erythritol for sweetening effect, so this sugar alcohol may provide a very minute carb impact.

All in all, this looks like a pretty solid energy drink option! We like the addition of Acetyl L-Carnitine, which is a great amino acid to supplement with if you aren’t getting enough from food. This can be difficult for people who don’t eat a lot of meat.

    No artificial colors!

And one thing we must point out that we love is no artificial colors or dyes on any of the labels we’ve seen!! Since this is almost always drank from a can, why bother with them? Thankfully, ‘Merica Energy agrees.

The War for Fridge Space is on!

‘Merica Energy will be exclusively distributed via MFUSA, so if you’re a retailer or gym owner, you know who to call!

With companies offering more RTD (ready to drink) versions of products, it only makes sense to offer something to be used in place of an energy drink or pre-workout. We’re loving all these new drinks from VPX/Bang, ProSupps, and Cellucor, so hopefully ‘Merica Labz can keep pace – because this is what we think an energy drink should be formulated like!

‘Merica Labz has dropped some of the most mind-blowing flavors we have ever seen a whey protein offer. We have no doubt that ‘Merica Energy will be a hit as well, so sign up for news alerts below:
