New Year? New Flavor!
PEScience, the brand behind the famous Select Protein, has been due for a new flavor in their sports nutrition series of supplements. In late 2019, they came out with a few new protein flavors, including Cake Pop and Chocolate Mint Cookie in Select Protein, as well as a Vanilla Select Protein4Oats flavor.
PEScience has released Sour Green Apple for their three sports nutrition series supplements!
Now it’s time to add some zing to the workout series:
We’re talking about PEScience’s Prolific (stimulant-based pre workout), High Volume (stim-free pre workout for pumps), and Amino IV (a high-leucine EAA ‘sports drink’).
PEScience Adds Sour Green Apple to the Workout Menu!
It’s been a while since the last new flavor in their sports series, when a Tropical Twist flavor came to Prolific on March 31, 2019 (according to our PEScience News timeline). The brand had most things nailed, but there was one flavor that was frequently requested from the brand that they didn’t have: green apple! So they brought it on. The question was how to balance it.

Sour but not overpowering
We asked PEScience about the flavor, and Bryant Rowe, the sales manager, responded:
I personally think it tastes like a mildly sour green [candy]. The sourness is not overpowering, it’s just right.
