The athletic nutrition industry is a fickle beast. Ingredients come and go, brands rise and fall, and it seems like everyone is at the mercy of the 15-minute trends that pervade social media.
Everyone except for GHOST Lifestyle, that is. In many ways, GHOST controls the trends, and they seem to catch every wave. Led by Dan Lourenço, the brand has evolved into a behemoth. They’re not simply merchants of products – they’re a lifestyle brand in the truest sense of the word. Built on the back of strong products that cover nearly every base of health and wellness, GHOST has become a household name.
It’s not just about ingredients for GHOST, however. They’ve taken the art of flavoring just as seriously — and today is a flavor day.
Bidding farewell to the summer heat, GHOST is getting an early start on the fall season.
Apple Cider and Pumpkin Spice
Not only are the GHOST folks masters at taste, but they also understand timing. Flavors fit the season. What does well in June is not what will do well in October. Well, it’s officially fall, and that means some warmer flavors than summer tastes like piña colada or fruit punch.
GHOST has released three new fall-inspired flavors for three different products: GHOST Whey, GHOST Vegan, and GHOST Greens.
We’re going to dive into a little summary on how each product works, but first, let’s check the PricePlow for good GHOST deals, and check out our video review of the new flavors:

Our 2023 Ghost Fall Flavor Review
GHOST Whey: Apple Cider Doughnut
Whey protein, the industry standard for protein supplementation, is produced from cow’s milk. As a complete protein, whey contains all nine essential amino acids that your body needs to ensure proper repair and recovery, which translates into more lean muscle gain. Each scoop of GHOST Whey contains 25 grams of protein. Of this total, whey protein isolate (WPI) – which is 90% pure protein – composes 12.5 grams.
In addition to WPI, GHOST Whey contains whey protein concentrate 80% and hydrolyzed whey protein isolate, which is an “ultra-refined” form of whey, and helps combat ill effects for those who struggle to tolerate lactose. All-in-all, GHOST Whey contains a little bit of each major type of whey protein, offering a balanced formula that preserves taste.
GHOST’s new Whey flavor is Apple Cider Doughnut, which sounds like just the ticket after a hard workout on these chillier fall mornings.

GHOST Vegan: Pumpkin Spice Cake
For those following a vegetarian or vegan diet, it can be difficult to find a good protein powder. First, most plant sources of protein are not complete proteins, and therefore lack one or more of the necessary amino acids for muscle growth and body recomposition. In addition, it is notoriously difficult to make vegan protein mixes taste good.
GHOST has solved both of these problems with GHOST Vegan. Containing a combination of pea protein (12 grams of protein), organic pumpkin protein (5.5 grams of protein), and watermelon seed protein (2.5 grams of protein), GHOST has managed to offer 20 grams of complete protein. Even better, the combination doesn’t have a strange texture – in fact the texture is overwhelmingly smooth and easy to drink.
GHOST couldn’t neglect offering one of the most popular fall flavors to come out of the last decade or so: GHOST Vegan is now available in a Pumpkin Spice Cake flavor!

GHOST Greens: Apple Cider
Health and wellness is not limited to building muscle or your one rep max. One exciting trend in the supplement industry over the last few years has been a focus on helping customers target all aspects of health. One of the biggest needle-movers in this category has been greens supplements.
GHOST Greens is composed of a variety of different blends:
- Super Greens: contains healthy vegetable ingredients, such as kale and matcha, that help provide the vital micronutrients that the body needs to function correctly.
- Antioxidant Reds: vegetables and fruits that are jam-packed with vitamins A, C, and a strong antioxidant profile, which promote cellular resilience.
- Spectra Total ORAC Blend: a fruit and vegetable blend from FutureCeuticals that helps to amplify the formula as a whole with ingredients like coffee arabica, green tea, and apple.
- GHOST Gut Health: ingredients such as inulin, probiotics, and BioCore Optimum Complete help contribute to a healthy gut biome, which promotes proper digestion and an overall better feeling throughout the day.
GHOST Greens, like GHOST Whey, is now available in an Apple Cider flavor, but without the “cake” portion in Whey. This makes sense: GHOST Greens feel like a lighter supplement than the thick, dessert-like flavors the market expects from protein powders.

The leaves are falling
It has only officially been fall for less than a week, but GHOST has wasted no time. Fall is a season that is markedly connected to a variety of tastes and flavors. While Starbucks’ Pumpkin Spice Latte may be delicious, the copious quantity of sugar contained therein is not exactly conducive to a disciplined diet and fitness regimen.
This tops Ghost’s 2022 Fall Flavor launches, which had Apple Cider Doughnut and Pumpkin Pie Whey as well as Apple Cider Greens.
Thanks to GHOST, though, you can have your cake and eat it too. Enjoy the delicious, warming flavors of fall in a healthy package. The time of spice is upon us.
