It’s simply been too long since we’ve covered Ghost Greens, the loaded, legendary greens formula from Ghost Lifestyle. The last time we wrote about it was Ally Besse’s Passionfruit Greens flavor, where we asked (non-rhetorically) if it was the best greens flavor on the entire market. It was that good.
While we’re hoping Ally’s delicious Passionfruit flavor will make a return, we may have something even better for the Fall of 2022:
Ghost Greens Apple Cider
You’ve heard of green apple flavors, but this is definitely not that. Instead, the legends are launching a limited-edition Ghost Greens Apple Cider flavor, which is a perfect complement for your autumn immune-boosting stack as we get ready for the cold weather season here in the Northern Hemisphere.
But don’t worry, Australians, you’re invited too — this is a global launch, kicking off on September 28, 2022. Let’s look at prices and availability, our flavor/tasting review, and then recap the formula:

Apple Cider?!
Nope — it’s not sour apple, and it’s not apple cider vinegar — this is real deal apple cider flavor, a fall favorite long before drinking vinegar re-popularized. Nothing against apple cider vinegar, but apple cider is far more delicious.
Apple cider is really just an unsweetened and unfiltered drink made from apples. As opposed to “apple juice”, which is filtered and more clear, apple cider brings a bolder, more powerful flavor. In America, we often just call it cider, but in other parts of the world, it’s sometimes known as “cloudy apple juice”. This is a non-alcoholic drink and it’s amazing.
A recap on Ghost Greens
Ghost Greens is a monstrous and incredibly-developed formula, so if you want to dive deep into its profile, read our article titled Ghost Greens: The Legends Foray Into Overall Health and Wellness. Inside, we have two major blends, each with three supporting components inside:
-
GHOST FRUITS x VEGETABLES – 6640 mg
Here, we have the legendary Super Greens blend that’s led by a large amount of Kale Powder and equal doses of matcha, wheat grass, spirulina, and chlorella — all in 500 milligram doses. These provide plenty of health-supporting chlorophyll, which can be considered the “hemoglobin of the plant world”. Additional grasses are added, and don’t miss the nice 10:1 astragalus extract added at the end.
But it’s not just all greens. The Antioxidant Reds blend provides a powerful spread of — you guessed it — antioxidants. Acai juice and pomegranate juice powders pull up the front at 500 milligrams each, and then cognition-supporting blueberry juice powder alongside cranberry powder come next. Don’t miss the jabuticaba powder that comes next, we don’t see this one too often.
After that is the Spectra Total ORAC Blend, which is a trademarked blend of 100 milligrams of highly-concentrated fruits, vegetables, and even caffeine-free coffee and green tea extracts. We’re big fans of the quercetin and turmeric inside as well, although the doses of those two won’t be large enough to ditch a separate quercetin or curcumin supplement.
-
GHOST GUT HEALTH – 2225 mg
Now it’s time to support the gut. Most greens formulas are designed to target specific health systems, and Ghost choses gut health for theirs.
Inulin serves a multifunction role, providing prebiotic fiber that helps feed your gut’s healthy bacteria… it also improves the overall taste!
After that, we have a GHOST Probiotic blend that includes a fully-disclosed and unique mix of B. subtilis and the popular Lactobacillus acidophilus followed by S. boulardii, Bacillus coagulans and B. lactis. We don’t commonly see Bacillus Subtilis, the first ingredient in the blend — it helps produce heat-resistant spores.
Finally, we have a very large digestive enzyme blend from BioCore Optimum Complete, which has many of our “common” digestive enzymes like amylase (for starches), protease (for proteins), and lactase (for lactose / milk sugars), but there’s far more included as well — like invertase and alpha-galactosidase.
Once again, see our main Ghost Greens article to dig into the research behind these powerful blends.
Other Flavors Available
Find this article too late, or just not into apple cider? That’s a shame either way, but below is the list of all Ghost Greens flavors PricePlow has seen:
It’s not hard — get your healthy cider on!
Fall time is coming, and that means that winter time is coming… and that means it’s time to double down on health to prepare for the cold winter. On top of a healthy, high-protein diet, a stacked greens / superfoods formula like this can definitely be a big piece of that puzzle.
When Ghost Greens first came out, we saw the formula and weren’t sure they’d be able to get it to taste to Ghost’s standards. But this is Ghost Lifestyle, and they don’t launch bad-tasting products. Hell, even their Ghost Fish Oil smells pretty good!
You just have to find the one that’s best for your personal preferences. And if apple cider is your style, then get in on this one quickly, because it won’t be around forever!
