Over the years, Axe & Sledge added some interesting flavors to their pre workout supplement lineup — such as Unicorn Blood, Scorpion Venom, Shark Bite, HWMF, and most recently, Whiskey & Cola!
We’re excited to announce their newest flavor, Deadlifts & Gummy Bears will be available in both Seventh Gear, a high-stim pre-workout, and The Grind, a hydration supplement with nine essential amino acids. But it’s only available for a limited time!
Every flavor that Axe & Sledge releases has a backstory.. So what was the inspiration for Deadlifts & Gummy Bears? Let us explain!
As many already know, Axe & Sledge co-founders, Seth Feroce, Patrick Williams, Mike Rhoten, and Bobby Dautrich, also own an extremely popular clothing company called All American Roughneck (AAR). Last year, AAR released a limited edition t-shirt, hoodie, hat, and tank emblazoned with “Deadlifts & Gummy Bears.” It featured a bear wearing the Axe & Sledge logo lifting a barbell.
Have Your Gummy Bears and Get Jacked Too!
Seth Feroce made a video explaining why he eats gummy bears during intense training sessions, like when he performs deadlifts. Gummy bears, which are primarily sugar, are fast-digesting carbohydrates. So they give the legendary bodybuilder extra energy when he needs to push the limits on major compound lifts, such as deadlifts. Although the average gym goer may not need a quick burst of energy mid workout — if you’re pushing yourself by lifting heavy weights, consuming quick-digesting carbohydrates intra workout can make a big difference.
As of writing this article, the famous gummy bear video has nearly 150,000 views. So Feroce had the idea to design a new limited edition apparel line, which included hats, tank tops, hoodies, and t-shirts. To no surprise, the apparel sold out within a few days.
Fast forward to September 2020, the Axe & Sledge crew perfected the gummy bear flavor for Seventh Gear and The Grind. So you can enjoy the taste of the several fruity flavored gummies without the sugar or extra calories! Axe & Sledge understands that not everyone can fit gummy bears into their diet, but you can still satisfy your cravings with a supplement that’s designed to take your training up a notch.
As we mentioned, the Deadlifts & Gummy Bears flavored Seventh Gear and The Grind is only available for a limited time. Who knows if Axe & Sledge have a plan to bring it back. So make sure you snag it while you can! The new flavor launches on September 3rd, 2020. While Axe & Sledge are notorious for their products selling out, if you miss out, don’t worry. The company has some big things coming before the end of the year. And we’re really excited to share more news with you.

Deadlifts & Gummy Bears Stack!
The two iconic Axe & Sledge supplements that are getting a new signature flavor are Seventh Gear and The Grind. It’s designed so you can stack both products before an intense training session. We’ve already reviewed Seventh Gear and The Grind in-depth on PricePlow, so here, we’ll just refresh your memory about how to get the most out of this stack.
Seventh Gear Recap
Axe & Sledge offers three types of pre-workouts. Ignition Switch contains a moderate amount of stimulants. It’s a great option if you’re new to pre-workouts or sensitive to stimulants. Hydraulic is a stimulant-free pre-workout. It’s all about muscular endurance and giving you insane pumps.
Seventh Gear is their most advanced pre-workout. It contains nearly 400 milligrams of caffeine per serving and has several ingredients for boosting power, strength, and muscular endurance. Seventh Gear is definitely not for beginners. If you’re picking it up to try Deadlifts & Gummy Bears, we suggest starting with half a serving.
Here’s what one scoop (9.8g) of Seventh Gear delivers:
-
Beta Alanine – 3.2g
-
Betaine Anhydrous – 2g
-
Creatine MagnaPower – 1.5g

The Grind Recap
The Grind is a supplement that contains solid dosages of all nine essential aminos acids, along with several ingredients to promote hydration and recovery. For best results, we recommend taking one serving intra workout or post workout. During training, amino acids help reduce the severity of protein breakdown in muscles and, at the same time, stimulate muscle protein synthesis.
Other companies typically provide three of the nine essential amino acids. For maximum effectiveness, Axe & Sledge delivers each one. And because The Grind contains no stimulants, you can take it any time of day to promote recovery and stay anabolic.
Here’s what one serving (16g) of The Grind delivers:
-
Essential Amino Acids – 2.5g
L-Lysine Hydrochloride – 750mg
L-Threonine – 750mg
L-Histidine – 500mg
L-Phenylalanine – 250mg
L-Tryptophan – 250mg
-
Branched-Chain Amino Acids – 5g
L-Leucine – 2.5g
L-Isoleucine – 1.25g
L-Valine – 1.25g
-
Hydration & Recovery Blend – 5.5g
L-Glutamine – 2.5g
Raw Coconut Water Concentrate – 1g
Betaine Anhydrous – 1g
L-Ornithine AKG – 1g

Deadlifts & Gummy Bears Stack: Grab it While you Can
It’s crazy to think that Axe & Sledge started just two years ago, in 2018, because they’ve become one of the most popular brands in the dietary supplement industry. They’ve also built an incredible community all over the world.
One reason why Axe & sledge became so successful in such a short period of time is the quality and effectiveness of their supplements. They didn’t coin the phrase “Hard working M’fer” for nothing. The folks at Axe & Sledge put their heart and soul into every new product and flavor they come out with.
As we mentioned before, every flavor has a story that reflects or supports the brand’s messaging. As for PricePlow, we hope Deadlifts & Gummy Bears comes back permanently, but we obviously have no control over that.
If you want to grab the limited edition Deadlifts & Gummy Bears stack, then act fast when the launch goes live. If you’re a candy connoisseur, this is definitely a must-try flavor.
