Promera Sports Con-Cret Whey – GMO Free Whey

Con-Cret Whey

Con-Cret Whey will be pure WPC-80 and growth hormone free!

Promera Sports has long been synonymous with one product in particular, Con-Cret, the first product to bring creatine hydrochloride to the market years back. Legions of fans have sworn by the product as a superior alternative to creatine monohydrate in terms of effectiveness and battling the bloat.

Rumors have swirled for years that Promera was developing a protein powder to add to their arsenal of products, and we’re here to report that the day is near at hand, with the announcement of Con-Cret Whey!

Before we get to the macros of the powder, check out the teaser trailer Promera has released:

Con-Cret Whey Profile

Promera Sports Con-Cret Whey Amino Acid Profile

Con-Cret Whey uses a single source 80% WPC high on protein, rich in amino acids, with NO fillers!

From the looks of it, Con-Cret Whey looks to be a straightforward whey protein product, using just whey protein concentrate (WPC). Whey concentrates range from 34-80%,[1] and the general rule of thumb is when the label doesn’t tell you what it is, it’s the cheaper 34% stuff… but good news:

WPC-80 in Con-Cret Whey!

In the description of the YouTube teaser video, Promera states, “CON-CRĒT® WHEY PROTEIN is a premium single source Whey Protein Concentrate 80” — so this will please those who don’t want as much filler in that “protein”.

Most notably, Promera’s WPC 80 is rich in the all important BCAAs with:

  • 2.566g Leucine
  • 1.413g Isoleucine
  • 1.241 Valine

Giving us over 5g of naturally-occurring highly anabolic BCAAs in each scoop!

Some additional details have been released about the quality of the WPC. Con-Cret Whey will be:

  • Gluten-Free
  • GMO Free
  • Growth Hormone Free

Most protein powders don’t advertise GMO-Free / Growth Hormone Free (one popular exception is Muscle Elements TRUTH), so that is the bigger difference maker here.

While we usually prefer blends that contain isolates first, due to the prevalence of individuals who have digesting straight WPC, it is at least refreshing to see Promera use higher standard sources for their whey that are free of hormones for the consumers who care about that.

Macro Breakdown

Promera Sports Con-Cret Whey Ingredients

Con-Cret Whey packs 24g of Hormone Free Whey Protein Concentrate in each scoop, but what quality of WPC is included?

  • Calories: 120
  • Protein: 24g
  • Fats: 1.5g (1g saturated)

Flavors Available

Promera’s Con-Cret Whey will come in 2-lb tubs and come in two unique twists on old standard flavors:
