Raw Nutrition Collab Brings RWB Flavor of Bum Hydration

Fresh off his fifth consecutive Mr. Olympia Classic Physique win, Chris Bumstead presents a new entry to Raw Nutrition’s BUM Hydration line with a brand-new R.W.B. (Red, White, and Blue) flavor.

Raw Nutrition Bum Hydration RWB

This product line not only mirrors the visionary approach of the reigning men’s Classic Physique Olympia champion but also seamlessly collaborates with the expertise of the GBRS Group, a veteran-owned training organization committed to equipping military and special operations units with improved skills.

With a meticulously crafted formula encompassing coconut fruit water powder, sodium, and potassium, this collaboration not only aligns with the precision of sports nutrition but brings the famous “red, white, and blue” flavoring that we often taste as cherry, lemon-lime, and blue raspberry.

But the big question is, does BUM Hydration fit the bill for your training?

Let’s take a deep dive into the label to determine if this could be the right fit for your training needs.

BUM Hydration Ingredients

The full ingredient listing is in our article titled Raw Nutrition BUM Hydration Offers Affordable Electrolytes, but here’s a listing of what you get each scoop:

  • Vitamin C – 50mg (56% DV)

    Raw Nutrition CBum Hydration Ingredients

The famous antioixidant vitamin that’s been shown to reduce length and severity of colds also helps athletically by supporting nitric oxide production and preventing muscle damage post-exercise.

  • Niacin (as Niacinamide) – 2mg (13% DV)

The “flush-free” form of niacin, also known as vitamin B3. You can learn about it in the biochemistry portion of our large FDA vs. NMN article (NMN is another form of B3).

  • Vitamin B6 (as Pyridoxine HCl) – 1mg (59% DV)

A coenzyme that may play a role in energy production and utilization.

  • Vitamin B12 (as Methylcobalamin) – 1mcg (42% DV)

Another B-vitamin that supports cognitive function as well as the metabolism.

  • Calcium (from Calcium Citrate) – 40mg (3% DV)

Just a small amount, if you need more, try Raw Nutrition’s CBum Itholate protein!

  • Magnesium (from Magnesium Bisglycinate Chelate) – 30mg (7% DV)

A chelated form (bound to glycine) of the key mineral that’s too often deficient in modern diets. Magnesium supports the metabolism, muscle function, nerve transmission, and so much more.

  • Zinc (from Zinc Citrate) – 2mg (18% DV)

Raw Nutrition CBum Thavage Pre-Workout 4 PEAT

You knew it was coming… CBUM’s 4 PEAT flavor of Raw Nutrition’s Thavage Pre-Workout! We’re still waiting for 5 PEAT though!

A good “starter amount” of the mineral so important for hormone status, immunity, fertility, and more. We generally get 25-30 milligrams in supplementally daily, so you can still take more without overdoing it.

  • Sodium (from Sodium Citrate) – 230mg (10% DV)

The key mineral in Raw Hydration, as it’s the one that’s lost most frequently through sweat. Sodium is critically important for muscle contractions, and after depletion, low sodium status can lead to reduced performance and muscle cramping.

  • Potassium (from Potassium Citrate and Dipotassium Phosphate) – 175mg (4% DV)

One of the most difficult minerals to get in, yet one that’s often needed in greater amounts that sodium, potassium is hugely important for its role in cardiovascular health. Too often, hypertension (high blood pressure) is blamed on “high sodium” when in reality, low potassium has been shown more to blame. Get this and more!

  • Taurine – 1g

The famous do-it-all osmolyte that’s conditionally essential, we’ll nearly always take more taurine. Beyond supporting cellular hydration, it improves mitochondrial health (which basically means body health) and has been shown to reliably improve endurance, especially at 1 gram or more!

  • Coconut Fruit Water Powder – 500mg

A tasty way of getting a bit more potassium into a supplement to support the sodium-to-potassium ratio.
