The Chef Bob Transcription
“Welcome back guys, still on the Cor Fetti train. This is going to be a regular pancake video, and what we’re going to use is 30 grams of the Cor Fetti Cake Batter COR Performance Whey. Eight grams of sugar-free fat-free Jello pudding mix, about three to five grams of baking powder, three grams of Splenda, and the Hungry Jack Funfetti pancake mix at three servings. If you wanted to you could use a complete pancake mix instead, use about 120 grams worth. I use the Hungry Jack because it complements the Cor Fetti very well.
In a bowl, use two stiffened egg whites. To stiffen them, take two regular egg whites (not the liquid ones), beat them with a mixer for about three to five minutes until it stiffens to a firm peak. We also need 100 grams of almond milk and 25 grams of Greek yogurt.
So, take all your dry, and combine with your wet, like so. And what we’ll slowly do is take our stiffened egg whites here, and you put these in last. And guys, when you fold an egg white, you go from the outside in. Just repeat the process until you get a good cake batter-like consistency.
Pre-heat the griddle on a medium heat so you don’t burn the pancakes. Once it’s folded up, we’re gonna start grilling.
As you can see, the batter is nice and thick, a good consistency. So now we take our cooking spray, take our pre-heated griddle and give it a little coat-down. Now, these may not be the most circular pancakes, but the reason we’re using a griddle instead of a little skillet is that it would take forever to cook one in the skillet. So we’re gonna cook lots at a time because Chef Bob says hey, it’s time to eat.
So make little pancakes on the griddle, I’m gonna do three at a time. They may not be the most circular, but I’m gonna try and flatten them out a little bit, so that way they get a nice texture. Now, we’ll give these a minute to bubble, then give them a flip. Just get under one real simple, and boom, quick flip. Now look at that Cor Fetti shining through there with the Funfetti pancake mix! Give these a minute, let them rise, then we’ll finish them off.
Oh yeah, these are money. You can see the final product for our pancake is a little golden-brown, not crispy. And guys, we have ourselves some pancakes! Now when you’re done, what can you do with them? Well, you can make protein pudding with the Cor Fetti and top them off. Or use Walden Farms syrup, a little bit of honey, dice up some bananas, get creative. So if you guys want to enjoy some nice pancakes after your workout, fire it up and give it a go. Thanks again!”
