How Revive’s blood testing works

It starts by emailing the Revive Medical Team (labs@revivedx.com) along with a copy of your driver’s license, health insurance information, and proof of Revive MD purchase. A patient coordinator will contact you for next steps and send out your blood work kit.

You will then take the blood work kit along with your paperwork to a Revive MD Clinic or a recommended 3rd party lab. That lab will draw blood and complete testing at their facility, and send the results back to Revive MD.

Revive MD Blood Testing Requirements

What you need to get started

Revive MD will then review the results and a physician will contact you with a brief review of them. You will receive a brief consultation with one of Revive’s medical doctors to understand the blood work and get suggestions on who can help you improve the markers.

About the costs

The Revive MD Clinic is covering the cost of the blood draw. If you are not near a nation-wide clinic, you’ll be responsible for the phlebotomist fee incurred at the 3rd party lab to draw your blood, which is generally $30-50.

Blood Test Vials

How many vials can you handle at once?!

If you are insured and use a recommended clinic, you will receive the blood work draw and consultation free.

What if I’m not insured?

Revive MD is still helping those who are not insured. They will provide a discounted rate on blood testing and consultations. Even then, if you can get blood drawn at a Revive MD clinic, they will still cover that cost, but that is location dependent.

Overall, in the non-insured option, the process is the same as above, only you need to pay for the blood work kit.

Note that these offers are good for two times per year for each customer.

Why get regular blood work?

Blood work provides a “big picture” view of internal body function and health, and looks at organ function, lipid function, hemoglobin levels, vitamin levels and more. This can tell you how your organs are working, if they’re taxed, or if there are hazardous levels of markers associated with health problems over time.

Revive MD Female Lipid

The key to blood work is tracking trends and charting progress. One-time snapshots are better than nothing, but the real power is getting time-series data of your most important markers.

Along with Revive MD’s supplements, which are formulated to improve various health markers, the blood work (and its trends) will help you determine your supplement stack and watch how it’s positively affecting your health.

Note: Revive MD is sure to disclaim that this service is different from Revive Therapy & Wellness Clinics. Blood work completed by Revive Therapy & Wellness is an extensive testing service offered to patients, and has its own costs.

The Revive MD Team

At the time of writing, Revive MD’s Medical Team has a board of over ten medical doctors, one PhD, and thousands of case studies – those numbers are certain to grow over the coming years.

But that team all begins with Dr. Domenic Iacovone, one of the two masterminds behind both Revive MD and the sports nutrition centric RAW Nutrition.
