GHOST® ENERGY and SOUR STRIPS® are teaming up again, and this year's collab lands with a flavor the partnership has never used before: Appleberry.
The limited-time offering arrives in GHOST's 16 fl oz energy drink cans, with a Secure-A-Can window on the GHOST app running from 12:00pm CT on August 12th through 11:59am CT on August 13th. Product packages are expected around August 28th, ahead of a full national retail flow-in on September 9th.
Underneath the new flavor sits the same GHOST Energy formula that's carried the brand through years of licensed collabs: 200mg of natural caffeine, a full gram each of Carnipure® L-carnitine and taurine, and zero sugar. GHOST and Sour Strips have run this collab every year since 2023 using Sour Strips Rainbow, including a third run that landed on September 9th, 2025. Appleberry breaks that streak. This year's national flow-in lands on the same September 9th date, but for the first time, a different flavor is headlining the partnership.

Appleberry: Tart Apple, Sweet Berry, Serious Sour
Appleberry is one of SOUR STRIPS®' longtime candy flavors: a mashup of tart green apple and sweet berry on a single strip, finished with the brand's signature sour sugar coating. GHOST's version carries that combination into the can as natural and artificial flavor, with no fruit juice involved. Crack open a 16 fl oz can and the flavor plays out the same way the candy does, apple first, berry close behind, with a sour edge that fades as you keep drinking. It should be a more straightforward flavor experience than some of GHOST's other collabs, closer to the actual candy than a "cream" or "soda" reinterpretation.

- Carnipure® L-Carnitine L-Tartrate – 1000mg: This form of L-carnitine helps shuttle fatty acids into the mitochondria for energy production. GHOST uses Carnipure specifically because it holds up better in a liquid can than other L-carnitine forms.
- Taurine – 1000mg: An amino acid tied to several performance-related functions, dosed at a full gram since GHOST Energy's original launch.
- Natural Caffeine – 200mg: Sourced from coffee bean, this dose sits in line with most other energy drinks on the market and gives Appleberry the same kick as every other GHOST Energy flavor.
- Alpha-GPC – 150mg: A choline source included to support focus alongside the caffeine's energy boost.
- NeuroFactor™ – 100mg: A coffee fruit extract that adds to GHOST's cognitive-support angle without contributing more caffeine.
- AstraGin® rounds out the panel at 25mg, supporting absorption of the ingredients above it.
