PEScience Brings Strawberry Kiwi to Your Pre Workout!

PEScience specializes in formulating supplements that emphasize athletic performance and athletic nutrition in a broad range of categories.

PEScience Strawberry Kiwi

PEScience brings another fresh flavor to its pre workout lineup – Strawberry Kiwi!

That being said, the company is arguably just as renowned for their incredible flavors. So after coming to market with a few new labels, that’s precisely where PEScience has turned their attention. Both Prolific and High Volume, PEScience’s stimulant-based and pump-focused pre-workouts, are receiving a brand new flavor!

Introducing Strawberry Kiwi from PEScience!

It’s been a little over a year since PEScience introduced Prolific and High Volume in Sour Green Apple. Recently, they felt the need to shake things up again, and they’re keeping things fruity with Strawberry Kiwi. The two products already have quite a few flavors to choose from, but nobody ever really complains about a strawberry flavor system with a twist.

This brings something unique to the pre-workout market, and that fresh jolt of flavor comes in Strawberry Kiwi. If previous flavors serve as any indication, it’s due to be a tasty addition to these two excellent formulas, which PEScience has gotten really good at flavoring and keeping shelf stable.

We have a bit more info on this new flavor and the products that offer it below, but first, let’s take a quick look at where you can get them:

PricePlow’s Strawberry Kiwi PEScience flavor review

We were fortunate enough to get our hands on the Strawberry Kiwi flavor for both pre-workouts when it was initially released. Check out our thoughts on it below:

Offered in two excellent PEScience pre-workouts!

Prolific: a caffeine-powered training tool

Prolific is PEScience’s stimulant-powered pre-workout formula, constructed to supply a solid dose of energy and ergogenic aids to boost performance in the gym. While we recommend checking out our full blog post for a more thorough analysis of the label, here’s a quick overview of what you can find in each two-scoop serving:

PEScience Prolific High Volume Dumbbells

Crush your workouts with the help of PEScience!

  • 6 grams of L-citrulline to improve endurance while increasing nitric oxide (NO) production for some muscular pumps.[1]
  • 2.5 grams of betaine, an ingredient that has been shown to increase training volume and power output when in the gym.[2,3]
  • 1.5 grams of taurine to increase time to exhaustion and accelerate muscle recovery post-training.[4,5]
  • 320 milligrams of caffeine, coming in two forms:- caffeine anhydrous and dicaffeine malate. The former is a fast-hitting form of caffeine, while the latter is a bit slower-acting, making for a longer-lasting total energy boost.
  • 250 milligrams of citicoline to boost acetylcholine levels in the brain,[6] which can increase focus.[6]
  • 200 milligrams of L-theanine, which has an interesting synergy with caffeine. When used together, theanine can help take the edge off the stimulant, yielding a clean, focused boost in energy.[7]
  • 100 milligrams of Rhodiola rosea extract, which has been shown to attenuate mental and physical fatigue.[8] By limiting fatigue, Prolific can ultimately improve athletic performance.[9]
  • 100 milligrams of coffee fruit extract (NeuroFactor), which increases brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF).[10] This can further boost cognition and mental focus,[10] in addition to overall mood and memory.[11]

High Volume: Nitric oxide and water-based pump inducer

In contrast to Prolific, High Volume set its sights on one thing, and one thing only: muscle pumps. Taking aim at pumps through both nitric oxide (NO) production and water saturation, this formula is quite effective at delivering both at once. Here’s what each one-scoop serving provides:

PEScience High Volume Strawberry Kiwi

High Volume is one of the original game-changing stimulant-free pre workout supplements that brought insane pumps without the caffeine!

  • 4 grams of L-citrulline, used here mainly for NO production.
  • 3.75 grams of a Performance Pump Matrix, which contains taurine, glycerol powder, and ferulic acid. Glycerol improves hydration and endurance,[12] while also bringing water-based pumps into the fold. Ferulic acid has been shown to improve blood flow,[13] making it a fitting inclusion in a pump-inducing formula. Even more interesting, animal research has shown that as little as 30mg/day yielded improvements in recovery, strength, endurance, and muscle mass![14,15]
  • 2 grams of NO3-T, also known as arginine nitrate, which leverages the two pathways (arginine-based and nitrates) in which one can increase NO levels.[16]
  • 1 gram of agmatine sulfate, which is a metabolite of arginine that has been shown to increase blood arginine levels, and thus, NO synthesis.[17]

Stack them both for all-around pre-workout enhancement

While Prolific and High Volume are great options within their respective categories, the two can be stacked together to form a comprehensive pre-workout that delivers on all fronts — increased energy, improved endurance, and muscular pumps. PEScience created each formula separately to allow for their use in isolation or together, giving users some freedom to customize their workouts. Choosing one or the other can certainly be effective, but choosing both yields a well-rounded, potent experience.

PEScience Strawberry Kiwi Deadlift

You haven’t deadlifted until you’ve deadlifted freaklishly large kiwi fruit!

For example, let’s say you only want a very light amount of caffeine – 80mg or so – but still want full-rounded pumps. Then you could take half of a scoop of Prolific, and 1-1.5 scoops of High Volume, and not have to worry about mixing mismatched flavors!

The fact that PEScience offers both products in the same flavor makes this extremely easy to do. Whether you’re a fan of Cotton Candy, Sour Green Apple, or the brand-new Strawberry Kiwi, consider stacking both formulas! If you’re really creative, you could mix and match flavors, but your mileage will vary there!

Check out PEScience’s other flavors

While we’re excited to see Strawberry Kiwi enter the fold, PEScience offers both Prolific and High Volume in a few other flavors that are just as tasty. With quite an array of available flavors, odds are that you’ll find at least one that suits your taste.

Here are the available flavors for Prolific:

PEScience Sour Green Apple PricePlow

Sour Green Apple originally launched in High Volume, Amino IV, and Prolific, but then became available in Alphamine as well

The question is if this will beat our current favorite Prolific flavor, Melon Berry Twist. To find out, see the video embedded up top when it’s live!

Here are the available flavors for High Volume:

    PEScience Supplement Stack

Create an epic stack with Select Protein, Alphamine (or Prolific, but not both!), and High Volume from PEScience!

Creative products and flavors: the brand that’s constantly on a roll

      PEScience REM-3

Feel like modern sleep aids are nearly putting you in the grave? Then it’s time for PEScience REM-3.

At the end of 2020, PEScience unveiled winter themed flavors for their premier protein products: Peppermint Bark Select Protein and Mint Chocolate Select Vegan Protein. Since then, the brand turned its attention toward creating new formulas, which we’ve highlighted on the PricePlow Blog and linked below. In each release, PEScience took aim at a different market, extending into areas their supplements had yet to reach:

      • VersaCARB, a carbohydrate supplement that, powered by Carb10, was built for athletes.
      • TruI3C, which uses indole-3-carbinol to help regulate hormone production.
      • REM-3, a simple but effective product capable of improving sleep quality.

They consistently put out unique products but don’t forget the original formulas with huge user bases always looking for new flavors. Introducing Strawberry Kiwi to both Prolific and High Volume demonstrates that. This new flavor is a welcome addition to both of the brand’s effective pre-workout formulas, giving consumers more variety when choosing between (or choosing both) of these great formulas!

PEScience pre-workouts get a new, sweet addition

      Select Select Protein Cake Pop

Cake Pop flavored Select Protein is here – the icing and the golden yellow cake all in one sip!

A brand that puts quality and performance above all else, PEScience has solidified a place amongst the industry’s best. Product quality, in particular, has always been extremely important to the brand. Extensive research goes into each product prior to release, with MySelect Testing ensuring the purity of each and every batch. This also guarantees that each label contains what it says, which in virtually every instance, is an effective, purposed array of ingredients.

While this translates to Select Protein being a high-quality protein powder, Prolific an energizing pre-workout booster, and High Volume a potent pump-inducer, PEScience also knows how to flavor extremely well. Their awesome flavor system consistently hits the mark, delivering great-tasting products with each and every new release.
