Musclesport Lean Whey Summer Scoops 2024 Flavors Are Here!

The summer is nearly upon us, and that means hot nights and even hotter days. But it doesn’t mean that we can let the summer lethargy impede our progress when it comes to the gym. We still need to be out there pumping that iron and getting those gains.

Musclesport Summerscoops

Musclesport’s Summer Scoops Series is back for 2024, available in four flavors: Rocky Road, Orange Creme, Pistachio Ice Cream, and Toasted Almond!

As anyone getting into fitness knows, protein intake is a critical factor for ensuring those gains hit the right places. However, it’s pretty easy during the warm months to lose track of time, skip meals, and fall short of your protein targets. Protein powders are an excellent, convenient solution to knock back 25 (maybe even 50) grams of protein in a cold, refreshing milkshake.

MuscleTech Lean Whey: Summer Scoops 2024!

Musclesport’s Lean Whey stands out for its formulation – the inclusion of the Fat Metabolizing Matrix is a gamechanger – and for its flavors, which are always unique and gourmet. In anticipation of Summer, Musclesport is releasing a Summer Scoops collection of flavors, drawing inspiration from four different flavors of ice cream:

  1. Pistachio Ice Cream
  2. Rocky Road
  3. Toasted Almond
  4. Orange Creamsicle

We can think of no better protein flavors to beat the heat!

It’s all about protein and the lean extras here:

Lean Whey Protein Matrix (29g)

Musclesport Summer Scoops Pistacchio

The Lean Whey Protein Matrix contains two types of whey protein: Cold-Infused Micro-Filtrated Whey Protein Isolate and Hydrolyzed Whey Protein. Whey protein isolate is highly regarded due to its complete amino acid profile and excellent bioavailability, allowing for quick absorption that peaks about an hour after intake. This type of whey contains all nine essential amino acids, unlike many plant proteins.

Hydrolyzed whey, on the other hand, is processed into smaller amino acid chains, making it extremely easy to digest and quick to induce an insulin response, which is beneficial for athletes’ recovery. The overall protein content of Lean Whey is 80% by weight, slightly less pure than the whey protein isolate alone, which is 90%, but still of high quality due to the pre-hydrolyzation process.

Lean Whey Fat Metabolizing Matrix (4.15g)

Next, see the components of the Lean Whey Fat Metabolizing Matrix, a dietary supplement designed to support gastrointestinal and overall metabolic health. The matrix sometimes differs from flavor to flavor, but often includes:

hey Fat Metabolizing Matrix Rocky Road

  • Fibersol-2, a highly soluble corn fiber that enhances gut health by promoting beneficial bacteria
  • MCTs (medium-chain triglycerides), which are known for improving gut flora and potentially aiding in the treatment of IBS due to their high absorption rates and energy provision for gut lining repair.
  • L-Carnitine Tartrate is included to transport fatty acids into cells for energy conversion, essential for metabolic processes.
  • Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) is noted for its fat loss benefits while preserving lean muscle mass by boosting metabolism and inhibiting certain enzymes.
  • Lactase (in some flavors) which aids in the digestion of lactose from dairy, making the supplement more digestible for those with lactose intolerance.
  • Lastly, the formula sometimes includes IGNITOR, an amino-releasing matrix aimed at enhancing the release of amino acids from proteins

Last year, the Summer Scoops flavors each came out separately, and above we have individual posts for each of them. This year, it’s all one big launch!

    Summertime Decadence

    Musclesport Summer Scoops Orange Creme

Summer is the season of ice cream. Unfortunately, ice cream doesn’t fit very well into the diet plans of most athletes. So what’s the next best thing? Protein powders that taste like ice cream – a big serving of protein to serve your macro goals, nearly zero grams of sugar, and flavors that somehow taste nearly identical to the real thing.

It’s easy to overlook how difficult authentic flavoring can be, especially when a brand like Musclesport makes it look effortless. Don’t miss out on future launches — see our Musclesport News page and sign up for our alerts to get notified of the next drops!
