March is shaping up to be a big month for Ghost collaborations. We got news that Ghost was doing a protein collab in both Whey and Vegan with Cinnabon, the classic food court staple in shopping malls everywhere.
But that’s not the only collab we’re getting from Ghost next month. In what is bound to be exciting news for hardcore gamers everywhere, Ghost’s collaboration with FaZe Clan, one of the premier e-sports groups in the world, is coming to fruition.
FaZe Pop
So what does a FaZe flavor taste like? In preparation for summer, FaZe Pop is described as containing “classic raspberry and citrus notes”, inspired by the ever-patriotic and standard cold American treat: the rocket pop.
It seems that everyone is getting a headstart on the sunny season – you’d almost forget that it’s still February. But we can all dream of sunnier climes; it’s close enough, after all.
The FaZe Pop flavor is being released for two products in the Ghost line: Ghost Energy and Ghost Gamer. We’re going to get into how both products work, but first, let’s check PricePlow for good Ghost deals:

Ghost Energy
For a more in-depth ingredient analysis on the rising star in the energy drink market, check out our article titled “Ghost Energy Drink: Cans That Rebel Against the Status Quo”. Here’s a quick rundown:
- Carnipure L-Carnitine L-Tartrate (1000mg) is a high-quality form of L-carnitine, an important molecule known for its role in fatty acid metabolism and energy production. Ghost Energy uses CarniPure from Lonza because it’s stable in liquid form and doesn’t break down like other forms (like acetyl-L-carnitine), which would otherwise affect the product’s flavor.
- Taurine (1000mg) as one of Ghost Energy’s key ingredients due to the many health and performance benefits it provides. Taurine, a sulfur-containing amino acid, has been shown in studies to improve insulin sensitivity, muscle force, glycogen resynthesis, and recovery, and it is also an underrated endurance booster.
- Natural caffeine (200mg) from coffee bean extract is featured in Ghost Energy instead of the typical caffeine anhydrous. This provides a steady burst of energy, but without the residual byproducts seen from synthetic caffeine manufacturing. Natural caffeine reportedly leads to smoother effects.
- Alpha-GPC (150mg) is a well-known choline donor and is highly bioavailable, serving as a precursor to acetylcholine. Supplementing high doses of alpha-GPC has been shown to enhance cognitive performance, growth hormone production, and power output.
- NeuroFactor (100mg), which is a coffee fruit extract capable of improving mental energy, cognition, focus, and boosting levels of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) in the brain. BDNF plays an essential role in overall brain health and function, and it has been linked to neuroprotection, improved learning capability, mood, and memory.
- AstraGin (25mg) from NuLiv Science helps to enhance the absorption and bioavailability of nutrients, especially amino acids. AstraGin consists of a combination of two root extracts that activate specific transporter molecules within the small intestine, leading to greater nutrient absorption, and also promote gut health by increasing good bacteria growth and decreasing inflammation.

Ghost Gamer Ingredients
Even more fitting for a FaZe collab, Ghost Gamer is a formula specifically aimed at enhancing gaming performance. It’s an awesome formula that utilizes nooLVL, an ingredient from Nutrition21, that has been demonstrated to improve many functions correlated with gaming performance.
-
nooLVL (1600mg) from Nutrition21 is considered one of the most effective gaming ingredients available – with the research to back it up.
This non-stimulant, patented blend of bonded arginine silicate and inositol has been clinically demonstrated to improve performance, accuracy, speed, decision-making, and reaction time in people who play video games for five or more hours per week. The research was done with gamers playing modern video games like Madden, Call of Duty, and Fortnite (learn more in our main nooLVL article).
- Taurine (1000mg) is included in Ghost Gamer for all of the same reasons as it is in Ghost Energy, but in the context of gaming, taurine is essential for the development of photoreceptor cells and can protect against potential neuronal damage caused by stress, and inadequate consumption of it can lead to several neurological conditions that impact memory and learning.
- Tyrosine (1000mg) is an amino acid that can be produced by the body or found in certain animals and plants, and it is highly concentrated in the brain. It acts as a precursor to neurotransmitters like dopamine, epinephrine, and norepinephrine, which can become depleted during long gaming sessions, leading to mental fatigue. Supplementing with L-tyrosine can improve mood, cognition, focus, physical performance, and help overcome high-stress situations.
- Cognizin Citicoline (500mg), an easily absorbable form of choline that promises maximum results. Cognizin, a potent nootropic and brain-boosting ingredient, is clinically proven to increase focus, attention, and mental energy by enhancing blood flow, preserving the structure of cells, and improving neurotransmitter activity and mitochondrial function.
- Raw coconut powder (500mg) is an effective source of electrolytes for rehydration, as research has found it to be just as effective as sports drinks at rehydrating the body. Coconut powder is known to be high in potassium, which is often a shortfall nutrient in modern western diets.
- Like in Ghost Energy, Gamer utilizes natural caffeine (150mg) for a smoother stimulant feeling than the common “dirtier”, jittery feeling that comes from other types of caffeine.
- Gamer utilizes Astragin (50mg) as well to improve ingredient absorption, particularly of amino acids.
- Theobromine (40mg) has been shown to have stimulant, appetite suppressant, and anti-inflammatory properties. Theobromine and caffeine have similar mechanisms of action that synergistically work to enhance mental energy by inhibiting adenosine from binding to its receptors, and recent studies suggest that theobromine may also improve working memory.

The original FaZe Clan announcement
This has been a long time coming. You can see Ghost’s original announcement in Episode S8:E29 of their famous YouTube series, Building the Brand, titled “GHOST x FAZECLAN”:
Don’t look directly into the lasers!
FaZe Up and Game On!
FaZe Clan is a huge name in the gaming world. They’ve built a megalithic brand for themselves in the twelve years since their humble debut as a clan of three Call of Duty players in 2010. They pioneered the practice and sport of trickshotting in Call of Duty and used their YouTube channel as a launch pad for becoming one of the pioneers in the burgeoning e-sports arena.
As for Ghost, their breakneck flavor development speed doesn’t seem to have slowed this year. In an industry full of unmemorable brands and generic flavors, Ghost is consistently a cut above the rest when it comes to building formulas, flavors, partnerships and hype.
