Shawn Wells, who also goes under his personal brand of ZoneHalo (social media links below), is a scientist with a vast amount of knowledge in the fields of nutrition and supplementation, especially when it comes to blood sugar management, the keto diet, and nootropics. Shawn attended UNC-Chapel Hill, earning a Master’s Degree in Nutritional Biochemistry with a minor in Exercise Science.

Shawn has several “letters after his last name” — he is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Sport Nutritionist (CISSN). He’s held the role of Chief Clinical Dietitian with over a decade in nursing care. Now he runs Zone Halo Research while being the and is the former Chief Science Officer (CSO) at BioTRUST Nutrition, running R&D, Quality Control, and Regulatory departments.

Previously, Shawn took his experience and passion to become Director of R&D at Dymatize Nutrition. Dymatize Nutrition, now owned by Post Holdings.
