Ghost Energy Bubblicious Cotton Candy Sets New Bar in Energy Drink Flavors

The hottest energy drink on the market is getting a brand new flavor, and it’s a home run. The hard-charging, flashy Ghost Lifestyle originally released Ghost Energy three years ago, and since then, we’ve seen some incredible collaborations like Swedish Fish as well as some game-changing standalone flavors like Orange Cream and Cherry Limeade.

Ghost Energy is now in Bubblicious Cotton Candy, and it’s a phenomenal flavor!

Now, we get another flavor from Ghost’s collab rolodex: Bubblicious Cotton Candy Ghost Energy!

This isn’t the first Bubblicious flavor for Ghost Energy. In both 2021 and 2022 – almost to the day – we were treated to Bubblicious Strawberry Splash, which will also return for 2023. We noted then that standard bubble gum flavors usually don’t translate very well to drinks, but the strawberry component of Strawberry Splash made it a whole different story.

This year it’s Bubblicious Cotton Candy. And while drinkable cotton candy doesn’t seem like an intuitive flavor, it simply works. Put simply, this flavor knocks it out of the park. Our very own Ben Kane thinks it’s one of the best Ghost Energy flavors yet, putting it squarely in his “Top 3”.

Ghost Energy’s formula is solid. We especially appreciate the addition of taurine, which we feel doesn’t get enough love in the energy drink industry. You can read a full scientific analysis in our main Ghost Energy Drink article, but here’s a quick rundown of the ingredients inside:

• Carnipure L-Carnitine L-Tartrate (1000mg) is a fatty acid transporter that helps streamline ATP production, which in turn stimulates metabolism and fat burning.
• Taurine (1000mg) helps to improve muscular endurance, glycogen resynthesis, and mitochondrial function. Its inclusion in Ghost energy is a major plus.
• Natural Caffeine (from Coffee Bean) (200mg) helps provide a smoother stimulation than synthetic alternatives. At 200 milligrams of naturally-sourced caffeine, you’re getting a nice sweet spot as far as caffeine goes. Not too little, and not too much.
• Alpha-GPC 50% (150mg) is a powerful source of choline, the precursor to acetylcholine. Acetylcholine is a neurotransmitter that has a wide-ranging impact on cognitive performance.

A balanced formula with incredible flavors

As far as the Ghost Energy formula goes, it can best be described as sensible. Using quality ingredients like taurine and natural caffeine, nothing about Ghost Energy feels dirty or too stimulating like many other energy drinks on the market. It’s a smooth option, guaranteed to get you into third gear.

That’s all great. It’s dependable. But where Ghost Energy really shines is in its flavor systems. We can’t remember the last time a Ghost Energy flavor didn’t make a big splash.
