BUM Energy Peach Mango Flavor for the Cognizin Powered Drink

BUM Energy Peach Mango

Energy drinks are as hot as ever. More and more, new offerings line the shelves of retail shops around the country. On a long road trip? Stop for some gas, walk into the station, and pick yourself up a nice caffeinated treat to sip on in the car so you don’t veer off into the median at 3 in the morning.

In February of 2023, Raw Nutrition released their contribution to the energy drink market. Called BUM Energy in honor of Chris Bumstead, the can offered something fresh: simplicity. Now, it’s time for a new flavor.

BUM Energy: Peach Mango

Whereas the rest of the energy market seems like an arms race to see who can pack the most ingredients and caffeine in their cans, Raw took a different approach. In fact, at 112 milligrams, there’s barely more caffeine than a cup of coffee. Paired with a single additional active ingredient – citicoline – BUM Energy is deliciously reserved.

The newly-released flavor is called Peach Mango, and it’s sure to provide the refreshing boost you need to complete the task at hand.

We’re going to dive into a little summary on how BUM Energy works, but first, let’s check the PricePlow for good BUM deals, and check out our video review of the new flavor:

BUM Energy – How It Works

Bum Energy

Bum Energy has just 112 milligrams of natural caffeine! Image taken from a previous flavor

Like we said, BUM Energy is simple. Standing at 5 calories and two active ingredients, you don’t have to worry about fillers or a dirty-feeling rush. Here are the ingredients:

  • Cognizin Citicoline (250mg), also known as CDP-Choline, is a specially formulated type of choline by Kyowa Hakko, designed for high bioavailability, enhanced user experience, and cell membrane support. It plays a crucial role in repairing cell membranes and acts as a precursor to acetylcholine, a key neurotransmitter in learning and memory processes. Research has shown that citicoline significantly improves focus, attention, and mental energy, with its components choline and uridine boosting cerebral blood flow and stabilizing mitochondrial function.
  • Most energy drinks contain a high caffeine content, equivalent to multiple cups of coffee, which can lead to unwanted side effects like jitters and anxiety. BUM Energy differentiates itself by offering only 112 milligrams of natural caffeine sourced from coffee beans, roughly the amount in a single cup of coffee, which is less likely to cause these negative effects.

    A time and a place

There is a time and a place for knock-your-socks-off caffeine intake. Maybe you’re gearing up to set a new one rep max, or cramming for a final exam, and you really need a huge leap in energy levels. Most of the time, though, a lighter, more manageable dose of caffeine does the job in a much more comfortable way.

When you add in citicoline for a focus boost, it’s hard to call BUM Energy anything less than refreshingly to-the-point. Then it becomes all about flavor, and with Peach Mango, Raw has knocked it out of the park.
