Just a couple of week after launching its newest product with Select Protein Bars, PEScience has already added its third flavor to the lineup:
Chocolate Fudge Brownie!
Even better news, the company claims that “This is their best flavor yet!” — although we have a hard time believing that given how much we like the white chocolate raspberry flavor!
The hot brand just keeps getting hotter – just a couple of months after launching an exclusive Strawberry Cheesecake flavored Select Protein powder, PEScience quickly moved forward to unveil its latest protein product with Select Protein Bars.
For the fans clamoring for a traditional chocolate flavored bar, PEScience delivered and expanded its flavor options to:
- Fudge Brownie
- White Chocolate Raspberry
- and Chocolate Peanut Butter
We recently did the deep-dive on this latest innovation from PEScience (see our Select Protein Bar review on YouTube), at least one of us can tell you that these bars are going to be good news for chocolate lovers…
We’ve reviewed these bars on the YouTube channel (see above) and will keep up with newer flavors, so make sure to subscribe and stay tuned to get our thoughts on PES’s latest innovation!

Chocolate Fudge Brownie Select Bar Nutrition Facts
As far as nutrition is concerned, it looks as if the latest flavor addition will pack a similar calorie content as the the original two flavors with:
- 200 calories
- 26g of carbs (12g net carbs, because…)
- 14g of fiber (yes, this is real fiber)
- 17g of protein
- 8g of fat
- 1g of sugar
- and 8g of sugar alcohols
Take or add a gram of fat or ten calories, but each bar is very close to the other flavors in terms of its nutritional profile. The fiber content might be enough to knock you out of your socks, but some people seem to enjoy the super high fiber bars, especially if not getting enough fiber in elsewhere.
Mike’s quick review on the chocolate fudge brownie flavor
Mike chiming in! As you can see, I just got them in and took some close-up shots for you. They definitely hit a great chocolate brownie consistency to them, and the “fudge” feel is there. They’re soft and thick-textured bars, once again (but also remember that these are hot off the press so they better be soft!)
While PES thinks these are their best flavor, I have to disagree, because I like white chocolate raspberry that much. But I’m putting this at my #2 flavor, and chocolate lovers will definitely need to try these sooner than later.
What’s cool about this flavor is that they still put some whey crisps in the extrusion, so it’s like a “brownie with crisp” — not 100% soft brownie. The texture is appreciated here, but if you’re not expecting it, you may be surprised. So there’s your warning.
Overall, fantastic stuff. But I’m sticking with the “fit chick flavor” of white chocolate raspberry as my #1.
Chocolate lovers rejoice
PEScience makes their products extremely carefully and fans will agree that each of their products are high-quality and proven.
