Forskolin-95+ by PEScience: Increased cAMP abounds!

PES Forskolin-95+

Forskolin-95+ is the first in PES’ new line of Superior Essentials products that brings high quality bulk ingredients with some bonus add-ons!

The fat-burning pros at PEScience are back at it again!

Just a few months ago, PES released their caffeine free, ultra-stackable fat burner, Shift.

Now, the brand is expanding their horizon once again with their Superior Essentials of products.

Forskolin-95+ is the first in this new line of products that features high quality ingredients with a few extra goodies added in, just to tip the Superior Essentials line over the top compared to other standard bulk products.

One thing we’re wondering is if this is a merging or absorption of Analyzed Supplements into PEScience’s line of products? AS has been awfully quiet lately and has been dropping stock. We’ll keep our eyes and ears open for any more info relating to but until then, we’ll stick to analyzing their newest product.

Forskolin-95+ Ingredients

PES keeps this rather straight forward when deciding what to include in an essentials product. When formulating Forskolin-95+, PES borrowed two key constituents from their latest fat-burner Shift:

PES Forskolin-95+ Ingredients

Forskolin-95+ contains the highest quality extract of Coleus Forskohlii and another ingredient seen in PES’ Shift.

  • Coleus Forskohlii (Root) Extract (95% Forskolin) (50mg)

More likely than not, you’ve at least heard of Forskolin right now, and probably used it as well. It’s touted as one of the most effective non-stimulant fat burners on the market. Now, a large portion of products that do use Forskolin tend to use lesser quality extracts that can elicit some rather unpleasant side effects.

However, PES spares no expense and utilizes the highest quality extract available, 95% pure forskolin, hence the name Forskolin-95+.

The reason Forskolin has garnered such attention from the recomping and cutting community is due to its ability to induce fat loss, while simultaneously preserving, and even increasing, muscle mass in dieters.[1,2,3]

Forskolin works its magic by increasing cAMP (cyclic adenosine monophosphate) in the body. Increasing cAMP levels creates an effect similar to that of exercise in terms of the action of mitochondrial enzymes in the body.[4] This leads to increased muscle protein synthesis in the body, which would be very beneficial on a cut or recomp venture. Forskolin is quickly gaining traction as one of “the most proven stimulant-free fat loss ingredients on the market” and judging by the research coming out on it recently, we’ve have a hard time disputing that fact.

  • Hemerocallis Fulva (Flower) Extract (200mg)

    Orange Day Lily

Orange Day Lily is the other ingredient playing back up singer to Forskolin in PES’ latest product.

Also known as Orange Day Lily, Hemerocallis Fulva Extract hails from Asia. It’s a relatively new ingredient seen in fat burners, most recently Shift. It works through a similar method of action as that of Forskolin, by increasing the amount of cAMP in fat cells.

However, Hemerocallis can’t raise cAMP on its own, it needs a catalyst of sorts. When in the presence of other substances that increase cAMP levels, it further increases the amount of cAMP in cell which in turn enhances lipolysis.[5]

So, you can think of this Orange Day Lily as a great back up singer in a band led by Forskolin, the product is called Forskolin-95+ after all, not Orange Day Lily+.

Is it worth it?

What most people don’t realize is that most forskolin / coleus forskohlii supplements are very weak extracts. If it isn’t 95%, it isn’t as good as this. Plus, the addition of Hemerocallis Fulva Extract gives PES’ Forskolin-95+ a leg up on other straight bulk products – even the high-quality 95% ones.

Forskolin has repeatedly been stated to be one of the best stimulant-free fat burners on the market right now, if not the best. Most stim-free stuff simply doesn’t work as well as this ingredient, so it’s worth trying one way or another if you haven’t yet.

PEScience is known for using top quality extracts and solid, science-backed ingredients. So, while you can bet your bottom dollar the product is worth the price the put on it, that same price will also dictate whether you decide to splurge on their essentials line or not.

Users are directed to take 2 capsules daily, with or without food.

Unfortunately, Forskolin-95+ is only currently available through PES’ website, but should be making its way to the masses is due time.

If you want to stack this with something, the short answer is almost definitely going to be yes.

A notable stack will definitely be to combine this with Alphamine, our favorite fat burning powder. Same goes for Norcodrene, a popular mood-boosting fat burner (in a pill) that isn’t as heavy on the caffeine.

Neither of these above two products contain Forskolin, so the additive effect will definitely be there.

The one thing you won’t need to stack it with is PES Shift, mainly because that already has these ingredients.

Another incredible addition to the PES lineup!

PES is always reinventing their brand whether it be with new products, sourcing the latest in breakthrough, scientifically researched ingredients, or just releasing fantastic flavors of their tried and true products.

The Superior Essentials series opens up a brand new avenue for the brand to make headway into a very crowded supplement market. Forskolin-95+ is the first of hopefully many more bulk ingredients from one the the top quality players in the game today.
