    • Company Promotion Subforum

You should occasionally check this sub-forum to see who’s got what coming out, free gear, and if anyone needs a supplement log.

  • Facebook and Twitter Giveaways

There are far too many brands and stores to list here, but several of them give away plenty of stuff to people who like and share their statuses on Facebook, and retweet their posts on Twitter.

Pick and choose from perhaps 10 of your favorite brands, Like them on Facebook, add them to a special interest group for supplements, and check once every couple of days for contests, promotions, and freebies.

A great place to start is on Stack3d’s Facebook feed. If you’re not familiar with our friends at Stack3d, get over there now!!

  • Your Local Store

We’re not ones to tell you to go to the local store to buy supplements, since you can save over 40% comparing prices here, but sometimes you need a quick fix of something and gotta hit up the local shop.

They always have freebies too, so kindly ask to see if they have cool samples of anything new and hot while you’re at the checkout counter.

  • The Arnold Expo and Other Local Conventions

The Arnold Sports Festival and the local Europa expos are the MECCAs of free supplements. If you can, get there early on Friday and bring your friendly A-game.

The Arnold Strategy – Be a Professional

    Free Schwag!

OMG it’s the Arnold Expo! FREE SCHWAG!!

I can tell you from experience that if you dress nicely (I’m always wearing my company polo shirt and nice slacks) and look professional, you will get treated better.

    Popular Companies Early on Friday

We all want free stuff from the big companies like RedCon1, BSN and Optimum Nutrition, but oftentimes it’s the smaller companies where you can get more bang for your buck in terms of time.

So hit the big companies early on Friday before it gets too crowded, then when the crowds are in full force on Saturday, go after the small companies. Get ready to ask good questions, and you’ll not only get good answers, but you’ll get more stuff too.

Pro Tip: Stay Later on Sunday

The supplement companies actually have to pay to get their gear carried back out of the expo hall (the Columbus Convention Center is basically run by the Gestapo), so they’d much rather unload everything they can. If they have extra samples by the end of Sunday, you’re in luck. I’ve seen people come away with truckloads of gear.

The Other Events – Bodybuilding Shows, Fitness Expos, etc

There are also several other regional events, such as the Olympia, LA Fit Expo, etc etc, but the Arnold and the Europas are where it’s basically out of control.

For the smaller events, you likely don’t need to gameplan like you do at the Arnold. ASF is a crazy fun weekend – make sure you go sometime!

Feel free to add any updates in the comments below, and we’ll get this post fixed right up for you!
