RAW Nutrition’s CBUM Thavage RTD Brings Back Miami Vice Flavor

RAW Nutrition is all grown up, especially with their growth since current four-time Mr. Olympia Classic Physique Chris Bumstead joined the team. A brand that has been known for its casual coolness, right down to their original brown paper bag packaging, has opted for a sleeker and more professional look this year.

But that doesn’t mean they don’t still have fun. For the last two years, RAW Nutrition has released various limited-time flavors for their CBum Thavage Pre-Workout, and they always fly off the shelves. This time, the loaded Thavage Pre-Workout RTD is getting a new flavor, and it’s one that Raw Nutrition fans are no stranger to:

Chris Bumstead and the team at RAW are known for their incredible flavors. Whether we’re talking about the thick, inclusion-filled Mint Chip Itholate or their Rainbow Sherbert CBum Essential Pump RTD, RAW will never settle for “decent” flavors.

One of the coolest flavors to come from the RAW camp in the last few years (in collaboration with Ghost) was their Miami Vice Thavage Legend flavor. Unfortunately, you could only get it for a limited time in the summer last year (also re-released on Black Friday).

But now, Miami Vice is available in the monstrously-dosed Thavage Pre-Workout RTD!

• L-citrulline (6,000mg) is an amino acid that converts into arginine and then nitric oxide, resulting in higher blood arginine levels. The increased nitric oxide production leads to vasodilation (for an epic pump), improving nutrient delivery to muscles, enhancing exercise performance, reducing muscle soreness, and increasing ATP production.
• Beta-alanine (3,200mg) effectively enhances endurance in various types of exercise lasting between 30 seconds and 10 minutes. This is generally the daily clinically-verified dose, and may give a bit of the well-known tingling sensation.
• Betaine anhydrous (2,500mg), also known as trimethylglycine (TMG), is considered an ergogenic aid that enhances energy production / utilization, hydration, and recovery in athletes, providing them with a competitive advantage.
• Taurine (2,000mg) is known for its positive impact on endurance, with effective doses ranging from 1 gram to 6 grams. Taurine not only improves cellular hydration but also possesses antioxidant properties, protecting the body against free radicals and reactive oxygen species. Additionally, taurine has cognitive benefits attributed to its influence on brain receptors and its ability to reduce inflammation and enhance synaptic transmission and mitochondrial function.
• Agmatine sulfate (1,000mg) helps increase levels of arginine in the bloodstream, resulting in higher nitric oxide production and improved vasodilation. It also behaves like a neurotransmitter, potentially providing some cognitive benefits as well.
• Caffeine anhydrous (260mg) offers multiple benefits simultaneously, including speeding up fat burning, boosting overall energy levels, and reducing appetite. Note that this is 260 out of a total 305 milligram yield.
• L-theanine (150mg), an amino acid naturally found in tea leaves that also acts as a neurotransmitter in the brain and produces calming and anxiety-reducing effects without causing drowsiness. It synergizes quite well with caffeine in terms of their collective effects on focus and cognition.

  Di-caffeine malate (64mg) is a combination of caffeine and malic acid that offers the same well-known energetic effects, only it’s released more slowly into the body. This helps Thavage RTD provide a longer-lasting caffeine rush. A 64 milligram dose here provides an additional 45 milligrams of caffeine, leaving us with our total 305 milligram yield.

• AstraGin (25mg), known for its abundance of astragalosides and ginsenosides, enhances gut permeability, which results in improved absorption of nutrients from both food and supplements by intestinal cells.
• Huperzine A (100mcg) is a compound that inhibits the activity of acetylcholinesterase, which breaks down acetylcholine — our “learning neurotransmitter”. By keeping acetylcholine around longer, Huperzine A is often used to enhance cognitive function and learning ability.
