Stimerex Hardcore: Fat Burner for Stimulant Experts Only!

Stimerex Hardcore

Stimerex Hardcore is the higher-acacia, higher-DMAA choice and is only for experts who’ve already run a bottle of Lipodrene or Stimerex-ES!

So let’s say you’ve tried Lipodrene or Stimerex-ES, and somehow, the stim content wasn’t enough to do it for you. What else is left?

At this point, you’ve got two choices, and we’ve covered one already. There’s Lipodrene Hardcore, which amps things up with an even higher dose of caffeine along with some synephrine and DMAA. But what if you want something other than Lipodrene Hardcore’s high-dosed caffeine (200mg), DMAA, and ephedra? Perhaps you’d like a bit less caffeine and a bit more kick from other ingredients?

If that’s the case, then you’ll want to look into Stimerex Hardcore instead, which emphasizes a far larger dose of DMAA and PEA alkaloid content (from acacia rigidula extract) over a more modest amount of caffeine. You’ll still find Hi-Tech’s Thermo-Z ephedra in the mix, at a respectable dosing of 25mg, but that’s just window dressing compared to the other stimulants in this one!

In short… this is going to be a very high-DMAA product, and is only for experts who’ve already run a full bottle of Stimerex-ES or Lipodrene and need more before a real-deal stim-break.

Let’s break it all down piece-by-piece and see exactly what we’re working with here, but first, compare prices using PricePlow:

Once again we see the same ingredients in Hi-Tech’s other Thermo-RX / Extend-RX based ephedra fat burners. This time, everything comes in a 475mg blend (excluding the 150mg of caffeine). The contents and dosing of this blend does tend to vary somewhat with each product, however, and that continues to be the case here.

  • Ephedra Extract (25mg)

    Stimerex Hardcore Ingredients

The Stimerex Hardcore Ingredients do not mess around. Have you ever seen DMAA so high up in a proprietary blend?!

The 25mg here is among Hi-Tech’s lower doses, but it’s good for those just starting out with ephedra. Thermo-Z is the lone ephedra extract we’re recommending due to rigorous, documented safety testing — see our ephedra mega-post for more details!

Whereas ephedra used to be the star of these products in the late 90s and early 2000s due to its ephedrine content, ephedrine is no longer allowed to be sold in supplements. This is ephedrine-free ephedra!

In order to make up for that lost ephedrine, Hi-Tech has brought in a few ingredients that make up for it – and honestly, they actually feel better to many users! Read about them below, but if you want more about the truth behind the ephedra / ephedrine story, see our detailed Ephedra blog post!

  • 1,3-Dimethylamylamine HCl

Otherwise known as DMAA, this is an aliphatic amine that’s been found in the stems of geranium plants. Most users report an incredible spot of euphoria, who anecdotally claim that it increases focus as well. Dieters typically like it because it has been said to decrease appetite as well, which is likely why it’s in here.

Given that this is so very high up in a 475mg proprietary blend, we’re guessing that the dose here is one of the highest you’ll find in a fat burner – so you must have a clean bill of health, and you must have already tried Lipodrene or Stimerex-ES before moving up to this.

DMAA 2D Structure with Receptor Protection Highlighted

The DMAA 2D Structure with alpha alkyl section highlighted. This helps prevent its degradation, making DMAA bind to the dopamine receptor longer (but not too long!), inducing a phenomenal feel-good effect.

The drawback to DMAA is that it can raise blood pressure, especially in doses of 75mg. This is why it’s important to have a clean bill of health before using it. You can read more about it in our DMAA Supplements list.

With ephedrine taken out of ephedra, this is the first ingredient that helps replace it. The second one is next:

  • Acacia Rigidula Extract

This is the next standout point for Stimerex Hardcore — you’ll see higher dosings of the phenylethylamines (PEAs) extracted from acacia rigidula here than in Hi-Tech’s other ephedra fat burners. This is where the Stimerex series differs from the Lipodrene series.

    Acacia Rigidula Research

On its own, 250mg Acacia Rigidula outperforms 30mg ephedrine in VO2 testing.[1]

This blend of PEAs is hard- and fast-hitting. They attach to the dopamine receptors to provide an instant blast of mood-enhancement and motivation – perfect to help get you into the gym on a slow day.

A study performed by Hi-Tech Pharma on a similar product, Fastin XR, showed that this blend of acacia alkaloids may actually burn more energy than ephedrine in the first place![1]

While the full cocktail of phenylethylamines extracted from acacia rigidula will boost noradrenaline, adrenaline and dopamine, PEA is linked directly to stimulating dopamine and keeping it in circulation longer.[3] It’s actually found naturally in chocolate and several other foods, and is one of the reasons why dark chocolate provides a bit of a boost.

With Stimerex Hardcore, you not only get the standard five-PEA extract here, but we’ll also add some yohimbe to the mix as well – more on that later!

  • Theobroma Cocoa Extract

Theobroma extract typically brings the theobromine — an ingredient that’s similar to caffeine. Theobromine is a member of the methylxanthines family, alongside caffeine. They cross the blood-brain-barrier, and once there, they can improve mood, enhance concentration, and add a touch of arousal.

In general, this will synergize with caffeine to extend and improve its effects.[2]

  • Green Tea Extract

Green tea extract provides you with potent antioxidants and a wide range of healthful catechins, but of course the centerpiece is EGCG, which has been shown to induce lipolysis. While we don’t know the exact dose here, you’re also getting EGCG from the ephedra and possibly even the theobroma extracts, so we’re likely looking at a pretty potent amount all told.[6]

  • 3-Dimethyl Aminoethanol Bitartrate

This is a salt version of the ingredient DMAE, not to be confused with DMAA!

DMAE is used for healthy minds and cognitive function. It increases the levels of acetylcholine, which helps with memory and is known as the “learning neurotransmitter”. As we age, various biological processes slow and impair cognitive function, but DMAE may reduce some of those symptoms.

In terms of weight loss, there are no studies showing how this may help, but the increased focus is never a bad thing. There are also some connections between increased choline intakes and weight loss, although this won’t be enough of a dose to make up for that – so we’re mostly here for the longevity and cognitive enhancement.

  • Yohimbe Extract (Bark)

When drawn from the proper source and dosed properly, yohimbe inhibits the storage of fat and also suppresses appetite.[7] However, we run into the same problem here that we have with the other Hi-Tech ephedra products; the way this is labeled gives us no information about the nature of the extract or the dosing, so we can’t say for sure how much we get!

However, we’ve been told that it’s usually around 1.5mg of yohimbine, the compound typically extracted from yohimbe. This is enough to get a nice effect, but not so much to yield any anxiety-based side effects that high doses give to some people.

Yohimbe works great as an appetite suppressant when taken on an empty stomach before meals, so that’s how you should take Stimerex Hardcore as well.

  • Caffeine Anhydrous (150mg)

The story is long, but the explanation is simple: They’re legal once you take out the ephedrine alkaloids and replace them with something even better…

Caffeine sits separate from the main prop blend on the label, so we can see that the dose here is very moderate for any fat-burning product — roughly a cup and a half of coffee’s worth, and a definite step down from Lipodrene Hardcore’s dosing of 200mg.

If you’re on this page, you should know your caffeine tolerance. Some users want more caffeine, and that’s where Lipodrene Hardcore comes in. But if you want a moderate caffeine dose, and more DMAA and acacia, then you’re on the right page.

Dosing Instructions

This part is important! The label states to “Take 1-2 tablets in the morning and 1 tablet after lunch. Do not exceed 4 tablets in a 24 hour period.”

However, given how the DMAA and acacia doses may be extremely high, we recommend starting at the bare minimum — one tablet in the morning and one in the afternoon. Two tablets at once is likely to be too much for most users to handle.

Lipodrene Hardcore vs Stimerex Hardcore?

The difference admittedly isn’t gigantic, but this is definitely the choice for those who prefer PEAs over caffeine. Given how high DMAA is on the label, we’re confident that this is one of the highest DMAA-based supplements out there, so tread lightly!

Once again, you should not try this unless you’ve already run a full bottle of Lipodrene or Stimerex-ES. Your first dose may even be smart to be taken after eating to make sure you can handle it – it will hit very hard!

Regardless of which you choose, you’re getting one of the strongest stim-based fat burners on the market!
