RYSE Supps Loaded Protein: A High Quality Protein Powder Packed With Flavor!

Ryse Supps Loaded Protein Fruity

Ryse Supps Loaded Protein will help you crush cravings and make gains!

Ryse Supps Loaded Protein provides 25g of protein per scoop from the highest quality protein sources available, — whey protein isolate and whey protein concentrate — it comes in several gourmet flavors, but now Chocolate Cookie Blast has entered the flavor menu!

Meet Ryse Loaded Protein: Easy-to-Digest with incredible mixability

Loaded Protein also contains organic agave inulin (prebiotic fiber), MCT (medium chain triglyceride) oil, and is extremely easy to digest. Although it’s is not a new product, we recently got the chance to try it and were blown away by the taste, mixability, consistency, and quality ingredient selection. Now that Ryse Supps is launching the new flavor — Chocolate Cookie Blast— we thought would be a great time to highlight how great this protein powder is!

Now in Chocolate Cookie Blast — A modern twist on Cookies N’ Cream!

So far, we’ve tried Peanut Butter Cup, which uses actual peanut flour from PB2 along with cocoa powder to give it that authentic taste, and Cinnamon Toast, which reminds us of the milk left over after eating a bowl of cinnamon-based cereal. Both are phenomenal flavors, so we have high hopes for Chocolate Cookie!

Nic Stella, CEO of Ryse Supps, told us that Chocolate Cookie is not your typical “cookies n’ cream” flavor. Instead of having a plain vanilla base along with tiny cookie pieces, Ryse Supps is going with a bold chocolate based flavored protein powder and adding in decent sized cookie bits that are very similar to Oreos.

Ryse Supps Chocolate Cookie Blast

Ryse Supps Chocolate Cookie Blast has arrived!

Chocolate Cookie Blast is basically a chocolate-flavored protein powder with a blast of cookies n’ cream pieces. Ryse Supps Loaded Protein is known for having a nice thick and creamy consistency, and is a blend of whey protein isolate and whey protein concentrate.

If you’re sick of drinking thin, bland, and water protein shakes, then put Loaded Protein on your list of shakes to try — it’s basically a milkshake, especially when mixed with almond milk or regular milk! If you just crushed an intense workout, then treat yourself with a drink that will help you recover and curb your cravings!

Ryse Supps Loaded Protein Macronutrients

Let’s dive right into the macronutrient profile of Ryse Loaded Protein. Then, we’ll get into the relatively unique “other” ingredients. Keep in mind that the serving size, calories, and macronutrients vary slightly depending on the flavor.

Ryse Supps Loaded Protein SFP

Great macros and even better taste!

Here’s what one scoop (~34g) of Ryse Loaded Protein contains:

  • Calories: 130

  • Protein: 25g

  • Carbohydrates: 3g

    • Sugar: 1g

  • Fat: 2.5g

    • Saturated Fat: 1.5g

Since Ryse Supps Loaded Protein is a blend of whey protein isolate and whey protein concentrate, these macronutrients are right on par with other blends we’ve seen on the market. Regardless of what flavor you choose, you’ll always be getting 25g of protein per scoop, which is an excellent, tasty, and convenient way to hit your daily protein goal! Most people don’t believe it’s only 130 calories with 1g of sugar after tasting it.

Let’s move onto the ingredients to see how Ryse is able to make a whey protein powder taste like a milkshake!

Ryse Supps Loaded Protein Ingredients

We’re going to break this section down into two parts — protein sources and other ingredients. The protein sources are obviously the star of the show, but in order to make it taste delicious, Ryse had to add a few extra ingredients that are worth mentioning!

  • Protein Sources

Ryse Loaded Protein consists of both whey protein isolate (WPI) and whey protein concentrate (WPC). Keep in mind that if you’re sensitive to lactose, this may bother your stomach. However, the first protein source listed is WPI — meaning that it makes up the majority of protein blend!

Ryse Supps formulated Loaded Protein to be used any time of day, which is why combining two different types of whey protein is ideal, because they have slightly different benefits and digestion rates. Both WPC and WPI are relatively fast digesting, rich in essential amino acids (especially leucine), and are great for spiking muscle protein synthesis!

But, what’s the difference between the two?

    WPI vs WPC

The main thing that seperates WPI from WPC is their protein content by weight. WPC can range from 34%-80% protein by weight, whereas WPI must be at least 90% protein by weight.

    Ryse Loaded Protein Kettlebell

Loaded Protein is a perfect pre or post workout drink!

Therefore, the rest of the powder is made up of fat, lactose, and carbohydrates. WPI is considered to be a more “pure” type of protein, since it goes through additional processing to remove any unwanted carbs, fats, and sugars. However, beneficial immunoglobulins are also left behind, which can help support your immune system.

Since WPC doesn’t undergo as much processing as WPI, it retains the immunoglobulins, but also keeps minimal amounts of carbs, fats, and lactose. With Ryse Loaded Protein — you get the best of both worlds — an WPC that’s less processed and a WPI that’s more pure! This helps minimize the lactose content, keep the macronutrients in check, and maximize the flavor, taste, consistency, and texture.

Many people prefer WPC if they don’t have issues with lactose, because it tends to have a thicker and creamier consistency, and is more affordable. Regardless if you’re drinking a WPC or WPI, both are created during the processing of cheese — when the liquid (whey) gets separated from the curds (casein). The curds go on to become cheese, whereas the liquid whey will undergo various processing methods before turning into a powder.

Needless to say, whey protein dominates the supplement industry and for a good reason — it’s one of the most high quality protein sources available. PricePlow is definitely a fan of whey protein, but we are also a fan of blends, so Ryse did a great job combining the two different types of whey!

  • Other Ingredients: What Makes This Protein Taste So Good?

Back in the day when protein powders first came onto the scene, they tasted terrible, had poor mixability, and a chalky consistency.

    Ryse Loaded Protein Cinnamon

For all the cinnamon lovers out there!

Fortunately, flavoring and manufacturing processes have improved tremendously, and the majority of protein powders today taste like a gourmet treat that you actually look forward to drinking! However, some protein powders definitely stand out from the rest, whether they have nontraditional flavors or a consistency that’s to die for. There are a few companies that have mastered the flavor game and Ryse Supps is easily one of them!

Prior to the addition of Chocolate Cookie Blast, Ryse had three phenomenal flavors — Fruity Crunch, Cinnamon Toast, and Peanut Butter Cup — each has its own unique set of ingredients that make the flavor shine through. However, Ryse Supps always includes some staple ingredients which help create the sweetness, consistency, texture, and mixability for each flavor.

These ingredients that are included in every flavor:

    • MCT (medium chain triglyceride) Oil Powder

    • Organic Agave Inulin

    • Natural and Artificial Flavors

    • Gum Blend (cellulose gum, xanthan gum, carrageenan gum)

    • Sweeteners (Sucralose and Acesulfame Potassium (Ace-K))

The MCT oil is a saturated fat that adds creaminess and flavor. The organic agave inulin is a prebiotic fiber that serves as a natural sweetener. The natural and artificial flavors help create the flavor they’re after – whether that’s cinnamon cereal, fruity cereal, chocolate cookie, or chocolate peanut butter. The gum blend adds thickness and improves mixability, and lastly the two sweenters of choice are sucralose and ace-K.

As we mentioned, depending on the flavor you choose, there will likely be additional ingredients beyond this list. For example, the Peanut Butter Cup includes cocoa powder and powdered peanut flour (as PB2), whereas the Cinnamon Toast adds in cinnamon powder! Although Ryse sticks to using high quality ingredients, they add what’s needed in order to ensure what the label says is accurate.

Current Available Flavors

Ryse Loaded Protein is definitely one of their best sellers and we expect that a lot more delicious flavors are in the works.

Here’s an updated list of all available flavors of Ryse Loaded Protein:

As we mentioned, the Peanut Butter Cup and Cinnamon Toast have really impressed us, so we highly recommend those two if you’re a Reese’s cup or Cinnamon Toast Crunch connoisseur. But if you’re on the hunt for a new and exciting flavor — try out the Chocolate Cookie Blast— you won’t be disappointed!

Ryse Supps Levels Up The Protein Powder Category

Ryse Supps has only been around for a couple of years, but it’s incredibly hard to ignore their growth and success. It seems like just yesterday that Ryse was the new kid on the block, but now they’re taking things to the next level by creating new flavors, products, and sponsoring well-known athletes.

    Ryse Loaded Protein PB Cup

Peanut Butter Cup Loaded Protein is made with real peanut flour and cocoa powder!

When Ryse first launched, one of their flagship products was Ryse Loaded Protein and it remains as their top seller today. While the vast majority of supplement companies stick to the standard flavors, such as vanilla or chocolate, Ryse wanted to stand out and offer something completely different. They definitely accomplished that right from the start, but as always — Ryse is never satisfied. The all new Chocolate Cookie Blast takes Ryse Loaded Protein to new heights, which makes us excited to see what’s in store for the future!

Although 2020 has been a year full of obstacles, Ryse continues to climb to the top. This year alone, they launched a well formulated RTD (ready-to-drink) pre workout, a (now-discontinued) whole food based protein bar, and a brand new product line — Project Blackout. Regardless of what’s happening around them, Ryse is unphased and is looking to continue launching new and exciting products/flavors moving forward.
