Myprotein Clear Whey Isolate ROCKET POP Brings the Freedom

Myprotein has been on quite a clip with new flavors and product launches, including The Pre Workout Thermo, a diet-driven pre workout supplement, and a new Birthday Cake Layered Bar protein bar flavor.

But when it comes to their most fun promotions, the massive brand’s favorite target is their Clear Whey Isolate, which recently had a limited-edition Blue Raspberry flavor for Impact Week (Black Friday’s half-birthday), a massive Mike and Ike collaboration, and even a Green Apple flavor on St. Patrick’s Day!

Happy 4th of July! Celebrate in high-protein fashion with a Rocket Pop flavored Clear Whey Isolate form Myprotein!

So for 4th of July 2021, it’s no surprise that Myprotein’s putting out yet another fun Clear Whey Isolate flavor:

Rocket Pop Protein! Myprotein’s latest Clear Whey Isolate flavor

We’ve had plenty of “rocket pop” and “freedom pop” flavored pre workouts and amino acid supplements, but have we ever had this flavor system in protein form? With the clear-settling, thinner consistency of Myprotein’s Clear Whey Isolate, it’s now a possibility! The brand has a Rocket Pop flavor of Clear Whey Isolate, just in time for Independence Day.

Our tasting review will be below when published, followed by a quick description of the protein itself. But before that, check our coupon-based prices and sign up for Myprotein alerts, we do giveaways frequently on Instagram:

A bit about Clear Whey Isolate

To make it settle so translucently, Myprotein only uses hydrolyzed whey protein isolate as the protein source in Clear Whey Isolate. Whey protein isolate has a minimum of 90% protein by weight, having gone through a filtration process that removes extra carbs, fats, and lactose (milk sugars) from the dairy-based whey. By now, most readers know that whey protein can greatly help improvements in body composition (more lean muscle mass and less fat) while increasing strength in both men and women when following a solid diet and exercise program.[1-4]

The key, though, is that the product gets refined even further through hydrolysis.

Hydrolyzed whey protein isolate: protein made even more pure

With hydrolysis, the protein undergoes a “pre-digestion” process using enzymes, and this makes the whey isolate even easier to absorb and digest.[5] The interesting part here is that if you process it enough, the end product is thinner when mixed with water, to the point of it settling “clear”! Yet the hydrolyzed whey isolate still has all nine essential amino acids, including the highly-sought-after leucine branched-chain amino acid.

Myprotein Mike and Ike

Your standard protein powder doesn’t settle like this! Consider Clear Whey Isolate a hybrid between a whey protein isolate and an amino acid sports drink, but with the profile of an ultra-clean protein powder!

Since we have hydrolyzed protein here, there’s less processing you need to do to it to get those EAAs into your bloodstream. This means you can get a quicker insulin response[6] with a faster glycogen reload,[7] and that can lead to better athletic recovery.[8]

On top of the hydrolyzed whey isolate, Myprotein adds their take on the rocket pop flavor system (natural and artificial flavors) and uses the sweeteners sucralose and acesulfame potassium (Ace-K), making for a zero sugar protein supplement.

Mike and Ike Myprotein Collab

Mike and Ike and Myprotein! The industry’s latest flavor collab is for Myprotein’s Clear Whey Isolate, and we hope there’s a lot more coming!

    Happy 4th of July!

    Myprotein

Myprotein has a ton of supplements in Europe, and has brought many of them to the America shores at incredible deals!

It’s about time a brand put out a Rocket Pop flavor of protein — but it can’t be done with just any protein powder! A thicker, dairy-based milkshake just wouldn’t be right for some of these rocket pop flavors. With the standard rocket pop bringing cherry, lime (sometimes lemon), and blue raspberry hints, this goes far better with a product like Myprotein’s Clear Whey Isolate.

Their collab with Mike and Ike is still the biggest thing recently, but we love that they just keep pumping out the products and flavors.

Happy Independence Day! MyproteinUS’ parent company may be based in the UK — the country we gained our independence from — but we’re always been happy to reunite with our brothers as allies… especially in the quest for freedom and flavoring!
