At the 2014 Olympia Expo, MuscleTech announced that UFC® light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones, has re-signed with them for a multi-year deal.
The most exciting part about it, is that they’re giving Jones his own line of products – Jon Jones Supplements!
The partnership also includes Jones’ brothers, Arthur Jones (Indianapolis Colts defensive end) and Chandler Jones (New England Patriots defensive end / outside linebacker). An absolutely genius play by MuscleTech, who is taking a multi-prong approach to building a “celebrity line”.
Details are still being kept quiet, but we’ll keep you updated when we find out more.

Until then, let’s take a look at who Jon Jones is and why you’d want to use his supplement line.
A Little Bit Of Background On Jon “Bones” Jones
Weighing in at 205 at a height of 6 foot 4 inches, Mr. Jones is simply a beast. As mentioned earlier, he’s the current UFC® light heavyweight champion.
That’s not his only accomplishment though, he also holds the record for becoming the youngest UFC® champion in history.
It doesn’t end there either. Here’s a few more things he’s accomplished:
- Third most consecutive title defenses in UFC® history (7)
- Most successful Light Heavyweight title defenses in UFC® history (7)
- Longest win streak in UFC® Light Heavyweight history (11)
- Most consecutive Light Heavyweight title defenses in UFC® history (7)
How does he do it?
There’s no doubt that Jon has incredible genetics – note his two brothers playing professional football! As mentioned, these men are beasts.
That being said, like every other pro athlete – he trains incredibly hard, diets properly, and supplements strategically.
MuscleTech released a copy of one of his workout routines and it’s intense.
Check it out:
After reading that for the first time, your impression was probably similar to ours…
How does he keep up with it all?
In addition to following a solid diet, what kind of supplements does Jones use to stay in such prime condition?
After all, MuscleTech refers to the above trio as the Jon Jones Stack. They also promote another stack in honor of the fighter, the Jon Jones Fight Stack.
So, we can kind of get a glimpse as to what supplements Jones is using, through the different stacks named after him.
We’re hopefully assuming that the new Jon Jones supplement line will include unique products that Jones recommends and uses himself.
However, as I mentioned earlier, right now the specifics are being kept under wraps, so we don’t exactly know what to expect.
It certainly sounds promising though, and we have high hopes. MuscleTech isn’t the first company to sponsor UFC athletes – MusclePharm became incredibly popular by sponsoring fighters. We just hope that this “celebrity line” ends up better than MusclePharm’s Arnold Series, which has mostly been a disappointment.
Stay tuned for more information, as soon as we get an update you will too!
