Ingredients

EVL LeanMode Probiotic Ingredients

Strong fat-burning ingredients mixed with healthy gut bacteria makes for a unique label!

Below is what you’re getting in each 3-capsule serving, of which there are 40 total in each container. Note, however, that we’re flipping this label upside down and starting with the newly added star of the show — the probiotics!

  • Probiotics – healthy gut bacteria!

    Lactobacillus acidophilus – 25mg (5 billion CFU)

    Lactobacillus paracasei – 12.5mg (5 billion CFU)

    Lactobacillus plantarum – 12.5mg (5 billion CFU)

Although you may be predisposed to view the term “bacteria” as a negative word, there are actually some pretty good forms of bacteria out there, and this version of LeanMode makes good use of them! Bacteria from the Lactobacilli family are housed within the intestines and help break down food as its being digested. Research shows that gut bacteria control hormones that affect appetite and hunger,[7] healthy gut bacteria are key factors in your weight. Thankfully, we have these probiotics to help keep things running smoothly!

    Lactobacillus Acidophilus

A meta-analysis from 2015 investigated the effects that the Lactobacilli bacteria had on body weight. They found that the probiotics significantly reduced body weight by, on average, 1.3lbs.[8] They also noted greater effects when multiple species were consumed simultaneously, similarly to what we have here!

In terms of each specific strain, however, here’s what science suggests:

    • Lactobacillus acidophilus facilitates optimal gut health,[9] as it encourages the formation of healthy gut bacteria!
    • Lactobacillus paracasei may play a role in preventing fat tissue accumulation.[10]
    • Lactobacillus plantarum, according to a meta-analysis from 2012, is positively associated with weight loss.[11]
    EVLSports LeanMode + Probiotic

Gut Health is associated with weight loss… but on top of helping the problem with healthy bacteria, we also believe in removing the poison that started it in the first place!

LeanMode + Probiotic delivers an awesome 15 billion colony-forming units (CFUs), which makes for a massive dose of healthy probiotics. The 3 EVL uses here happen to be 3 of the most useful, as well, especially in terms of losing weight. Making sure that your gut health is in check is an imperative first step in any weight-loss journey, and this product helps ensure that’s covered!

  • Garcinia Cambogia Extract (60% HCA) – 500mg

Originally hailing from India, garcinia cambogia is one of the most widely-available weight-loss ingredients on the market. Despite coming under fire in recent years due to erroneous claims made by “health gurus”, the active ingredient in the fruit remains quite potent in aiding proper weight loss and appetite suppression.

The star of the show here is hydroxycitric acid (HCA),[1] the component within garcinia that drives weight loss. Research has shown it can suppress appetite,[2] increase fat oxidation,[1] and decrease body weight.[1]

60% HCA is a high-yield form of garcinia, delivering the weight-loss punch that, despite what you may have heard, connects every time!

  • Green Coffee Bean Extract 1:1 (Coffea robusta) – 500mg

    Green Coffee Bean

Green Coffee Bean is rich in chlorogenic acid which is full of health benefits.

Derived from raw coffee beans, green coffee bean extract (GCE) is another popular weight-loss agent. It’s been studied under numerous lights, but a meta-analysis from 2011 provides perhaps the most comprehensive summary of its effects. These researchers concluded that GCE significantly reduce body weight,[3] noting that subjects lost an average of around 5.5lbs while supplementing with GCE!

The chlorogenic acid inside has demonstrated shown great benefits for blood pressure, but the jury’s still out on just how strong GCE is for weight loss. Regardless, there’s definitely some healthy potential here.

  • Conjugated Linoleic Acid – 500mg

CLA is an omega-6 fatty acid commonly found in various red meat and dairy products, which in recent years, due to increasing popularity, has been sold in isolated form. Research suggests that CLA can reduce body fat mass in humans,[4] albeit at higher doses than we have here. Although 500mg is a bit short of the 3.2g clinical dose, you can surely get the rest of the fatty acid through quality foods – especially since higher meat/elimination diets are incredible for gut health.

This may help replace what’s lost when completely cutting dairy, which is something many with gut health problems should try for at least a month or two to see what happens (on top of, of course, eliminating seed oils like rapeseed-based canola oil, soybean oil, and corn oil).

  • Acetyl-L-Carnitine – 500mg

    Green Tea Catechins

Green Tea offers multiple powerful catechins, including EGCG. This one may increase fat oxidation, and thus, enhance fat loss!

EVL uses carnitine here to help shift the main fuel source of your metabolism. The amino acid helps free up fatty acids for energy use,[5] shuttling them to the mitochondria in order to help power your muscles. Considering that this product delivers CLA in addition to your own body fat stores, having carnitine to help efficiently use those fatty acids is crucial to your weight-loss endeavor!

We also like ALCAR here for a bit of extra cognitive focus, since it crosses the blood-brain barrier.

  • Green Tea Leaf Extract 4:1 (Camellia sinensis) – 250mg

Green tea needs no introduction – it’s perhaps the most nutrient-packed, beneficial tea out there! Praised for its high content of antioxidants, specifically epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), the tea actually provides significant benefits in terms of weight loss.

Research shows that green tea extract can increase metabolic rate via its potent EGCG content.[6] There’s also evidence it does so through fat oxidation, which would obviously make the extract desirable in terms of fat loss. However, it’s important to note that many studies used green tea extract that contained caffeine, a known fat-loss enhancer, which is not present here. That being said, the biological processes involved with the EGCGs suggest green tea extract is still a worthy addition to this label!

Conclusion – LeanMode + Probiotic does more than most fat burners!

With so much to offer, LeanMode + Probiotic truly separates itself from other fat burners out there!

Optimal gut health is something that gets overlooked way too much these days. With the number of genetically-modified foods in our diets, growing food sensitivities, and the somewhat overwhelming presence of processed foods, it’s pretty easy for gut health to get thrown out of whack. With the responses of hunger and fullness being linked to a healthy gut, clearly, making sure your intestines are running efficiently is imperative to losing weight.

We consider there to be a few simultaneous things to do to improve gut health:

  1. Remove the poison
    1. Eliminate refined carbohydrates like sugar and grains
    2. Completely remove Industrialized processed seed oils like rapeseed canola oil, soybean oil, corn oil, sunflower oil, safflower oil, and cottonseed oil that are high in rancid omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids like linoleic acid.
    3. Dairy possibly goes in this category too, depending on your system.
  2. Add in the gut-beneficial proteins (ruminant meat like beef, lamb, and bison) along with smart supplementation from probiotics. This is where LeanMode + Probiotic helps.
  3. Tinker with fiber and fibrous vegetables. If high-fiber doesn’t work for you, then eliminate them and try low fiber. If low-fiber doesn’t work for you, then add more back in!

EVL Nutrition understands there’s more to a product than the typical chemicals and compounds. The body must be able to effectively receive and use them. The brand wants to support specific goals, sure, but also your overall health, as well. LeanMode + Probiotic is an embodiment of that sentiment, making for a refreshing, strong fat burner!
