Dexaprine Original – with DMAA – is Back!

…at least for a limited time. And even better, we now know how much caffeine and DMAA is inside!!

The full story

Fat burners are a dime a dozen in the supplement industry. Much like pre workouts, they come in all shapes, sizes, flavors, and effectiveness. Some sound great but don’t really deliver, and others don’t look all that impressive from the outside, but deliver surprising results.

…and then there are the OG fat burners.

The famed ones from yesteryear that looked good on the outside and felt just as good on the inside. However, when DMAA temporarily went the way of the dinosaurs, most of the truly effective fat burners went with it.

Not anymore!

Thanks to the recent acquisition of iForce Nutrition by Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals, on of the original gangsters of the thermogenic market is back in action. Dexaprine is making a limited run appearance, and if you’re after a seriously hard-hitting fat burner you’ll want to jump on this!

Our Dexaprine Review: It’s STRONG

Mike and CJ discuss Dexaprine, show what it looks like, and split a tablet in half (which is what beginners should do here). Seriously strong appetite suppression, but don’t take this too lightly.

The ingredients are below, but the quick take is 250mg caffeine and 65mg DMAA in one tablet… plus the thyroid metabolites! Wow!

Dexaprine Ingredients

Fans of the original Dexaprine remember how potent of a stim-driven fat burner it was. Combining Synephrine, DMAA, and Caffeine will definitely set you on an energy like rarely experienced with other products.

Let’s cut to the chase and post the whole thing – with caffeine and 1,3 disclosures – right away:

Dexaprine Ingredients

Dexaprine is a STRONG fat burner that contains 65mg of DMAA and 250mg of caffeine per caplet. This isn’t for the faint of heart! Snap a caplet in half!

Now for the details. iForce and Hi-Tech have teamed up to bring the original formula back to the masses that will have you feeling great while dropping the goo from your midsection:

  • Thermophoric Amine Mood Enhancement Complex

    • Citrus Aurantium

iForce Joins the Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals Brands

iForce is BACK with the OG formulas, as they officially joins the Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals Brands

Citrus Aurantium, a.k.a. bitter orange, is a plant known to contain a number of highly bioactive alkaloids. Frequently, products won’t list what they are typically extracting for, it could be synephrine, octopamine, or higenamine. However, Dexaprine’s particular extract has been standardized for 30% Synephrine.

Countless trials have demonstrated that Synephrine is an incredibly effective, and safe, alternative to ephedrine.[1] It acts as a strong beta receptor agonist in the body,[2,3] which stimulates lipolysis. This allows your body to essentially “burn fat for fuel.”[4]

As further proof of its safety, synephrine can elevate your metabolic rate without further spiking your heart rate or blood pressure.

    • 1,3 DMAA (65mg)

For those of you that never experienced DMAA or heard of it, here’s a quick primer. DMAA is classified as a sympathomimetic amine that can be extracted from the Geranium plant.

It triggers the release of norepinephrine in the body,[5,6] which is what gives users that incredible feel-good sensation from products that contain it.

Anecdotally, this is also the ingredient that contributes to huge amounts of appetite suppression as well – although there’s no official research to back that up, it happens so consistently that we’re willing to hope it works for you as well. To top it off, it’s not even the only appetite suppressing ingredient in the formula!

      Isn’t 1,3 Banned?

The answer is no – the re-launch product was made possible because Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals, who now owns iForce Nutrition, is going to court with the FDA over the legality of DMAA. They claim that the FDA’s warning letters do not constitute final agency action and that DMAA is natural, DSHEA compliant, and has never been illegal.

Until that is resolved, Hi-Tech and their subsidiaries will continue to manufacture and sell supplements with the ingredient.

One thing to note that is that when used in doses less than 75mg, it won’t increase your heart rate.[7] Pairing high doses (>75mg) with caffeine may result in elevated blood pressure. We’re not sure how much is in the original Dexaprine, unfortunately.

We typically like to keep our DMAA between 25 and 50mg, which is why we suggest snapping half of a caplet in half when beginning this to assess your tolerance.

Thanks to Vaughn at iForce for disclosing the caffeine and 1,3 doses!

  • Extended Release Energy Complex

    • Caffeine Anhydrous (250mg)

      iForce Walker Brooke

Want to get shredded and stage ready like iForce athlete and IFBB Pro Walker Brooke? Dexaprine is a heck of a way to start on that path!

Caffeine seems like the tamest ingredient in this potent fat burner. You’re well acquainted with caffeine and probably have a wide range of experiences with it.

It gives you a great pick me up in the morning after a bad night’s sleep, and helps you feel more alert while in your workout or cramming for finals.

    • Green Tea Extract

Green Tea extracts are frequently used in fat burners, but more often than not they’re standardized for 50% EGCG. Dexaprine, however, is standardizing for Theophylline.

Theophylline, a.k.a. 1,3-dimethylxanthine, is a methylxanthine compound that belongs to the same chemical family as caffeine and theobromine. Much like its counterparts, theophylline is a non-selective adenosine receptor agonist that stimulates the A1, A2, and A3 receptors.[8]

Activating these receptors leads to several actions including: increased heart rate, increased blood pressure, and stimulates the CNS.

Furthermore, theophylline is also a strong phosphodiesterase (PDE) inhibitor which increases intracellular cAMP and reduces inflammation in the body.[9]

Combining this with the other stims already loaded in Dexaprine is sure to have your motor running and you may be ready to start bouncing off the walls!

  • Anabolic Protein Synthesis Enhancing Complex

    • 3,3’ Diiodo L-Thyronine (200mcg) & 3,5 Diiodo L-Thyronine (100mg)

      iForce Alicia Gillis

iForce athlete Alicia Gillis takes a minute to show off her great glute gains thanks to hard training and iForce’s stellar line of stupplements.

We’ve paired these two ingredients together as they are both metabolites of a hormone called triiodothyronine (T2), one of the main thyroid hormones. It’s naturally occurring and plays a part in virtually all physiological functions.

What business do they have being in a fat burner?

Interestingly enough, supplementing with this duo actually increases metabolic rate and reduces appetite without raising your heart rate, blood, pressure, or any other effect stimulants impart on the body![10,11,12]

The same studies have also noted a decrease in overall body weight and no cardiac side effects observed whatsoever!

The research is limited, but the studies that do exist are rather impressive and if more research is conducted, this could lead to more effective non-stimulant fat burners being produced.

Dexaprine is STRONG stuff! It’s highly advised to start with ½ a caplet on an empty stomach to access your tolerance.

Once you’re sure you’re still good to go for a few days, you can proceed to increasing your dose to 1 caplet on an empty stomach immediately upon waking. For the hardcore stim junkies, an extra 1/2 serving may be consumed 6-8 hours later.

Do not consume more than 2 caplets in any 24 hour period. THIS IS SERIOUS!

Wrap Up

Let’s admit it. Some of you want some insanely strong stuff. If nothing else is making you feel it, Dexaprine will. And if it doesn’t, then you need a serious one month stimulant break or longer.

Sometimes cardio, dieting, and weight lifting aren’t enough to drop the pounds. This is the time when a potent and reputable fat burner will come in handy.

You don’t need to waste time and money on the ineffective fat burners that litter the market – for the Dexaprine fan, they’re just too weak. You need one that delivers on all its claims and can be felt.

Dexaprine is one of the few that hits on all fronts, and if you’re brave enough to tame the beast, you’ll be handsomely rewarded with astounding results.

It might not be around for long, so make sure to check the widget below and grab it before it’s gone again…
