Creatine Monohydrate / Magnesium Creatine Chelate (5g)

Here’s where the “Strength” comes from in the Strength – Power – Recovery Blend. Study after study has been conducted on creatine and time and again, it’s proven to be one of the most effective supplements for improving not only strength, but power, lean mass gains, and recovery as well.[1,2,3,4]
We love supplementing some magnesium
So you might be wondering… normally we love proven good old creatine monohydrate for our gains. But recently, we’ve been researching and writing a lot more about magnesium, and it’s pretty clear that most of us in the western world simply don’t get enough.
This is just part of where the benefits of magnesium creatine chelate come in:
Monohydrate is absorbed through a sodium-dependent transporter, while MCC is absorbed through a ligand-gated cation channel in the body. Furthermore, using a combination of monohydrate and MCC could yield better loading effects as the body has multiple pathways by which it can absorb creatine. More research is needed to prove this, but it is an interesting possibility.
MCC has been shown to be effective for improving strength as well as water retention in skeletal muscle.[26,27] However, the magnesium component is what’s really intriguing.
Magnesium supplementation confers numerous benefits including: improved sleep, learning improvement, and better overall health.[28,29,30]
The vast majority of us are chronically low in Magnesium and getting enough can do wonders for improving performance and overall quality of life.

Betaine Anhydrous (2.5g)
Betaine anhydrous, a.k.a trimethylglycine, has become a staple in most new pre workouts hitting the market. When you want to improve your overall power production, you want betaine, plain and simple.
Research has repeatedly shown that betaine increases power output, endurance, muscle protein synthesis, and recovery.[5,6,7,8]
Furthermore, betaine actually enhanced the body’s production of creatine, which further enhances your work capacity and overall energy production during your workout.
CreMax XT contains the full 2.5g clinical dose, another rarity for pre workouts. This is one of our favorite ingredients, and we can definitely feel a difference in our workouts when using betaine as part of our pre workout supplementation.
Do I need both creatine and betaine?
Now, there might be a bit of overlap between creatine and betaine, since they both serve as organic osmolyte (they take water into cells to protect against osmotic stress).
However, betaine has a few extra functions, such as lipogenic-inhibiting actions, and everyone who’s stacked even 3g creatine with 2.5g betaine has had incredible results.
Given that they don’t have negative interactions, they both result in safe, natural gains, and they’re both relatively inexpensive, why not take both? CreMax XT makes the decision easy for you.
L-Alanyl L-Glutamine (2.5g)
Glutamine has long been touted to be a great ingredient to include for advancing muscle protein synthesis and speeding recovery. The problem with regular L-Glutamine is that the stomach gobbles it all up before it has a chance to get to your intestines and then onto your muscles where it’s actually needed.
Combining L-Alanine with L-Glutamine improves the bioavailability and absorption of L-Glutamine making sure your muscles get the recovery benefits of this powerful amino acid.[11,12]
Studies have used anywhere between 1-3g of L-Alanyl L-Glutamine and show significant improvements in overall recovery.
To be on the safe side, CreMax XT includes a hefty 2.5g dose, not something you’re likely to find in many other pre workout offerings.
Power, Pumps, and Fullness (3.1g)
Taurine is a conditionally essential amino acid with large reserves stored in the brain, muscles and heart. More importantly, it acts as a cell volumizer in skeletal muscle, helping to pull water and nutrients into it.
This turns your muscle into a sponge and works synergistically with creatine to improve cell volumization and overall hydration. Not only will you see greater endurance, but you’ll also experience some rather nice “water-based” pumps when taking it pre workout, and drastically reduced DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness).[13,14]
Glycerol Powder 65%
Another cell volumizer included in CreMax XT is the high-yield glycerol powder, HydroMax®. Compared to glycerol monostearate (GMS), which only contains 25% glycerol, this form of glycerol contains 65% by weight.
Just like Taurine and Creatine, glycerol enhances the muscles ability to absorb and store water. You’ll experience even greater “water-based” pumps in addition to having more rounded and fuller looking muscles. Furthermore, including glycerol in CreMax XT improves endurance thanks to its ability to induce a state of “hyper-hydration” in your body.[16,17]
Best when CreMax XT is used pre workout
This is one of the ingredients that brings its benefits when taken pre workout. While CreMax XT can be a daily creatine / muscle-building supplement to take any time of the day, you might as well take it pre workout on workout days to get this in.
However, if you don’t want to take this pre workout, the HydroMax may go a bit to “waste” if you’re not heading out to the beach to look swole.
Another rare ingredient to include in a pre workout is the fatigue fighter, Creatinol-O-Phosphate (COP). COP prevents the pH level in skeletal muscle from dropping too low and creating an acidic environment and a “burning sensation.”. This allows your muscles to keep contracting far longer than they typically would.[18,19]
Just like we notice a big difference when using betaine, COP is another one of those ingredients where we can feel a significant boost is strength.
One last bit of info on this great ergogen is that it donates a phosphate group back to skeletal muscle the ATP process in the body, which further enhances the effects of creatine. We just wish there was a lot more published research on this ingredient so it could get the attention it deserves.
Amentoflavone is yet another unique ingredient rarely used in other non-stim pre workouts. However, feedback from those who have used the ingredient before rave about it for the strength gains it imparts.
Amentoflavone enhances muscle contractions by increasing the amount of calcium transported into muscle cells. This is one of the primary reasons it’s such a great strength booster.
Furthermore, amentoflavone is also a strong PDE-5 inhibitor that improves vasodilation and pumps that were already pretty strong to begin with.
Lastly, Amentoflavone also is improves alertness, mood, and fat-burning.[22,23,24] If you haven’t tried this ingredient yet, you need too! There’s simply too many benefits from this single ingredient to not give it its due course.
These potential strength gains are another great reason to take CreMax XT pre workout.
Electrolyte Hydration Blend (500mg)
All the ergogenics aids won’t do you a bit of good, if your body isn’t properly hydrated. Electrolytes are required by the body to maintain hydration levels and supply your muscles with the raw materials need to properly contract throughout your workout.
Tons of electrolytes are lost through sweat during intense physical activity, and losing as little as 2% of your hydration levels can lead to impaired CNS function, decreased performance, and severe cramping.

If you’ve never tried creatine + betaine, give this a go and watch what happens. You’re gonna like it. On the flip side, if you’re on a water cut, say at the tail end of a diet, you will want to stay away.
