2012 was a year of many homeruns for Cellucor. One of its biggest wins was when BodyBuilding.com named Super HD as their Fat Loss Supplement of the Year. Deservedly so, this is an incredible formulation that has a unique 160mg caffeine per capsule combined with several brain-enhancing nootropics, which puts it in an interesting position for both men and women alike.
When Will it be Released? Here’s what we know:
It looks like April, but not a whole lot is known. The best way to find out is to let us do the work by signing up for a notification below:
What we do know is that it will come in a 30 serving container, which honestly doesn’t seem like much, especially if you want to use it every day (I would need a bit less than two scoops a day)… so for an 8 week run… I’d need nearly 4 tubs?!
Initial Flavors Available
It also looks like the first flavors to be available will be fruit punch, peach mango, and strawberry lemonade. Cellucor’s flavoring team never disappoints, so we assume there should be no problem sipping away at this, despite the wild number of herbal compounds in the ingredient profile.
This is the biggest question. Super HD has a lot of ingredients, some of which don’t exactly taste that great. We assume they’ll be hanging on to the proprietary iFAS503, which is a major core of Super HD, as well as caffeine, and some form of yohimbe.
Adjust Your Dosage
At 160mg caffeine, its a perfect dosage for many, but it could be too strong for caffeine-sensitive individuals and women. It’s nearly impossible to split a Super HD capsule in half.
This isn’t much of a problem with powder, however, as you can adjust it to your liking. Just take less than a scoop if you want to start lighter – and we’d in fact recommend doing that, as 160mg will hit a stimulant beginner pretty hard, especially with the other ingredients in Super HD.
Super HD Capsules Have a Great Profile
We cover the ingredient profile in more detail over at our Cellucor Super HD Powder page, so we won’t get into the details here.
But real quickly, our favorite ingredient in Super HD? Besides the caffeine, it’s gotta be rhodiola rosea, and “adaptagenic” herbal supplement that helps regulate all kinds of hormone levels in the brain.
The biggest reason it’s in Super HD, besides the fact that it makes you feel great, is because Rhodiola is an antioxidant that helped keep blood glucose levels low (source 2). But it also improves endurance, reduce muscle damage, and increases cardiac output. Awesome stuff, and we hope Cellucor keeps it in for the powder!
